My aunt's been coming here for the past year for all her dry-cleaning needs, and I've actually started bringing items here, too. It's $1.59 for most garments, though for every order you place, they add an additional 25 cents to the cost. I'm pretty sure there are places that are a little bit cheaper than this one; however, (1) this one's seriously a 10-minute walk from home, (2) your stuff is ready by the end of the day if you bring it in before noon, and (3) compared to the dry cleaners I take my stuff to back in Cali, this place is dirt cheap. I haven't found rips, tears, or signs of wear from the dry-cleaning yet, so I'm deeming it a safe place for all my fancy stuff. :-) Oh, and if you've lots of dry-cleaning in one go, you'll probably find it convenient that they have a drive-thru option for pick-up. You just drive your car around to the side of the building, hand them your receipt, and they'll bring your things out to the car and hang them up in your car for you. Now that's service. read more

Terrible owner. I won't be back. Upon shirts drop off we asked, "Are you going to do regular starch?" Dry cleaner, "yes, regular starch." Picked up dry cleaning. NO STARCH was done. I told owner that we asked for "regular starch" and his response was "regular means no starch". I asked if he was going to redo the shirts. He refused. TERRIBLE. Highly Upset! I've been coming to this cleaners for over 15 years but never again. I wouldn't advise you to either. I had one of my favorite suits cleaned and when I went to pick it up it was ruined. The jacket was faded in a large portion and brittle like someone sprayed starch on it. The manager said let us try and clean it again but I doubt if it will change. The manager on duty tried to get me to take it with me I refused. I ask how do I go about being reimbursed for damage clothing she said the owner is the only one that can authorize that and the max is $50. I of course laughed and ask to speak to the owner he wasn't in. I ask when would he be in and she said he pops in every so often. I called for 3 weeks trying to catch him and left messages never received a return call. Called Tuesday the 23rd and they told me he would be in today. I went in today and realized I've been seeing the owner most of the times I had been in over the years but never Identified him as the owner. I politely ask him to pull all my tickets I had something that I needed to show him. When he brought the suit out I started by saying you know I've been a client for a long time right? Many years right? I've always brought my suits to you and you only right? He said yes! I said I have never had a problem until now. This suit is one of my favorite suits that has been completely ruined. When I showed him he immediately started to defend himself and take no responsibility. I stopped him and explained this suit is the exact manufacturer of all my suits including the one I have on. Please feel the texture of this suit. Do you feel how soft the material is? He said yes! I uncovered the other suit that is damaged and said fill this suit. Do you feel how rough the texture is like someone sprayed it with starch? He started ranting again trying to defend himself. Then I laid the Jacket on the counter and laid the pants on top of it. I asked can you see the pants are not even the same color or texture of the jacket? He ranted again about what they don't use. I said Sir you keep repeating the same thing but that is not going to resolve the issue. I don't know if someone was angry with you or was new but someone sprayed something on this jacket that faded it and caused it to fade and become very brittle. It is not the same color or texture under the lapel and under the arms. You can clearly see it made a line were that chemical did not come in contact with the material. When I dropped it off it was not like that and when I picked it up it was and that's why I left it. So my question to you how are we going to go about replacing my favorite suit and he said "I'm not" "I'm not responsible for it"! I said Sir, I don't operate like this but if your telling me your not going to replace my suit not only will you lose a long term client but I will have to share my experience on social media and I have a good following in this area. I said you can chose how you want to handle it. He said I'm not replacing it so here we go. Do not take you clothes to Lilly Cleaners on Highway 6 and Brooks Street. If they damage it you will not be reimburse you. Very poor customer service! read more

There is a woman that works there that keeps on changing the prices. The second time I brought a pair of pants for her to hem(about 2 weeks before the first pants), she charged me more-even though the hemming length was exactly the same. I knew there was something sketchy so I kept the receipts and later learned that she had in fact changed the prices. There was also another time I brought in a lab coat, and I told her that if she couldn't get rid of the stains- to just wash it and that's it. When I came to pick it up, she charged me twice the price -claiming that they had to clean it twice because there were some stains that they couldn't get rid of-my problem is that they should have called me FIRST, before charging me anything extra! This is my husband's choice dry cleaner, and I've started to use this one too. He gets great service here. We've never lost a garment here. I've only had one fancy dress damaged here, but it was a risky move to have it dry cleaned and I think it would be damaged anywhere. I like how my loose belts would be neatly tucked and shrink wrapped to my outfits. This shows how much care goes into each piece of garment. The prices are not cheap but cuts down the wear and tear on my clothes, so still a bargain compared to how much I spent on my work clothes. You get what you pay for. read more

