We were semi-self service in the restaurant because it was only 1 person working in the front. I felt really bad for him. He took sometime to order and brought the food out. Nevertheless the food was good. The mussels were flavorful. The sauce was white-wine base. Very unique. It came with the garlic bread on the side. I highly recommend to try. The wings are tender and juicy inside, good texture, not dry. Many tables and seats inside. Bathroom is ok. Street parking. Overall a good place to watch sports and get rowdy with tasty food.

Tap 24 was the one that had dining area right in front of the entrance with huge large glass window, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful summer day while dining. The dining space was not as big as regular restaurants, few tables in front for larger groups and smaller ones were further inside across the bar. The bar huge though where most people hung out. They also had a game viewing area in the back. But though out the place there were several TVs that had the game on. The menu had plenty of popular American style dishes. I got to try the chicken wings and mussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. My friends loved their sandwiches and salmon dishes as well. All the dishes were served within a short wait time. The bartender was serving our table as well. He did really good job. We had a wonderful time hanging out with everyone while dining and watching the game.

It's been over 10 years since I was here, and it's still got the same spirit and a continental menu…read morethat features popular foods. The space is pretty large. The bar has a good mix of sports being broadcast on TVs. I could watch live hockey, basketball and baseball easily. It's a solid place to grab some comfort food and drinks. The fish & chips plate is respectable; has 3 good-sized fillets with a nice rémoulade sauce. I found the caesar salad to be decent and when requested that dressing and cheese come on the side, it was no problem. The famous kennett square mushroom soup is too intense. Strong portobello mushrooms dominate and concentrated truffle oil only increases this, doesn't offer any counterbalance. Staffers are friendly.

The only thing that really WOWED me was the butter that came with the croissant. I can eat that whole thing by itself. Very creamy with a hint of zest. Yum! As far as the croissants was concerned, some tasted like it was stale. The pork schnitzel (4/5) entrée was pretty good. I didn't care for the sausage and gravy topping though. Would've been better without it. Anyway, the mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and airy. The greens were garlicky and kind of salty. Grilled chicken Caesar (2.5/5) salad was okay. The dressing lacked in a lot of ways. More citrusy and less saltiness from anchovies. The mushroom bisque was a little grainy. Would I care for coming back? Maybe. Not anytime soon though.

320 Market Café - Pico Nachos with tater tots

We happened to be in Media for a late morning checking out the Free Shop for the very first time, a…read moreplace I had never heard about when we decided that a bite ti eat was necessary before heading up to the Glen Mills area for my younger daughter's haircut. After walking down State for about a block, we settled on 320 as a good place to stop to get something that would be tasty but also quick enough to get us in and out the door in enough time to be on our way but also provide a wide enough selection for the three of us to select something that we each wanted. Being fans of 320 Market in Swarthmore, I was used to this place when we went inside, although it is markedly different from the location that we usually go to. The space is a little bit more sparse and feels less like a market than the one in Swarthmore, but the staff is still nice, and the colors are bright, and the selections are still wide and vary across the spectrum of flavors enough to make everyone happy. I ordered pierogis at the counter as did my daughter, and my wife ordered spanakopita and then we were told to take a seat anywhere we liked. I do know that they obviously had to prepare everything fresh which is one reason that we like 320, but I also know, the spanakopita is coming from a much larger sheet and the pierogis only have to be fried and plated. For some reason things were taking an extremely long amount of time. The spanakopita came out relatively quick but was a little cold in the center. Still tasted delicious, but not ideal. However, the pierogis took forever. Not sure why because this was prime lunch time, around 11:30 and they weren't busy. Either way, when they did come out, they were played brilliantly, but I had to ask the wonderful guy at the counter to put them into containers so that my daughter and I could take them with us due to our fine constraints. He was more than happy to help and did his best to arrange them nicely in the containers, but for some reason the manager seemed to have a problem with the fact we ordered them to sit down and then asked to have them put into containers. He protested to some extent, albeit not directly to me, but when I looked in his direction alarmedly (which I'm not sure is even a word, lol) he simply stopped and went back to his other conversation). Even after our fifteen minute drive, the pierogis were superb and obviously made by hand from scratch. While I do like the other 320 Market location better and go there much more frequently just based on proximity to my home, this one was also good. I would go here again, and if you are in Media and need a good place for well-made delicious foods and interesting beer and wine that you won't find anywhere else, this is definitely your spot to go. There are many different choices of restaurants in Media to select from, but this is one place that is set up a bit differently, more like a "market" as described in its name. Go and check them out if you've never been, I bet there's something there that you'll enjoy!

The wings were packed with flavor and had a great kick, and the tofu sandwich was fresh, filling, and really well done. The service is quick and friendly, and there's a cool mix of offerings--plenty of fresh, made-to-order options, plus take-home meals if you're in a rush. The pizza smelled amazing as soon as we walked in, so that's definitely on our list to try next time. They also carry a smaller selection of fresh produce and grocery items, along with a bunch of unique snack choices you won't find just anywhere. Perfect place for a quick bite, a fun snack haul, or to grab something easy for later. We'll definitely be back!

The bar tender kept saying that they just tapped those kegs but what he meant is that the kegs 'kicked' as they were no longer available. Our flights were ok but not the best craft beer I've tried. For the tiny location that is tucked away off of Old State in Media, there is so much more space in here than one would expect when looking from the outside. We were actually seated at first, but already had dinner plans for a bit later in the evening so moved to the bar area, which we had a little bit of trouble finding at first, but was OBVIOUS once we realized where it was located within the building. Everyone was wonderful and the place was pretty busy for as early in the evening that we arrived, and each person we encountered was great, including Ryan behind the bar where we eventually settled. He was quick with our beer order; me settling with an Oktoberfest, another of us with a nitro porter, and yet another with an Orange crush, as well as a nice heaping plate of sweet potato fries that were perfectly crisp, salted impeccably, and served piping hot...possibly some of the best I've had in the area The beer was outstanding, with the nitro porter easily being the star of the drink order. However, neither of the others were any slouch, and everything came quickly, with the staff very keen on our requests due to our reservations elsewhere later on. Having been in the area for several years now and frequenting Media, I likely should have come here far earlier and many more times by now, although it simply hadn't happened yet. This will definitely be a place that I will be returning to for a full meal, a few flights and some other drinks so that I can fully experience their offerings beyond what I can find in stores close to me. If you are in Media and want some barbecue and tasty, fresh, local brews, do not pass up the Stirling Pig.
