I chose Flat Creek Inn primarily because of its location, which was excellent and very convenient…read morefor exploring the Jackson area. Unfortunately, the stay itself was disappointing, especially considering the price. The room felt dated and in need of maintenance. The bedding was old and worn, and the shower floor felt soft and unstable, almost like you could fall through it. Several bathroom tiles were coming loose as well. The curtains didn't close all the way, making it difficult to block out light and maintain privacy. Noise and building movement were also issues. Every time someone walked past our room, the entire room seemed to shake, which made it hard to relax. The room did include a mini-fridge, which was appreciated. The inn also offers complimentary snacks and hot beverages at the mart. While the gesture was nice, the snacks consisted of prepackaged rolls that were not very good. The tea selection was surprisingly excellent, but the coffee was disappointing. Another downside was the pricing at the mart, where everything seemed extremely overpriced. We also attempted to fill up with gas before leaving, but the pumps were not working. Overall, the location is the best thing this property has going for it. Given the condition of the room and the price charged, I would not stay here again and would look for other options in the area.

He was punctual, personable, and genuinely polite, qualities that seem rare these days. What really set Steve apart was his incredible knowledge of the area. Rather than sticking to the usual tourist spots, he went out of his way to recommend hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path local places that I never would have found on my own. His recommendations were spot on, and I felt like I was getting an authentic local experience! Highly recommend!!

Absolute Bait-and-Switch. Unethical and Dishonest Practices…read more After 30 years of booking hundreds of executive and personal car services worldwide, I have never encountered an operation as unprofessional or unethical as United Car Service of Jackson Hole. For our family vacation departure on Monday, we booked an 8:15 AM ride to the airport. When making the reservation, I specifically verified their 24-hour cancellation policy--a terms-of-service clause explicitly confirmed verbally and printed directly on the digital Square payment link they sent me. Due to a schedule change, I called to cancel on Saturday evening--well over 36 hours in advance of our scheduled pickup. Instead of processing the cancellation, the representative hostilely informed me that they have a "48-hour policy" and would be keeping 50% of the fare. Even after I sent him a screenshot of their own live payment link explicitly stating a 24-hour policy, he flatly refused to honor his own company's written terms. Realizing I was dealing with a bad-faith operator, I ended the call and immediately turned the charge over to American Express Platinum customer service to dispute. Jackson Hole has limited transport options, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. A business that blatantly lies about its own written policies cannot be trusted with your logistics.
