Susan took me back to my room, and told me that the massage table had a red light feature and asked if I would like her to turn it on. I said sure! That would be great, thanks. Nothing else was mentioned and she flipped the switch to turn it on. She then left, I got undressed, and got onto the bed to wait for my massage. Halfway through the massage, she told me she was going to use cupping on my upper back because it was tight. I said okay. Susan never once mentioned it was an additional cost. Later, as I am up at the front desk checking out, (for the first time) she mentions that the red light on the bed and the cupping were an additional $30 combined. I was very confused, and said "I didn't know that those things were an additional cost." She replied and said "I know, I didn't mention it." Needless to say I was flabbergasted. Then she said "it's hard to talk about money when you're relaxed and on the massage table." (After I left I thought to myself, I wasn't even on the massage table yet when she asked me if I wanted her to turn on the red light feature.) Because of my confusion as I was checking out, she said she'd "do me a favor and discount the additional $30 cost down to $20." I was extremely uncomfortable, felt put on the spot, paid, and left. I couldn't shake the feeling of being taken advantage of, so I emailed her that night, explaining this and how uncomfortable I felt. I asked if she would be willing to refund me the additional cost, and only charge me for what I originally booked: an hour long Swedish massage. She ignored my email and the follow up email I sent 3 days later. I didn't ask her to do these additional things, she offered them up without disclosing the cost. And at no point during the online booking process were these things disclosed. You're given the option to add on the sauna or NSDR, both of which I declined. Such an awful feeling to have information kept from you throughout the entire process and then sprung on you last minute. I just hope this review can help prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

I found the Island Day Spa and noticed it was within a very short walking distance of the Inn. I found it super easy to make an appointment online from their website, which they quickly confirmed. This was my first manicure since February 2020, so it had been awhile!!! I was quickly greeted upon entering and seated with my lovely nail technician. She did an amazing job shaping my nails and making my hands look amazing. She picked a perfect light pink polish, making my hands look so great that I kept telling my husband that I've got to do better about keeping up with my nails! I instantly regretted not booking a pedicure at the same time as my mani - I'm sure that would be just as delightful an experience. Absolutely excellent service and a great manicure for $36, including a 20% tip. I will definitely return the next time I'm at the Inn!

I delivered two very large babies over a decade ago and had followed the advice of my OB/Gyn, but kegels weren't enough. Usually within 20 minutes of jogging, I would start to leak. I was already a very loyal customer of Refresh & Refine (and travel more than 300 miles for all treatments there - well worth it!!!!) so I was thrilled R&R started offering treatments to help with this very embarrassing problem. FormaV's radiofrequency treatments were surprisingly comfortable. VTone's muscle stimulation was a bit more intense but manageable. More importantly, it left my pelvic floor feeling stronger. The combined effect of FormaV and VTone has been incredible. My urinary incontinence is practically gone. I have so much more confidence thanks to these treatments. I have now completed my sessions and feel like i am in my 20s again. It's very spacious and is exceptionally pleasant with only her and one other stylist so you never get the noise and claustrophobic feeling of crowded salons. They use Davines color which was a must for me when we moved here because of the quality of the color products and styling products. I was a redhead and it can be hard for some stylists to get red right so the quality of the color and skill of the stylist using it was very important to me. Nicole is very skilled at color as well as highlights and balayage techniques. She listens to what you want and then follows through beautifully. She also helped me transition to my natural white hair during COVID and did a great job in easing me into it and making it look great. In recent months Nicole added a new stylist, Patty, who does amazing blondes!
