I totally agree with the reviews that shared their bad experience at Lily Pulitzer at Waterside Shops in Naples. I visited the store today. I was never greeted & was ignored the entire time I was in the store. I watched & listened to all other customers being greeted & asked if they needed help. I felt unvalued & belittled by my experience. I left the left the store, but returned & spoke of my experience with the store manager, Lauren McGinness. I was hoping by sharing my experience another person entering the store, would not feel as I did. Sadly, I don't hold out much hope of that. Lily was great, BF bought me some dresses online for our anniversary that were cute but not really my style. The ladies were extremely helpful in the return/exchange process and I was able to find two absolutely lovely dresses that I adore. One was in the same print my bf chose just a different style which fit better and the other was one my BF saw online after he had purchased the others so I feel like it was a win-win. Why is this store so badly managed? I had ordered a dress on line, it was too small. I called this store, to be spoken to in a very short manner. She stated if the dress was on sale it could not be returned, ok I agree with that. I requested she look up the order number to see if the dress was on sale. She stated I would have to speak to a manager, and after waiting like 20 minutes proceeded to hang up. I then processed the return on line, printed the label, drove it to fed ex and dropped the dress off for a full return. Go to any other Lilly Pulitzer except this one. For about 6 months I would go to the store every 2 weeks when the new lines would come out. I finally decided I would rather make the drive to the coconut point location. If you don't walk into this store dripping money they pay no attention to you. I've made 2 different returns to this store and each time I felt belittled. The younger girls are all very sweet and helpful. It seems the ADULTS pick and choose who to help. Such a cute store- the employees were very friendly and the changing rooms were super cute! I think this is for the 20's girls, but I'm 42 and I found some super cute dresses myself- and the hubs thinks I look hot in them... :) enough said on that! The styles are bright and fun. One of my dresses had a small hiccup in the stitching and they were quick to get me a replacement- no questions asked. That was impressive. I purchased over $2,400 of Lily Pulitzer apparel at the Waterside Shops in Naples Florida. Unfortunately, I brought the clothes home and tried them on for my husband. He hated a off the shoulder top which I had taken the tag off. I looked everywhere for the tag. I had not worn the top and so I went back to the store to return and ask for a refund. The store manager would not accept the return despite the shirt was never worn. Needless to say, I will never buy one more item from lily pulitzer and will be returning everything from my $2,400 purchase that still have the tags on it. read more

Oh the color! I love walking into one of these stores. The colors are so appealing. This particular store has many windows which provide great lighting for everything to "pop". Again, I could have been in serious trouble if I gave into my "want". I want this, I want that. The store was very well stocked with everything from dresses to tops and bottoms, beachwear and kids. As always, I was looking for a deal but didn't find any sale merchandise. I love the way these colors and styles make me feel. The store was very bright, white (aside from the merchandise) and very clean feeling. It really is designed to feature the merchandise... they do a great job of this. Have you ever gone somewhere and were treated like you didn't belong? Treated less than other customers and Bullied but a person that was supposedly hired to assist you? Well sadly that happened to me this past weekend and at a Lilly Pulitzer. I understand that while my current appearance does not meet the sizing requirement of your line at this time that does not mean I should not be treated like a valued customer. I have been a customer of Lilly Pulitzer's since the 1970's. I grew up in Lilly, met Lilly Pulitzer herself when I was a young girl living in Palm Beach. I even named my daughter after Lilly Pulitzer. Sadly this weekend I made the mistake of going into your Naples Florida location. Having always purchased item in major department stores or small signature stores I never faced the store employees I hear so much about online and from friends. Well that ended Saturday late afternoon with a visit to this location. You have to understand... I know I no longer meet the Lilly Pulitzer target audience. I am getting ready to turn the 50 this week and I am sick. My trip to Lilly was to purchase to bright scarves to cover hair loss from illness. I understand that in not 5'2" and 100 pounds but there is no reason to treat anyone less than just because of their appearance. These young women have no idea what I am shopping for and should have been there to assist me and not to judge. If I wanted to squeeze myself into something, buy a gift or just even look around I should not have been treated like someone that didn't belong. I wasn't dressed to the max and flaunting expensive jewelry. I am losing my hair, older and not a size 2 from some college sorority so they didn't view me as a viable customer. Two of girls were not as noticeably rude as the women behind the cash register. She was very condescending. I ended up just purchasing a pair of sunglasses as gift for a friend. I could just imagine if I started trying a scarf on my head. The stares and the fresh comment and just the way she looked and stared at me. I tried to make conversation and let her know I was a long time Lilly customer but she treated me like an idiot that needed to be educated about Lilly. Sadly I know more about Lilly than she could ever begin to imagine and my closet holds so many pieces of vintage and current Lilly that she would be shocked. Even trying to ask her a question about availability of an item, I got a snappy response and lecture about the Lilly line. Honestly I really do not need a Lilly educational lecture from a bully like this person because I've been around Lilly since before she was born. Sadly after much reflection I am going to return the glasses to another store. I cannot give them to a friend in the spirit they were intended after being treated like this. I will continue to buy Lilly Pulitzer as I have for years from amazing signature stores and online retailers but will never go to the Lilly in Naples again. I thought it important that you realize the behavior of the young women that are employed at this store and hope that they are not what is waiting for other customers in other stores. I hope that these "bullies" do not do this to other customers because though we may not be your target audience we do have friends and families that are and do shop in your stores. We are people and even though I may not have looked like the typical Lilly Pulitzer girl it does not mean that deep in my heart I am any less of a Lilly girl though my appearance does not show it. All I wanted to buy was a few scarves to cover my hair loss and make myself feel more like a Lilly girl and sadly the experience ruined the rest of my weekend. read more

