i was literally homeless when they made my tax situation far worse then it should have been. i…read moreshould have paid maybe $1000-2000 maybe in taxes. instead i paid about $30000 in federal and about $8000 in state taxes in 2017 i got a letter from the irs stating i owed money from selling personal things on ebay. i hired them to file taxes in a way this was not for profit, i shouldnt have to pay taxes on personal items with money thats already been taxed. she filed my taxes for me. 1 year later i got the same letter. i let them know i got the letter, she told me to bring that letter in, i dropped it off to the front secretary because she was busy when i came in. over the phone she told me she would take care of it. another year passed and i got the letter again. she asked me to drop it off, i told her "i already did that and nothing happened" at that point i gave up on her even tho i already paid for this service to make things worse for me. i called about 20 other accountants to help me, no one would help me literally with this old tax issue. they all wanted me to have receipts. after 2 years i dont have that and they never asked me at a time i would have. i tried calling the irs which was an estimated 2 hour wait. they too couldnt help. the guy told me (ill never for get this) "yea you just gotta pay. theres nothing you can do". the state never answered their phone once out of about 50 calls i made. their voice mail states they will return your call if you leave a voice mail which they never do. after 8 years they sent me a final levy notice (meaning at this point they will confiscate everything i have) i paid this off because my mom actually gave me the money. my final payment was $19000, plus payments i made before, i probably paid $30,000 in taxes from a time i was homeless. i couldnt find this company because they moved. but i so happen to come across emails we exchanged. one that stated "i am going thru a move" which was the homeless part i was talking about. how does a homeless person need to pay nearly $40,000 in 2017 taxes? i never made over $15,000 that year and the year before. with the help of this company, thats what youll get. and whats funny is, i paid to make this worse

Dif location & the names changed since 1858 - 1969, but EPIC right! This isn't even my bank (my parents love it tho) yet they had the best offer for me at the car dealership at about 7% APR for 72 months. I was mailed coupon books that had a pay slip for each month so I'd take that to the bank monthly & pay my loan and then some (whatever extra i could add to pay it off faster). There's a 10 day grace period before a late fee, So generous! The bank is conveniently located in the beginning of Kapolei Shopping Center across McD's. Open M-F 8:30am - 4pm, Sat 9am -1pm. The layout is nice and spacious. To the right is Account Specialist, to the left is a waiting area. Past that is the Bank Tellers. There's a cubicle for business members, who will also take regular members when there's no one in that line. The ATM outside takes deposits too. The tellers are friendly and quick. Some of them remembered me even tho I came in just once a month. The line is much longer on weekends and late afternoons so best if you can make it in earlier on weekdays. My great 5 stars 5 years experience came from friendly tellers, convenient location & ways to pay, low APR & 9-1 Sat. hours. Drawback can be long lines, esp. Sat, but that's w/any bank! Tip: if you wanna pay off your loan faster (to lessen the interest you end up paying & be free sooner), pay any add'l amount you can over the minimum payment & tell them apply it to the principal (otherwise it'll go towards your next months payment).
