The drivers were so friendly and patient - we told them times to be at our pick-up locations and they did not have a problem waiting for us when we were running late. After our ceremony they even put out a red carpet for us to get into the limo! Our only small complaint was that our six person limo did smell a bit funky. It also stated that if I book a ride online, my bill would be reduced by 15%. I booked online on Saturday for a taxi needed Tuesday at 1:00. By 1:00 on Monday, I hadn't heard from them so I called. They hadn't seen my request because their website or internet was down. I was told that my taxi would arrive by 1:00 on Tuesday and my 15% off would be honored.By 1:15 no taxi arrived. I called and Z****** said he would pick me up right away. He showed up in a black SUV. He was very nice and polite. I asked to go to Terminal 2, Sun Country. He drove me to Terminal 1, then apologized and took me to Terminal 2. I was a little anxious because I expected to get there earlier but it all worked out. Then he told me that with my 15% discount my fee would be $50. I didn't expect it to be that high but just paid it. When I returned to Minneapolis/St. Paul at Terminal 2, I called Uber. The charge was $26. I will never use the Apple Valley Airport Taxi again.

But what impressed me the most was how he handled one customer in particular. This person, first of all, apologized to the rest of us for holding up the trip because she was late and there were a lot of last minute things she needed to take care of with Michael. She also told us that she is moving to another state. She had another friend with her that drove her to the pick-up spot, and she looked noticeably distraught. In fact, they both did, which apparently was because they were saying goodbye to each other. We were ready to leave, but Michael paused and turned to this person and asked if she would like to say goodbye to her friend one more time. She asked Michael if that would be ok, and he replied yes, that we have some time in the schedule. She took the opportunity, and got off the shuttle, and she and her friend immediately hugged and sobbed loudly on each other's shoulders. Upon seeing this, I heard one of the customers in the back say, "now they're going to make me cry." Honestly, I was tearing up too when I saw this sensitive moment. After a few minutes, we finally left. The drive itself went well with no problems. I was the last to be dropped off, and I told Michael that what he did was a very nice thing. All the other passengers were watching from inside the van and saying the scene was so touching that makes them all want to cry too! I was told that I'll have an account opened in my name and credit will be issued. I disagreed that was a good idea and was told my request would be "passed to corporate." The only credit I can give the company is that "corporate" called me and stated that my credit can be used for 12 months from today. I stated that I disagreed with this policy and do not plan to use this credit. I don't understand how they can justify this. Drivers won't be clocking in tomorrow, no gas is being used on these shuttles, and I'm not just scrambling to change my travel plans, I'm baffled that a small business in the Midwest would think non-refundable is the way to go when THEY decide to cancel the shuttle. Read the other reviews below because I'm not the only person who's been in this position. I'm not planning to travel again on Land to Air again and they can keep the "credit" on my account. I've had my money's worth sharing my experience honestly. Get a friend to drive you to the airport instead!
