We are so happy to find this place. Best of all, it is 7 mins from our home. The place is clean and they are very welcoming when you walk in. This place has a good vibe. The owner and staff even make the effort to thank each customer as they leave or when a service is done. The staff are friendly and you can feel they take the time to care for the customers. While I was there, I noticed how one of the owners took the time to make sure an elderly lady was taken care of and even ensuring her ride knew where she was. Wonderful and professional people. They also made sure that we are aware that we will be attended to. The sweet lady Nancy did my manicure and the gentleman Tran (who happens to be the other owner) did my pedicure. Both did such an excellent job! My husband who had his pedicure done was very impressed with the meticulous attention she (Pho? He can't remember her name) gave to him. Took my girls to get their nails done for good grades and had the worst experience! I was told by one lady that they had color changing gel and the lady actually doing the nails told me that they did not have color changing gel. So, my girls picked a color and added metallic. While I was paying, I was told the metallic would be an additional $15 per manicure so I paid for it. (honestly, additional fees should always be disclosed before service is rendered) The lady that is doing the nails proceeded to take off the metallic without even discussing it with me first! I have been going to Lily Nails for just over a year. I have difficulty tending to my toenails and after checking the online reviews, I decided to try Lily Nails. I am so happy I did. If this is near you I would recommend. Was very nice accommodating my desire to have mani/ pedi done one after the other instead of both at same time. I just don't understand this place. I took my daughters in to get their nails done as a Christmas present. I wanted a full set with regular polish. They mentioned I tried gel. I said no thank you I would like regular polish. They insisted on gel and I politely declined. The lady argued with me over not getting gel to the point that she changed the price of the service and said regular nail polish is the same as gel so I might as well get gel because she is charging me the price of gel even though I wanted regular polish. Needless to say we walked out with gel polish and after tip I had spent over $160 to get an 8 year old and a 12 year olds nails done. I will not be going back. Scam artists read more

I'm giving it 2 stars only because my husband said they looked nice. Whoever did my pedi and fill in, took forever and she was so rough. Paid $50 for my pedi and she barely massaged my legs, sanded my nails so close to my skin, I almost bled and my skin was burning. Did the same thing with my nails. I hateeeee to be this person. But I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. Every time I have come here I have been disappointed and today was the worst. I'm sure you're wondering why I keep coming back even though every experience terrible? Well, my mother loves this place so the two times I have came here have been with her. I don't know what the woman's name was (I think I had the same lady both times), but not only did she file my skin to the point where 5 out of my 10 fingers were bleeding, she then continued to file and buff my skin to the point where they bled profusely. I have never had my nails done so fast and so painful. I'm from Atlanta, I'm used to a relaxing visit to the nail salon, not a rushed and throbbing visit! My fingers are tender, swollen, and I have dried blood all around them. I would post a picture but I'm currently trying to clean them up so they're presentable for my trip. But I'm not even mad at Lily nails, I'm mad at myself for letting my mom take me here again. But she was paying so I couldn't really say anything ya know? **Side note: A lot of people in Sugar Hill really do love this place and I honestly think it's just my experience with that one lady so I don't want to stop y'all from going here just because of her. I love coming here for pedicures, I generally don't request anyone special as everyone here is great! Everyone is friendly, place is very clean, getting a pedicure is always relaxing and done well. I especially love that they don't try to pressure you into upcharges and additional services as some places do to a point that it is uncomfortable. I'm just here because as I have gotten older I have trouble giving myself pedicures, lol. I'm trying to talk my husband into coming as they make men not used to the pedicure experience very comfortable here as well. I was having my nails done when a loud argument began between all the ladies on staff and the male owner sitting at the desk. Since it was in a language I didn't understand, I didn't know at the time exactly what they were saying but learned later that the staff (ladies) were confronting the male owner who they say had been stealing their tips for years and they finally were confronting him. The back & forth was so confrontational, I finally spoke up very sternly & asked the owner to stop. He was raising his voice & my stylist was trembling, she was so upset. The couple who own this salon have never been that friendly & I only go there because of my specific stylist. My stylist has now quit, therefore I cannot recommend this salon at all. Worst manicure I have ever had! Polish doesn't last - in shaking the bottles they all sound thinned out. Terrible filing job on my hands - edges of my nails left sharp and damaged.
