Why in the world would anyone be interested in purchasing anything else from a company that can't deliver what you are currently paying for. Value for your money? I would recommend going to Sam's Club or Costco and purchasing an industrial size case of Vaseline beforehand, because this company will stick it to you. The only thing Mediacom has consistently proven to have is lousy customer service, long waits for any service call or repair, intermittent service. When you mention to customer service that they need to credit or reimburse you for the service you paid for but didn't receive, no attempt is ever made to credit your account or reimburse you. I called today to be assisted activating it. Now both the original person and the person today confirmed that it was free and no charge cause I asked the person today and he said yes there's no charge at all ever. So I had to call back 55 minutes later because it would not connect. It was red and the lady made a comment that it was free for the first 90 days and then I would be charged and I told her that's not what the first two people said and she said I'm sorry but after 90 days there's a charge I said send me a label and I'll send it back. Mediacom cannot get their story straight and they cannot keep the Internet connected. I've had a cable running from one house to two houses down outside of my house for the last three months. It's ridiculous. They are the worst Internet cable service in this country.
