I'm a Kaiser patient, and unfortunately my experience with Kaiser physical therapy did very little to improve the problem. I eventually went to another outside physical therapist who helped quite a bit more, but I still felt like I had plateaued and couldn't get myself back beyond about 90%. I found Longevity through Instagram and decided to take a chance. I generally hate going out of network because I'm already paying for health insurance and the additional cost can be hard to justify, but in this case I'm extremely glad I did. Gary specifically was a perfect fit for me. He was attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, and actually took the time to understand what was going on rather than just running me through a generic set of exercises. The experience was night and day compared with both Kaiser and the other physical therapy I had tried. Over time, Gary developed a program that got me back to well over 90%, but more importantly, got me moving, exercising, and working out again--which was exactly what I wanted from physical therapy. I also felt like I understood my back better and had a plan for continuing to improve rather than simply hoping the pain would go away. Their new Orange location is great too. The facility is really nice and the entire experience has been excellent. I almost wish I had more back problems so I could keep getting treated there. Almost :) I would absolutely recommend Longevity, and Gary in particular, to anyone who has gone through traditional physical therapy and feels like they've plateaued or aren't getting the individualized attention they need.

Dr. Gary resolved a nagging hip pain I've had on and off for years due to overuse. I've seen PT's in the past and they've all said the same things: "stretch your hip, work it out a little more, etc." and none of them every found the root cause. From the first session, I could tell Dr. Gary was different. He looked at my issue holistically and focused on the bad ankle on the same side as my bad hip. After that first session, I haven't had hip pain and for the remaining sessions we were able to focus on ankle mobility to resolve other issues related to it. Despite also working in the medical field, I still get a case of white-coat nerves around new doctors. I have a bulging disc in my L5-S1, and at the time, even walking hurt. Finding him was the turning point--not just for my physical health, but for how I approached investing in myself. Jason goes above and beyond in every session. He doesn't just crack your back and send you on your way. It's a deeply personalized mix of deep tissue work and chiropractic adjustment (no electric machines or cookie-cutter routines here). He listens, adjusts based on your body's feedback, and truly cares. Over time, he became more than just a chiropractor--he's been part healer, part therapist, and part miracle worker. I super appreciated how little I waited from the moment I got checked-in until I left the facility. The MA who took care of me from start to finish was a gold-star MA. She was not just efficient, but proficient with administering injections and venipuncture. I'm a hard stick and also used to train MAs and phlebotomists. I wholeheartedly wish every MAs are like her. I wish I remembered her name because she really deserves a shoutout. I don't know of any other Concentra that's as coordinated as this location because I was there for less than an hour for all that I needed done. The drug screening took very little to no time even when using the wonky eScreen. The physician came in very quickly to complete the physical itself once all the specimens were collected and the immunization were administered. Just for comparison, my previous experience at a different Concentra location took me a whopping 4.5hr for a visit completion. So I was fully expecting to be stuck there for hours too. Also, the facility is extremely clean and well kept. Parking is free and aplenty right in front of the entrance. Anyhow, if I ever have to get anything done related to occupational health again, I would definitely go out of my way to visit the Placentia location in the future.
