They canceled my behind-the-wheel DMV test appointment without notice, and I nearly missed my driving test. The only reason I was able to take the test was because my instructor, Felix, genuinely cared and advocated for me. He managed to get the school to switch the schedule back at the last minute so I could make it. The school also refused to give me a refund for the canceled appointment. Instead, they let my instructor take me to the test by canceling another student's appointment, leaving her behind--even though she had already taken the day off for her test, just like I did. They also canceled one of my driving lessons without any explanation and didn't even inform the instructor. The only good part of this experience was Felix--he's the best driving teacher, and I wouldn't have passed without him. I wish I could have taken lessons with him directly, without dealing with the school at all.

My wife took their 10 Hour Driving Training course. Three issues:…read more 1. Every time my wife scheduled a two-hour lesson using their website, they would charge our credit card the entire ten-hour course cost ($815). This happened twice after the first and only authorized payment. They claimed they would refund us for the two erroneous charges but they never have after three months. 2. They assigned different driving instructors throughout the course. These driving instructors do not follow a uniform lesson plan and have completely different teaching styles. One of the instructors was great but the other was terrible. The latter instructor had no structure whatsoever. He simply told my wife to drive wherever she felt was right and had a blunt and rude personality most of the time. 3. One of their vehicles had broken air conditioning. My wife took the course over the summer so you can imagine how uncomfortable that was. She would come back from her lessons sweating profusely. This review managed to avoid receiving only one star simply because of the pleasant experience my wife had with one of their instructors (Jose). He earned them the additional star. Other than that, I suggest avoiding this place if you want to spare yourself the trouble.

The students that were most successful were the ones that were humble and just doing their best to follow instructions. I could tell that the instructors wanted us all to enjoy our experience and pass our riding test. I passed but still have ALOT to learn. The tips i'd offer are: - Find a friend with a bike prior to the class so you can sit on it and learn the controls. Just learn whatever you can -Get on any two wheels available to warm up in the days prior to class/morning of, and practice going around corners and turns (even a bicycle) -You will get hot, wear comfy clothes and plan to sweat. The gloves, boots, helmet, and pavement roast you -Be humble and try to relax - everyone is a newbie. They will give you feedback and and constructive criticism. You're not in trouble and you probably don't suck as much as you might be thinking lol - Pack your own snacks and cold water Thanks again for the cool experience. It's much appreciated. I learned alot and will be a safer rider after attending. I do plan to take more classes.

There are a…read morelitany of valuable skills taught that will not only make you faster around the racetrack, but could save your life on real-world roads. I'd recommend it for anyone south of an intermediate level track driver. For these folks, more advanced courses are available, and I have full faith they'd be excellent as well. Itinerary: -1h classroom safety/racing fundamentals (lots of good info for the road, too) -Emergency mid-corner braking from highway speeds--M4 xdrive -Last-minute lane change, followed by emergency braking, from highway speeds--M2 -Skidpad (controlled initiation and recovery of oversteer/drifting)--M5 sedan -Lead/follow track laps at The Thermal Club raceway (real race track, adjacent to BMW's lower-speed "training oriented" facility) -Lunch (really a highlight. 2 salads, chicken breast, homemade meatballs. Better than many restaurant meals I had in the area.) -Timed autocross laps on BMW's own smaller track (little competition among the participants)--M2 -More lead/follow laps at The Thermal Club--M4 xdrive After experiencing the wear and tear these cars are put through in such a short time, I think the cost of admission is quite subsidized as well. Would definitely go back for further classes.
