Gave it a shot bc it was next to David's bridal and had to go there for an errand. Owner did the job and it isn't too expensive but threading places are everywhere so definitely not a place I would return to or go out of my way. Environment didn't seem inviting. No music, no walk in welcome; it was just silence so kind of eerie and weird. She was the only one working. I had to ask for her to trim my brows after bc they are long and I just wanted a cleaner look. read more

Lin's is the fast food version of Ziba. It's significantly cheaper ($6.99) with virtually no wait -- you're in, you're out and you have amazing eyebrows. To all you Ziba purists, Lin's is basically what happened if girl threaders no. 8-14 left the joint to start a new place. To all of you wax/tweeze purists, threading is basically hair removal done by a thread. Between this and waxing, the only difference is that you don't remove a layer of skin and there is no redness afterwards. For most, it's not as painful as waxing or tweezing. read more

Lin is now located at the Rica Donna salon on St. College. I don't know her hours, but I usually go on Friday's and she's there. I stumbled upon her when she was at her location on Imperial Hwy. when I first walked in, I have to admit, the place was a little sketch but I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did! I used to go to eyebrow beauty but I got tired of the wait (even with an appointment). Now, Lin is the only one I want to shape my eyebrows! I have naturally thinish brows but she makes them look amazing! The arch, the shape are all A+ and makes filling them in so easy. I highly recommend her. read more

I signed up to Yelp just go give feedback on Lin Beauty Salon. I've tried a few different threading salons and this was the WORST thus far. I recently moved to Brea and was excited to see this salon so close to home. So today I decided to give it a try. I went in with my bushy eyebrows and arrived to an empty salon with two workers. Both where busy so I put my name on the list and was looking around trying to find prices, information etc. Nothing was posted... No big deal, I would just ask before they sat me down. 5 minutes later I was called up, not bad, usually I wait 10-15 minutes before it's my turn to get threaded. So far so good. I asked how much eyebrow threading is she said $7, wow, that's a good deal. So I sat down and the girl started threading. no more than 3 minutes later she was done and she hands me the mirror. Great.... my eyebrows look uneven, she missed a few spots and didn't clip them to make them look clean. So I ask her to fix it, she looks at me funny and asks what to fix. I point out what to fix and she says oh yes, you're right, I'll fix it. Why does it feel like I know more about how eyebrows should look than she does?... Ok... scared... 30 second later she hands me the mirror again. Not much better- at all.. One eyebrow is rounded the other is pointy... So, decide I want to get out of there as fast as possible before my eyebrows get worse. I pay her the $7, which is not much of a deal anymore. And for some crazy reason I still tip her. I feel bad not tipping.... dumb, dumb me... I see other good reviews here, maybe it was a fluke and it happened to happen to me. But honestly, I would rather drive to Artesia or Costa Mesa and pay a few more bucks for pretty, even brows and to have a real professional touch my brows. I'm glad I have 2 months until my wedding, as I can get them fixed. But this is the last time I visit this place... read more

I really like this place. You can usually get in and out and the prices are very good ( $7 for eyebrows, $4 for upper lip). I've always had a very good experience no matter who took care of me. The ladies here are very respectful and not in your face. read more

Thanks to Lin Beauty, I don't have to drive from North OC to Diamond Bar or Artesia to get my brows yanked. They specialize in eyebrow threading (and other kinds of threading, e.g., upper lip) and the sign outside says "$6.99 Eyebrow Threading." Funny, I never get a penny with my change. Lin herself is there on most days, she is very popular so I've only had the pleasure of her threading once. Everyone else who threads is just great too so it really doesn't matter who you get. Everytime I go I see someone new who's threading so I'm not consistently going to the same threader but still getting the same satisfying results. No unibrow!! read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done here for three years. I've always had a great experience. The girls here a friendly and know how to shape my brows. Never too thin or too think. Just right. Lin is fabulous! Great service. read more

I go here for everything! Started with eyebrow threading only, then eyebrow and lip threading. Next I tried root color. I am so happy with the way Lin does my hairmassage shampoo, I got so satisfied, from then on I started going twice a week for my hair shampoo and blow dry. Now she even does my highlights and hair color every month. So on Wednesdays and Saturdays you'll see me there. To top it all she now does my facial too! read more

My first impression of this eyebrow salon was just okay. It was a Sat afternoon and there were 3 other ladies getting their brows done & 2 other clients waiting to be helped. I signed in on the waiting list on the counter & prepared myself to wait at least 30 minutes. To my surprise, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Pretty good I thought. But I couldn't say the same for my brows. She didn't take as much time on them as I would've liked. Literally like 5 minutes which is the average time spent on each client. I've been to similar salons that spend 20-30 minutes on you for almost the same price. All she did was clean up my brows. No shaping or thinning. Nothing. I think this is the place I will frequent when I need a quick clean up but definitely not the best place that I have been too. I guess you get what you pay for... Pros: The price is right. Only $6.99! :) Salon is bright & clean. Quick & friendly service. Cons: Not enough time & detail spent with client. Girls do tend to talk in a foreign language a little too much. I didn't care for how close together the threading chairs were. A little too close for comfort. No privacy or personal space. Kinda weird I thought but maybe it's just me... read more