I've been a Lilly shopper for years. The Waterside store is being remodeled & that's ok. But it's the crammed in/over stuffed merchandise plus the too busy staff w/ personal conversations who know very little about their merchandise that's the problem. When trying to look for sizes you can't even push the hangars down to find a size or there are so many piles you have to start another to find what you're looking for. Shoot it's almost like the PA Warehouse sale. Yesterday there were 5-6 sales persons & the only people that helped were the girls up front. I felt so awkward at one point - like I was an interlopers in the conversation! The young girl had a swing dress on that was seasons ago. Vintage is cool, but to wear Lilly that's worn out-not good model for Lilly clothes. These are CONTINUAL problems and I hope a manager sees this - the downtown shop C Orico is so much better! read more

I love Lilly Pulitzer and everything about the brand. However, when I was in this Naples store, the employees were extremely rude. I was trying on clothes and before I could even take them off the employee asked me to "hand her what I didn't want" because the lunch crowed was going to come in and it was going to "get busy". This rude employee thought I was just some college girl wasting time and having fun trying on clothes and not going to spend any money. Their lack of customer service was clearly demonstrated. When I went to the register to pay for my items, their attitude changed from annoyed to cheerful. I was disgusted that the employees would act in such a manor. I thought that as a customer who was going spend a lot of money there they would have been more patient and willing to help. But I guess not. I will not support this Lilly location again. read more

I just attempted to return a dress my husband bought me from the Lilly Pulitzer store at Waterside Shops in Naples, FL. It was a gift so the tags were removed. My husband kept the receipt. When I took the dress to the store with the receipt the manager said unless the tags were attached to the dress they would not even give me in store credit, even with the receipt which included my husband's name on it from his credit card ( & our last names are the same .) This is a policy that makes me FAR less inclined to ever shop Lilly Pulitzer again. The manager was quite rude as well. I recommend spending your dollars elsewhere at a more customer friendly business. This business needs to talk to Nordstroms... LP's customer service dept. can learn a lot. read more

When you walk in you are always greeted with a smile and hello :) The staff of ladies are always willing to go the extra mile to help you find the perfect outfit for any occasion. You ask there opinion and they will help you find the most flattering outfit. This is extremely helpful when not sure what looks the best on you. I would never go anywhere else!! I have shopped here for several years and my experience has always been wonderful. Naples has several Lilly locations and this location has the best selection by far. If the don't have my size, the staff is extremely helpful in locating at a nearby store or having it shipped to my house. I would highly recommend this location. read more

As a once loyal customer and one who recommended Lily Pulitzer products to many family and friends I have abruptly stopped after be dismissed by pathetic customer service dept . We had an issue with a broken zipper on a long dress recently purchased. I tried it on for first time and the cheap flimsy plastic zipper broke. WTF why use such crap on an expensive dress. I contacted Team Rude better know as LP customer service to share my experience and was offered $10 for a repair. The $10 would not pay for a quality new zipper and then labor. I asked to raise issue to senior management for another solution. It has been 2 weeks and we have heard nothing. Great customer service from a once beloved organization of mine. I now unfortunately will never ever purchase another LP product and will share my awful experience with others. During the recent Covid environment customer service should be a priority to retain and reward loyalty. Obviously LP took a detour and decided to ignore. read more

What a mess! The staff are extra rude. Unhelpful, not willing to to assist. Customers have to leave the fitting rooms to get their correct sizes. The staff are Chet chatting among each other. I even seen some of the staff wearing the clothes with tags and after sometime put it back at the racks. When I questioned this horrible behavior they told me that they like to wear the clothes but don't want to purchase it. I questioned if the company gives them discount so they can purchase, they said yes, but don't want to spend the money if they can change every hour. I was stunned to hear that. Didn't know that I was shopping in 2nd hand Lilly store. So I started to ask to get a fresh item in wrapping, the staff started to huff and buff! Clearly not happy about this request.The fitting rooms are billed with clothes from pervious customers, the table next to the fitting rooms is full with clothes that need to be put back on the racks. This is supposed to be the red carpet Lilly, it is NOT. Good luck in cleaning the store and the staff attitude. read more
