She added a couple of dainty appliques to the dress top for a more delicate flow, and adjusted the fit through the mid-section and hips. The dress looks and fits incredible. We had just finished wine tasting near Yakima and we wanted to do some shopping before dinner. A pet peeve of mine is that many stores on the east side of the state are not open after the wineries close (at 5 or 6pm) and closed on Sunday. I really don't get this, everyone needs a day off and time for church, but I wonder if the stores would be more successful if Monday was their day off instead of Sunday when the tourists are in town. Anyways, I digress, Gretchen was just closing at 5 pm and we drove up and she stayed open for us. I found a gorgeous knit dress in two seconds and ended up buying a great sweater for work and fabulous scarf in addition. Gretchen was so nice and easy to talk to as I looked through her tastful clothing. She suggested some items for me to try (really cute) and we talked about brands that we love.
