A LIL'RV is a minivan/camper van that sleeps 2 or 4. Both camper-vans have many luxuries of a mini RV including a fridge, gas stove, sink and comfortable mattress.   You can also rent kitchen equipment and bedding. We had a trip of a lifetime and Jennifer made it all happen. The van was amazing it had everything we needed for our family of 4. The fridge was big enough for our needs and all the kitchen stuff was in great shape. Love that it is real stuff and not plastic cheap camp-gear. We visited 6 states and 6 national parks. The van was easy to maneuver and the roof tent was so easy to set up and put down. After one night we felt like pros. We received so many compliments about the van from people along the way, it's great because it's so compact. I would for sure rent one again next time we decide to do it again. Dealing with Jennifer made everything even better she is amazing and very accommodating. Pick up and returning was super easy. Costumer service to the max ! read more

We typically go tent camping but we wanted some flexibility this time in case we couldn't find a campground with availability and it's a fun thing to do with kids. Having a small fridge is really nice too when you're out for a longer period of time (we were out for a week). We rented the trailblazer with the optional tent on top. That way the vehicle seats and sleeps 4 but I'd say 2-3 people is more ideal so it leaves enough space for storage if you're out for more than a few days. The whole experience was great; the vehicle and all amenities performed flawlessly and the Lil' RV staff is great to work with; laid back, super friendly and flexible and they will meet you close to your home to pick up the vehicle! We did use our own propane stove since it worked better than the butane stoves provided but that's a very minor detail. We will rent again for sure! read more

We took a week long camping trip through the Eldorado national forest in a lil'rv camper van. Jennifer was kind enough to let us adjust our booking when we had a last minute scheduling issue which was nice. There were 4 of us -- my wife, 4 year old daughter, 35 lb dog and I, so we booked the trailblazer model with pop up sleeper. There was a pet fee but it was reasonable. We had a great trip - camping is a lot easier with the van. We stayed at 4 different sites and the conversion process was really easy. The van was in great shape - clean and well maintained. The pop up sleeper was pretty fun and worked for me (6'4") while the bed inside the van is probably best for those 6' and under. The kitchen area was really functional and having a small sink made cleanup way easier. It was a really memorable trip., we will definitely rent from them again. read more

After much research my partner and I decided to book the vehicle for our 5 day California road trip with Lil' RV. It was our first road trip together and we wanted something easier to handle than an RV or class A/B/C vehicle but didn't want to compromise on the camping aspect of the trip. We were also looking for something that didn't break the bank. Lil' RV covered all our bases. There is plenty of space in the roof tent (my partner is 6'4" and slept comfortably) and the kitchen in the trunk is perfect for storing a few perishable items, brushing your teeth and washing dishes. Our luggage (two carry ons and two 50 lb suitcases) fit inside the car no problem (note that we didn't use the inside as a table or bed, just for storage). The bedding and linens were impeccable, as was the interior of the car and the kitchen kit. I'm not sure if it's the case with all of Lil' RV's vehicles, but the one we rented had a solar panel on the roof which allowed us to charge our phones without using the car battery. Another pro (more relevant now than ever) is that Dodge Caravan mileage is better than any RV or motorhome out there. Pick-up and drop-off was straightforward and Jennifer and Saida were quick to respond and always available to help. Thanks to my first time camper jitters I asked Saida a lot of questions during the rental process and she was quick and kind in her replies.
