    This one star is more than they deserve, it should be zero. I met with the respiration therapist…read moretoday and it did not go well. She did not want to meet with me so she called me before my appointment to say she had a printout ready for me. I did not ask her for/nor did I need a printout. I have never been called by Hart Medical after picking up my equipment for any kind of wellness check. I had a massive air leak with the mask I was given. This massive leak was on her partial report with the wrong start date on it. She disputed the day that I picked up my equipment. This air leak continued for 39-40 days, it was loud and dried my eyes out daily. The leak only stopped after an internal medicine/sleep doctor prescribed me a new mask. My machine is not recording all the time that I am doing "therapy". This was my main concern, which did not get addressed. I was hoping that she would look at the machine since I packed it up and brought it, but she did not. I was there less than 15 minutes. She gave me her printout and wanted me gone, that was obvious. I did not think that they had any "professional" people working there. The tech support has also given me bogus information. You must call M-F, 8:30-5 ET and leave a message. You may or may not get called back from their tech support. I have also spoken to Brian, the Regional Manager. I have called him twice since we last talked and he has never called me back, which makes me feel marginalized, ignored and frustrated. I think I saw him leaving the facility today. These concerns about them need to be reported to Medicare. It is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. I think about other vulnerable people who cannot advocate for themselves. Hart Medical could care less about you and do not mind articulating it! If you have relatives, friends, or acquaintances who may need medical equipment DO NOT RECOMMEND HART if you care about them and their well-being.

I discussed with him a problem, the representative offered a solution. I called back to accept the solution. There was no documentation in my record of the proposed solution. There was no documentation of who had phoned me, no documentation of the contact at all. So they requested i come back in for another fitting appointment, a 2 week wait to get in. Requested i go all thru the facial scan again, really, has my face changed in 2 weeks? (No, they didn't retain the original scans). Got there for my appointment, kept me waiting over 30 minutes past my appt time. Brian explained to me there is no other option. I said the phone rep offered me an option and I want to move forward with that. Brian stated he's the Regional Manager and he knows there's no other option. So I asked him why then they had me wait 2 weeks and then come on for another appointment. He had no answer. I pointed out the phone rep had given me bad info, my record had not been updated to document the contact, they requested I come in for an appointment for nothing, i wait more than half an hour past my appt time, and then told there is nothing they can do, just a complete failure all around, and complete waste of my time. Run, run, far away from this medical equipment provider. They are really bad.

    I had a billing issue with Sparrow Medical Supply. They were billing me and adding late fees for…read moreclaims which I'd already paid and for which payment had cleared the bank. Instead of proactively investigating the issue from their end, they got defensive and just kept insisting they didn't receive payment whenever I'd ask a different question about the payment process to try and understand where things may have broken down. I'm a troubleshooter, it's what I do. They seemed to take my questions as attacks rather than inquisitiveness, which, in my professional experience, generally indicates poor working conditions, hostile management, and disgruntled employees. Only after my bank faxed proof of payment to their office did they bother to believe me and do their own investigation -- they called to tell me the matter was "resolved", that they found all the payments. That was nice of them to do. However, since I'd never had a billing issue like this before, I wanted to understand what happens next. When I asked for clarification on what "resolved" means, the person on the phone got defensive -- incredulously asking me "you don't know what resolved means?" -- instead of just explaining that my balance was set to zero and all late fees cancelled. Incredibly unprofessional behavior and absolutely horrible customer service. Again, this is probably due to poor working conditions and hostile management. Hopefully U of M can clean out the toxic managers and improve conditions there, but I'm not going to wait around to find out. I'm absolutely taking my business elsewhere as soon as I can. In summary, I feel bad for anyone who can't find an alternative to Sparrow Medical Supply. Their selection of average products are leased and sold at prices much higher than the same products in other countries.

Not what I would expect from a business associated with The University of Michigan as a BC/BS provider.

    Only gave one star because i wanted to make sure they didnt think i forgot…read more My wife was burned with about 18% her body being covered. Both legs and left hand. 2nd and 3rd degree. Left the burn unit thursday and when i called care linc to go over order surprised how few supplies i received. Called them Thursday and they said they would mail some out 2-3 days but if i needed anything they had someone on call 24-7. We made it through the weekend and went to haslett location monday around 10:30 am. Was informed they dont stock any of those supplies. Would have to be shipped, informed then not what i was told. They said they could get stuff out to me in 2-3 days. Asked could i go some where and pick u, said they had to check insurance to see what was covered. Told me hospital listed as three wounds, 2 legs and left hand. Allowed 184 4" pads per wound a month. I did quick math and said thats over 550 a month and you only sent 84? So can i get 100 coming??? To get me going? Said sorry we need to confirm this? I left and called corporate who also was no help. Called doctors office in GR they called another supplier in lansing and they had most supplies and where willing to get anything we didn't have over nighted. I wasn't looking for special treatment just what was needed to take care of my wife's wounds. I highly recommend you find someone else to get med supplies from other then care linc. I complained about both multiple people being in my data as well as the nagging e-mails and received a reply that included a non-apology "..I'm sorry the CPAP didn't work out for you." and a justification for a "very large team of people" to be in my data. The other points I made in my correspondence regarding how the nagging e-mails felt similar to being harassed by a bill collector were completely ignored. I have returned the CPAP machine and I have no intention of doing any kind of business with this company again.
