    SEASON 31

Enjoyed BIG FISH at this gem of a theater in the city of St Augustine. Great job Sherrie Provence as the director of this musical, and I looked over the other shows for your 31st season...I like the selections. All the actors did a superb job. clever sets and the band was great.

Wonderful performances of Parade! Very nice inside. Amazing venue in the uptown st Augustine area. I had no idea it was even there until I saw the advertisement. Highly recommend seeing their shows. Wonderful actors and singing. Comfortable seating.

A local…read moreJacksonville comedian told three true stories which none of the improv team had heard prior. After each story the improv team acted out the story. The improv team had the audience laughing, me included, throughout the show. I loved the originality of the show as I expected it would be an audience participation event. But was slightly relieved that it was not;) Amy, the host, and the rest of the team had an infectious energy which spilled over into the audience! If you have never been to an improv I highly recommend checking out Third Space! Bonus, they have a parking lot so you don't have drive around for 30 minutes to find a spot in St Augustine! Another bonus, the ticket prices are reasonable and you will not find a better price for adult and other beverages. They also sell popcorn and other snacks. Laughter is good for the soul, so check out their website and book your next comedy adventure.

Seems hard to believe that these comedians say they have been doing comedy for a long time yet, they just tell stories that go nowhere or have any punch line. At the beginning of the show, microphones were not working. The MC was really bad and again had no jokes to deliver. Not worth the price to get in. Almost walked out if it wasn't for the last comedian. Overall, experience was horrible and not worth it. Not returning. First impressions are everything and again, not worth a second time. If it hadn't been the last comic being a little better, we would have walked out.

Yes, it's a little expensive but totally worth the experience. From the minute we walked into the beautiful Casa Monica Hotel in Saint Augustine, we knew we were in for a special treat. Before the show starts you are treated to a drink of your choice while Bill walks around & does a trick or two while introducing himself. His sweet and attractive assistant keeps everything running smoothly from the minute you check in until the minute you're ushered into an intimate room with velvet curtains and small cabaret style tables with lighted crystal balls. Bill gets everyone involved in the show and some form or another. Each trick is absolutely amazing and his show leaves you wondering how did he do that? Well, it's magic!

If you're in St. Aug, there is nothing that I'd recommend more, and which delivers more wonder and amazement than the Magic Hideaway. There are a lot of great things to do and see in city, but nothing compares to this gem! You will not be disappointed, and like us, you'll probably return with more friends and family - Bill is a local treasure for sure!

One thing I love about this venue is their free shuttle system that takes you to your car (which is free parking) during the concerts. The venue is on the smaller side so it feels more intimate for the artists. There are a few areas where seating is obstructed but they do mention that when buying tickets. One tough thing about this venue is the merch line usually tends to get MASSIVE and I have seen people miss a handful of songs while waiting in it if an artist takes the stage. Bathrooms are usually clean but they are scattered around so you may need to hunt for them. Drink prices are pretty reasonable and they usually have a drink of the night that is slightly discounted. They also have a reusable cup that you can bring throughout the night for a couple dollars off refills!

There's a large canopy that covers the lower seating area, as well as the pit, but the rows farther back are uncovered. I enjoyed my spot in the lower seats because that canopy makes all the difference in the FL sun. The stage & venue aren't the biggest so that gives it a more intimate feel which was nice. It'll still fit in well over 4,000 people, though, so you can catch some big names here. The merch lines definitely build up so that's unfortunate, but they're handled efficiently. Prices at the concessions aren't too bad, they're actually on the cheaper side compared to some of the places I go for concerts/events. There were also a good handful of water fountains throughout. One of my favorite things about this place is that it's essentially located in Anastasia State Park so it's surrounded by nature. The beachfront is only a few miles away so it's nothing short of beautiful. The employees were friendly which always adds to the experience. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing another concert here soon.
