I already made a follow up appointment with her for next week before I leave the area in the hopes she can work out a few more kinks. She's probably the best masseuse that has ever worked on me. She uses an integrated approach with aromatherapy, range-of-motion exercises, anti-gravity stretching, and hot stone massage in addition to extraordinary deep muscle technique. One other thing I appreciate about Joell is that she doesn't talk too much -- sounds funny to say but it's important! This is not the case with all therapists sadly- sometimes it's hard to relax when the therapist goes on and on about themselves. Refreshingly she does not. A couple days after my first session, she mailed a personalized "Thank You" card to our home, detailing a special offer for any referrals, along with a couple business cards. We were very charmed by this. This was about a year ago and since then both my spouse and I go see her for regular sessions. We will continue to go as long as she continues her practice.