I stop by here every other month or so, when I don't get the chance to go to my regular salon. It's cheaper than my usual place, but I get inconsistent results. One time I even asked for them to make one of eyebrows more narrow and the lady insisted it was even. When I finally got her to work on it a bit more, the brow was CLEARLY not even with the other. I spoke to the girl up front (she's the youngest one) and she apologized. Since then, the results have been fine. read more

Lin the owner and supposedly the best threader in the salon did a horrible job with my teen daughter and son. I sent them over by themselves and they both came back with thin, unnatural eyebrows. She is outdated and I won't be taking my daughter or son back. read more

Lin is the ONLY person I ever trust doing my eyebrows. I've been going to her for 6 years now and she knows exactly what I want! I highly suggest going here! You won't regret it! read more

I've visited Lin's three times & had a different person each time. The first 2 threaders were acceptable but the last 1 was terrible. I don't know if she was in training or what, but she shredded off the first layer of the skin on my eye. Yes, instead of grabbing just the eyebrow hairs, she also grabbed my skin. And I was definitely holding my skin tightly. I left there with pink raw skin that scabbed & flaked over the next week. Needless to say, I never returned back after that incident. Unfortunate because their prices are low & I never had to wait more than 5 minutes as a walk-in, plus they are minutes away from my house. read more

Located near Brea Mall, Lin's Beauty Salon is convenient for eyebrow threading and get the job done. Like others have said, I've sometimes had inconsistent results but in general, they're fine. I usually go during my lunch hour and am in and out within 15 minutes. You have to specify what you want with them sometimes (More of an arch, thinner, etc), otherwise they'll basically just clean up the area. Not amazing, but good. One thing I did appreciate was that I accidentally included a $10 bill instead of a $1 without realizing it. The lady could have kept it but called me back as I was walking out the door to let me know. read more

This place should be renamed as "Eyebrow Threading Salon" because I've never seen them do anything else but that. I get inconsistent results everytime but for $6.99 you can't expect them to come out like Anastasia quality right? There's one girl that is a bit rough with the thread, she's one of the youngest of the ladies. Overall, it's cheap but very inconsistent so be sure to get the name of the person that does your eyebrows and if they do a good job, ask for them by name. read more

I finally found where i belong! I started coming here over 6 years ago and I will never go anyhere else! I Always ask for #3 her name is Rashna, and shes absolutly amazing! She has a great eye for the shape your eyebrows should be and is very quick so its pretty painless! I don't think i'll ever go anywhere else!! read more

Bought a Groupon here and upon arrival I immediately regretted it. The salon seems almost vacant and pretty run down. The back room for waxing feels a little scary. I cannot recommend this place. read more

I second what Jinra I. stated about this place. Cheap and quick. A little dirty inside and lots of loud conversation going on, but hey the girl got the job done! I will most likely come back in a pinch again. read more

I like to come to Lin Beauty because of the price, and because of consistency. I know that who ever is working will do a great job. They only have a few people working, and they have all done a great job on my brows. It is also cheaper than other salons. The place is not glitzy like the other best rated place Sameera's, but I have received better results from Lin. Sameera always has random people, and I never know what I am going to get with them. Lin Beauty salon is reliable, and better priced. read more

I've been coming to Lin for my eyebrows now for 6 years. I wouldn't have it any other way. By the way Lin is the owner of the business and she works on Mondays only so, if you want the best go on Monday! It's 6.99 for the eyebrow threading and upper lip is 4$ and I always tip because she is simply amazing! She won't mess up your eyebrows as all of us know that is a key feature to our faces I put 100% of trust into Lin when she does my eyebrows! Check out Lin on Mondays open conveniently until 7, you won't be disappointed :) read more

Great place to get quick threading. It's never been crowded for me. I always request station #5, she's older and seems to be more gentle. I've always been satisfied with my eyebrows and you can't beat $7! read more

I took my 12 year old daughter in to get her eyebrows fixed and our beautician was so sweet to my daughter and she worked as gently as she could. My daughter cried a little but she got the work done very nicely. read more

I took myself and my little sister and she did so terrible. She made my sister's eyebrows so thin you could barely see them and gave me (a guy with bushy eyebrows) a thin little little arch of an eyebrow. Please do not come here I can not explain how terrible she did. read more

I've been coming here for over 5 years now and I am always happy with my eyebrows. Its always quick, but they take their time making sure it looks good. I love how they have a stamp card and on your 10th one, you get one free! read more

Been coming here for years. Let me tell you I am super picky, especially when it comes to my brows. #2 is the best!

I've been going here for 12 years alternating between brea and artesia but lately they've messing my eyebrows up every time I go. today was the last straw my eyebrows don't look like sisters they look like 3rd cousins. it's horrible, horrible! it took me so long to grow them out just to be messed up in two minutes this has been the worst they have looked and it's the last straw I'm taking my money elsewhere read more
