    Acai bowl mush
    X P.

First time here ,the avocado sandwich tasted bad. The red onion flavor in the sandwich was way too harsh. It overpowered all the ingredients and had a bad aftertaste too. The acai bowl was just watery mush and nothing like the photos advertised. For my first time here, the experience was not good at all. I came back though to try their drinks. They are on point and make me energized and healthy. So far my favorite one is the Green drink with cucumbers and kale. I feel there are not a lot of healthy options that are total vegan. This is one place that could satisfy.

    8. Soft Green Juice

Stopped by this place for a juice. You can taste the celery, bitter melon and cucumbers, but the sweetness from apple was not enough. Buy overall quality and price are good. Will return.

The "Daily Green" (it's actually orange though b/c of the carrots)

Giving this a review after coming here for a handful of times. First off, I'd like to say that I'm really glad there's something healthy like this in Flushing. Being a semi-health conscious eater and coming to this area frequently, it's great to have a fresh juice bar/smoothie place when you're not looking to drink bubble tea. (no hate on boba, I still love it) Secondly, this little establishment is primarily just a pick-up place. There's no seating area if you wanted to hang around. Leaf garden is a small open counter located in Arcadia Mall off of Main Street. Yesterday, I picked up a fresh juice called Daily Green on the menu (consists of apple, carrot, cucumber, ginger, and lemon) and it was refreshing and delightful. Ingredients were all fresh and definitely hit the spot. I only wish I had asked for ice to be put in the blender though because I like my drinks icy cold. Beyond just the drinks and smoothies, I've also had their healthy hearty chicken salad multiple times and I simply love it. It has everything you need if you're looking for something light but filling. What's in it? Spring mix, cubes of grilled chicken, egg, cherry tomato, corn, chickpeas and avocado. All the ingredients have been very fresh every time I ate it and satisfies me. Now this place isn't like other salad places like Sweetgreen or Chopt in NYC but it's enough for me. I also appreciate that the prices aren't ridiculously overpriced! Definitely try this place out if you're in the area to pick up a fresh juice or something as it's conveniently located and it's great for your body!

Shrimp salad with balsamic vinaigrette and soft green juice
    Tian S.

Refreshing salad near where I live, I asked for shrimp salad with soft green juice. The owner gave me large since she ran out of spinach. She replaced it with kale instead. Portion is enough for dinner. Veggies are fresh. Shrimp is over cooked so it's a bit rubbery. But overall it's great salad. Soft green juice is great and I would definitely come back again.

Great place for juice. $5.45 for a medium, friendly staff, and they don't water down your drink. Just a bit of ice on top of the veggies (I got a Deep Green with kale, spinach, celery, apple, cucumber, and lemon). Came back for an $8.00 healthy hearty chicken salad. FRESH--the salad greens were organic; you could TASTE the difference. :) Could use a seating area.

    "Make your own salad"
    Rosa C.

I was looking for a salad spot and Leaf Garden always popped up on yelp. I decided to give it a try. They have tons of options to choose from. I decided to "make your own salad". I ordered organic spring mix, cherry tomato, red onion, carrots, cucumbers and cage free chicken. I wanted to try a different type of dressing since I feel like I always chose the same old Italian, or oil & vinegar. So my choice of dressing was lemon parsley w/olive oil. I also added avocado too for additional charge. Since salads already come with the avocado but since I chose "make your own salad" the avocado was an additional charge. The salad was very good. It was good decent portion. Overall it was delicious but the only thing that bothered me was that they forgot to add the avocados. I paid extra for the avocado and once I got home there was no avocado to be found. (I should of checked before leaving)

    Herbal jelly dessert
    Solar H.

Though they're known for their salads, I usually stop by for their herbal jelly dessert. It comes with 3 toppings and extra evaporated milk if you want to add in. The sweetness of the red bean balances out the other toppings and jelly, since those don't have a very strong flavor. The taro mochi ball is probably my favorite topping. I've ordered from Lin Garden several times but never left a review so this is long overdue. I've ordered salad from them before as well, but that was quite a while ago since I don't have salads often. Overall a great spot with fresh ingredients and good portions!

I ordered the Healthy Hearty Chicken Salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette for $8 + tax.

Got me a healthy lunch today to make sure I shit all the bad stuff out, ya know? Thoughts: I ordered the Healthy Hearty Chicken Salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette for $8 + tax. It was fresh and tasted delish But dayum, eating healthy is expensive

    Avocado Veggie Salad
    Jay Q.

To be honest, I don't even like salad but the salad they make here was better than I expected. I've been here a few times already and it's now the only place I order from when I'm in the mood for some salad. Most of the salads on the menu are $8-9 before tax, but you can also customize your own salad with whatever they have starting from $7. I like the Avocado Veggie Salad w/ creamy sesame dressing so that's what I usually end up getting. They make the salads to order and it usually takes them around ~10 mins. Keep in mind the wait-time is going to be longer if you want grilled steak on your salad or something. Either way, I recommend calling in the order if you know what you want and don't like waiting. Especially since you'll likely just be standing around since the Mall/building removed all the benches they had there a while ago for whatever reason.

