I booked over the phone in advance, drove my 20ft Uhaul across the US, and arrived to find a lock on my unit. I walked over to the office, thinking that they might keep the units locked for security. Max hopped up to help, because he though it was open and ready for me. Seems an old tenant came by and put a lock on. Max drove 30 minutes away to get a file to take the lock off, and even then, me and my movers couldn't get the door open (Max tried and even called someone for help). To save time so I could return my Uhaul on time, Max found me two 10x20s (I only ended up needing one) and my movers unloaded everything into it. Max offered to move everything into my 10x30 the next day when they fixed the door (turns out a piece of metal from the lock had somehow blocked the lock, but none of us could see it). I decided to just keep the 10x20, since everything fit just fine, and Max adjusted my invoice to reflect the difference in price. THINGS HAPPEN. Excellent service and a can-do attitude are the best solution a company can offer. I couldn't have asked for more and am very happy to have my things stored here.

I called to confirm the location the morning of and the worker confirmed the number and location of unit. Hours later our movers showed up and it was the wrong size unit and our stuff would not fit. My husband , myself and some family members all tried . I called every 2 minutes for hours my husband drove to the office and the sign said working at a different location ( NO ADDRESS given) but the same phone number we had been calling. Our movers were able to find a solution. I continued to call and leave messages every few minutes ( not exaggerating I was furious and wanted my money back) I tried for 2.5 days before I finally was in contact with someone over the Facebook page. Which one of the workers responded on their personal page very rudely and unprofessional. They tried to say that I was lying and I replied I would be very happy to provide my phone records. That's when I'm not sure if that person switched over to the halls Facebook account to reply or someone else saw her behavior and they replied that someone will call me shortly to resolve it . Well hours later no one called ( even though at least one worker was able to respond on Facebook back and fourth) she wasn't able to use the phone I guess . Hours later I called a different location and was finally able to get my money back! But all in all I was lucky my movers found a place big enough for my stuff but I had to pay for 2 extra hours of my movers because of this!!!

I was moving to…read moreBrooklyn for the next two years and insurance for my car was going to be ridiculous, so I got the great idea to store it in Maine until the two years were up. I took my car to the storage unit and we tried to fit it in but no luck. Chandra apologized profusely and worked with me about half an hour after their closing time (in the rain) to figure out a solution. She decided to hold onto the vehicle until one of their other units opened up, with no charge to me, and move the vehicle into the unit for me. I know, I know - this should be expected. But how often do you get excellent service when you really should? So they called a few days later (I was already in Brooklyn) to let me know my car was in a unit and I could come pick up the keys. I had to be in Maine for business again the next week, so I arrived around 7:30 because I had to be to work at 8am, not realizing they don't open until 8am. One woman that worked there (I am sorry I don't know her name) showed up around 7:45 am and opened the doors for me. She recognized me even though I had never met her and asked if I wanted my spare key back. I told her I needed to get my car serviced and asked if I could leave my rental car at their office until I could get a ride back to pick it up. They said it was not a problem, to leave my car as long as necessary. It is so hard to get good service now, even when you expect that you should get it. I have no complaints about Broadway Self Storage, they have amazing customer service.

Now we can all breath a sigh of relief and take a nice warm shower! Greatly appreciated. **ORIGINAL** I called around to see if I could get delivery during the week. I spoke with Kayla on Tuesday evening who gave wonderful advice and said that I could put diesel in my indoor tank to get me through until a delivery could be made. She said she had space on Friday. I called and left a voicemail for Kayla early Wednesday morning and sent an email to the general mailbox (just in case) to schedule the delivery. Kayla called me back shortly after she received my message and said that she could still fit me in on Friday and added me to the schedule (hooray!). Once scheduled, I called and cancelled my order with another company that was going to try to deliver on Friday, but would definitely be able to deliver by Monday. A couple of hours later, I received an email from Stephanie that said that there was no room until Tuesday; I disregarded it because I had already scheduled the delivery with Kayla and I knew they must be super busy and just had lines crossed. Stephanie then called at the end of the day to apologize for taking so long to call and I assured her it was ok. I told her I spoke Kayla earlier regarding scheduling and that I was scheduled for Friday. ....fast forward to Friday... I started to worry around 3 and left a voicemail for Kayla. She called me back shortly after and said that the drivers were out until 6pm and not to worry.... I had not received the delivery and called at 6:30pm and left a message. Kayla called back and said the driver was actually out until 9pm and that she would check with dispatch. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back, and we didn't get our delivery. I went to the gas station last night and got $45 worth of diesel to add to our tank because the last thing I want is for our pipes to freeze or my son to be cold. I'm just disappointed. I don't know what to do now. I cancelled the guaranteed delivery for Monday from the other company, and will go broke adding diesel for the next 2 weeks until we can get a delivery. I have read so many wonderful stories and reviews about this company, and know mistakes and oversights happen. I will update my review next week because I believe that great customer service can be defined by how a company responds to issues and takes ownership of mistakes. Stay tuned...
