The only negative thing I can say about this is that she is no longer in Roy and I now have to drive from Roy to Clearfield. She's now in a shop that better fits their needs! I had Tatum for a great massage. Before the massage she was very clear on asking what areas I wanted focused. I didn't have any specific ailments so I just mentioned a few places and didn't give specific direction. In the absence of requesting a certain massage style, Tatum's preferred method seems to be moving down the muscle very slowly with firm pressure using either her forearms or the heel of her palm - so if that's not your favorite you should request a different style. My daughter and I made appoints with Willow Bow. Making the appointments was the first impressive part of our experience. They were so kind and accommodating! We both got great massages. My daughter told me after her massage that she couldn't remember feeling that good in a long time. Their beds are very comfy too! I liked the pillow they used for under your ankles and feet. The most fantastic massage. I chose this particular massage establishment because of the about section on their page, as it focused on pain relief, and Tatum specifically said she preferred "deep therapeutic work". I spoke with her about what my issues are-I have hip dysplasia and am not used to trail running, since I'm from Illinois. I run mid-long distance and when I come to Utah I always overestimate my capability to run on the beautiful trails. So I ran a few days ago and have been having sciatic and leg pain since then. Within 5 minutes of the massage the pain, which had been constant, was gone. It was very deep tissue, which I have trouble finding. As an athlete I appreciate this. She also seems to be able to recognized other issues and address them as well. I will be returning when I visit Utah again in a few months. Thanks so much!! read more