Organic spring mix and cherry tomatoes straight out of the container. One knife cuts everything

If you have any severe allergies or are vegan or can't eat a kind of meat, do not go here. If you care to read any of my other reasons to not go here, please take a seat and get cozy, as I have a whole lot to say. Let's start with their lack of preparation. I came in at 1:05pm and was going to originally order the grilled shrimp salad, but they were out of shrimp. My initial thought was "oh, ok, a lot of people must like the shrimp. Cool, whatever." So I ordered the grilled salmon salad with avocado (+$1) and paid $11.12 after checking in for 5% off. I was told there would be a 15-minute wait for my order and so I went outside and sat on the bus stop in front, as it was stuffy inside and there were no seats anywhere to wait. While waiting, I saw one of the three people working run outside to go into the supermarket across the street. She came back with bags of eggs, packages of vegetables, and a bag of shrimp. Cool. After I waited 15 minutes, I went back in to see if my order was ready. It was not. I decided to wait by the glass casing, in front of where all the salads are prepared. I really enjoy watching people slice vegetables, so I did this purely for entertainment. I stopped being entertained rather quickly, and instead was really, really disgusted. Everything came straight out of the packaging without being washed. The one person actually making the salads used the same knife to cut EVERYTHING!!! Chicken, bacon, apples, tomatoes, salmon...whatever! All cut by the same knife on the same area of the cutting board. (Side note: As disgusted as I was, I was still super impressed with the man's knife skills. Amazing.) All the protein is cooked on tiny panini press/George Foreman-kinda grills. I understand that not everything can be done with gloves. I don't really care about the whole wearing gloves thing, if your hands are washed and all you're touching is the food. But that was not the case. While wearing gloves, one girl was going on and touching everything. From money to opening up packages of things to whatever else she was doing, this girl was touching everrrryyyythhiiinnnnggg. Ok, so after all this, I finally get my salad. After waiting a total of 45 minutes. I hopped on a bus, and hoped that after all this, my salad would at least taste good. It was not. I just finished eating it and while they give a plentiful amount of salmon, it tasted gross. It was """seasoned""" with nothing but a whole lot of black pepper and the tiniest bit of salt. The ponzu sesame sauce just tasted like an asian vinaigrette. I hate posting bad reviews of small businesses and I really really really wanted to enjoy my salad, but as a broke ass college student that just shelled out $11 for this dumb salad... I think this place barely deserves 1 measly star. Thanks for reading, y'all. Get your salad elsewhere.

    Shrimp salad
    Cowcow Z.

Surprisingly good! I ordered the shrimp salad and hot herb jelly (with tapioca, sago, red beans) to go. Flavor profile, freshness, everything was on point. I really liked the house sauce that came with it, actually it was the highlight of the salad. But the reason why a star is taken off is because of the portion. I usually never finish my meals, but for this, I finished everything and still felt hungry. The portion itself is enough for a light meal but not a real entree. I also originally wanted to order the bowl (it was on the menu) but they said they didn't serve that because they don't have anything with rice. Then I opted for the steak salad but they said they also don't have steak at the moment. So I ended up with a shrimp salad which wasn't my first choice at all. And I'm also a big bubble tea fan because I love tapioca, but the tapioca on the herb jelly was not good. It was edible but not what I would call good tapioca. It had no flavor, it clumped together, and stuck to your teeth. I'd advise to opt for another topping.

Came here today & got the " Jamaica sunshine " juice, I couldn't believe there was no added sugar in it, it's delicious! I most definitely recommend this place to anyone who's in flushing looking for freshly squeezed juices & a great variety of them also :) will definitely try one of their salads my next time around!

The portions are generous enough that a single sandwich can genuinely feel like more than one meal's worth of food. The banh mi is the main reason to come, and the pork versions are where the kitchen shines most. We ordered the caramel pork, which is worth it. The meat is cut down into small pieces that pick up flavor throughout and create a layered bite alongside the pickled vegetables. The tofu banh mi holds up well as a vegetarian option and carries a gingery, carrot forward flavor that works. The bread leans toward a softer, thicker cut rather than the thin, crackling crust of a more traditional Vietnamese version, but it still holds the fillings well without getting soggy. Service is fast and the overall experience is quick. The staff moves efficiently and our order came out in good time, which makes it a reliable option for a workday lunch when you do not have much time to spare. The banh mi travels well if you are taking it to go, and the packaging keeps everything intact. It is a good spot for a filling, well priced lunch that does not require much planning beyond showing up. We would come back for the caramel pork banh mi and appreciate that we can be in and out without sacrificing quality or portion size. For a quick, satisfying Vietnamese sandwich in the area, JoJu delivers exactly what it promises.

Great deal and feels so good to get a substantial food item for $6 in NY these days. Really feels next to impossible in 2026. Upon receiving the sandwich, I went across the street and tried to eat it ASAP on the street as other people suggested. The sandwich felt really good in my hands as the bread had just come out. Chicken looked really good and I asked for it to be spicy. I took my first bite and it was pretty amazing. First thing I noticed was how flaky the bread was. Such a pleasant and satisfying texture. The chicken had a lot of flavor and I think there is some cabbage in there. I devoured the rest of the sandwich in about a minute and I was very happy. The sandwich is fairly substantial; might not be enough for a full meal for some people and I treated it more as an appetizer before I went elsewhere for a bowl of noodles.
