I'm here to be honest and upfront about this company. There's no exaggeration with my review, only truth. Lincare is the is the epitome of a scam company. Their lies, poor customer service, promises broken, billing scams, and more, is what's causing me to write this review. My first appointment was last December. I received a new CPAP machine and mask. I went in there asking for a new Resmed mask. They initially told me they didn't have it yet and will order it. They said they would call me when its ready. After a few weeks, I heard nothing. So, I decide to call them for an update. Their update was they have a vendor that they can order it and have it in a week. A week goes by, and I haven't heard anything. I call in again for an update, now it's they have them, but they need to enter it in their system. At this point, a month goes by without an update. I call them back because I'm now frustrated with them. I made the point clear, I wanted that mask from the first appointment. I finally spoke with the manager and she assured me they will fixed it and work hard to get it out. She promised me she would call once a week to give me an update. That only lasted a week and left me hanging. Two-three months go buy, and I finally call them and complain. I yet again ask about update and she said she'll call me back. Now, after three weeks, no call back. Why do I want this mask? Because its the update to the mask I've had for the past five years. Resmed is selling the new mask on most sites. So, it's not too new for it to be backordered. My current and likely guess is that Lincare has a remaining stock of the old mask and is purposely choosing to not offer the new. This way they can sell their old stock before offering the new, even after I have been requesting this mask for five months and been given empty promises. Second problem is the way they handled the billing of the new CPAP. I received the new CPAP last December. My insurance deductible was met, and should have covered a large portion of the device. Lincare decided to wait until the new year to process the billing of it. Because they waited, now we owe a far larger amount than we should. This I don't understand or a have good explanation for. My guess is that they did this out of spite or because they're scammers. I think it's a combination of both. They're irritated that I have been trying to get this mask and complaining. The poor customer service and the lies fit with my theory. There have been a ton of problems with this company. This month, they sent me a new mask, but it was the old mask. They have no scruples. They're liars and scammers. Don't do business with them. All you need to do is read their negative reviews to see what they're truly like. If they respond with a canned response of, "we take pride in our service or we've done this or that", don't believe them. STAY FAR AWAY. read more

Lin Care provided a c-pap machine for me. The staff was and is amazing. Have had several questions, needed an adjustment on machine and every visit has been positive where the staff is friendly, professional, and caring. The staff is both qualified and empathetic. Yikes! Customer service is NOT a strong suit with this company! I have had several calls, sometimes several in one day from their number with no messages. I did finally get a message and it was very distressing to me. The person was angry and very abrupt, almost a threatening call. I was to immediately bring in an SD card from my CPAP or they would come get it. Today someone arrived to pick it up with no warning. I cannot understand why this company would allow someone to take and make calls when their ability to be kind and courteous is lacking! read more

I got a replacement CPAP from LinCare. They kept their appointment, and were fine to deal with. Nothing special ... nothing bad. Then, I had an issue with my prescription going to Phillips Respironics for the DreamStation recall. I was having trouble getting the replacement and needed LinCare to send my info to them. Very rude individuals, they act as though they are the most important thing going on. Never experienced a business like in a while. I'll be asking my Dr for a different reference as I wouldn't spend any other time with this company. No body deserves to be treated with as little respect as they have shown. read more

This company does not do customer service very well. It's been six months, every time they run into a snag, they stop the process. They will not contact the customer to let them know they need more info, or some hang up with insurance. I have found you must nag them to get service. Starting Monday, a retired person, me, with free time will be sitting in their front waiting room until I get answers as to what's going on. I think the problem is just possibly incompetence, but I will certainly update this post. I have a company I previously used called Betternight, that can provide this service without holdups. I honestly wish there were ZERO stars for this place. They are slow to return calls, waited five days so far. They were terribly slow getting me set up with a machine. Office is no help at all and the customer service Dept is even worse. I should have listened to all the different reviews I had found. Save yourself the stress and trouble by going somewhere else. read more

I provided all documentation necessary to this business to get a cpap machine. They have take more than three weeks to call my insurance company for an authorization (a simple 5-10 minute call). I am extremely dissatisfied with the services and could not possibly recommend them to anyone for any reason. read more

I wish there were zero stars or, better yet, negative stars, for this place. Customer service, from front desk, to the nurse, to the techs who show up at your house banging on the door, ringing the bell like the freakin SWAT team to "check" your machine. Ok, can we set up appointments for that, please?! This place is so unorganized or understaffed. It takes weeks to get in for a fitting of a CPAP. And if the CPAP mask isn't too your liking you have 30 days to exchange it, but it take longer than that to make an appointment. So you are out of luck and have to buy a new mask out of pocket. There is no detail review of the success or failure of the CPAP after a 7 day period. They never look at the data. Eventually they will send it to your doctor but then you have wasted six months without a good fitting CPAP and you were never told. I wish there was another location near by that I could use. They don't have to improve because if you live in the CDA or Hayden area they are the only option. read more

I also wish there was a zero rating for this company. After getting his c pap my husband could not wear the mask they gave him. Four months later and over 30 phone calls trying to get a different mask, lincare came and got the machine because he was not Medicare "compliant ". Now he has to start all over with a sleep test.