Last week I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience at Lilly Cleaners. I took in a very nice white dress to get dry cleaned in preparation for my upcoming wedding rehearsal. When I got it back the following day I was devastated - the dress had pinkish / purplish dye all along the seams on the front of the dress and most of the seams along the waistline have been ripped up. The bottom folded seam was ripped out as well. The dress looked like a disaster, many times worse than when I brought it in with a couple of minor stains. What did the owner do in response? Instead of even attempting to empathize with me and consoling me, he proceed to raise his voice and defend himself. He yelled at me while pointing at the "rules" sign on top of their wall, stating that they are basically not responsible for any stains or rips that may occur. I was in shock to be treated so poorly as a customer. After arguing for some time they agreed to clean it again, but that did not improve anything. The owner refused to pay for my dress, and I was left without my wedding rehearsal dress. Oh, and a previous time they lost another one of my dresses... they gave me back someone else's pants instead of my dress. I was lucky that my dress was bright yellow and easy to find. Otherwise, who knows... This is a terrible way to conduct a business. I will never set my foot there again, and I recommend that you bypass this place entirely. read more

Lilly Cleaners is a cheaper option than some of the more expensive locations in Sugar Land. Given this the laundry leaves a lot to be desired. I've had shirts with broken or missing buttons, stains that remain even after being cleaned, etc. In addition the male owner is extremely rude and berates his employees in front of customers. This makes interactions uncomfortable and made me reconsider who I give my business to. read more

I took my husband's long trousers in to be made into shorts. The seamstress cut a notch at the front and back of each leg at the stitching line...which cause that area to rip down to the edge of the hem after a couple of washings. This is NOT the way to hem anything. VERY, VERY POOR JOB. The owner is going to have only ONE pair "repaired". It will be a miracle if that works. She refused to fix the others and will not refund my money. They might be good enough cleaners (cheap), but my suggestion is to NEVER TRUST THEIR SEAMSTRESS. After the way I was treated, I won't give them any more of my money and will register a complaint with BBB. read more

I don't know anything about the quality of their cleaning. However, as a customer of their neighbor, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, I parked my personal vehicle on the parking lot, while on a business trip. Enterprise directed me to a location at the front of the lot, facing the street. Lilly had my car towed. There is not sign that says Lilly only, it says Patron only. Evidently, Lilly has cars towed every week. I suspect he is running a racket with the towing company J&H Towing in Richmond. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! I recently had some shirts dry cleaned here. When I picked them up they were laundered and heavily starched not dry cleaned. The attendant there proceeded to YELL at me that I asked for laundry service. No, I never ask for laundry service, only dry cleaning service. I highly recommend finding another dry cleaner. Drop your clothes here at your own risk! I was a newbie to Lilly Cleaners and dropped off several new pairs of khakis. Lilly broke the buttons on 3 of the khakis. I showed them two & they agreed to fix one time, but not without their manager pointing to a sign that they are not responsible. When I received the khakis back, I had also dropped a pair of dress jeans at the same time. The leather medallon on my jeans was ruined and I believe that this action could have been intentional. Needless to say, I will not drop any clothes at this cleaners again! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. This place bleached one pant leg on my husband's $300 jeans. When I went there today and spoke with the male manager, I explained to him how we just picked up the khaki jeans a few days ago and noticed that one side of the jeans had bleach stains up and down the pant leg. He looked up my account and immediately said that "they" did not do that to the jeans because they were dry cleaned with chemicals and not washed. I explained that when we dropped off the jeans, they were just fine and when we picked them up, they were bleached. He told me that he's not sure if they were dropped off just fine. I told him to GIVE ME A BREAK. I told him that maybe one of his employees accidentally got bleach on them and he said that it was impossible because his employee has been there for 10 years. He even went to go ask his employee who verified that it was a bleach stain. When he came back, he said that they did not bleach the jeans and it wasn't their fault. It was absolutely ridiculous that he was denying that they bleached one side of my husband's jeans. He never once apologized nor tried to rectify the situation by offering a refund of some sort. How can they claim that they didn't bleach the pant leg when they were dropped off perfectly fine? RIDICULOUS! The manager was rude, combative, and totally unprofessional by being defensive the whole entire time and denying their wrongdoing. I will NEVER EVER return back here. read more

Lilly Cleaners forgot to tell me that they couldn't actually CLEAN my collars or cuffs! After discussing the situation with an employee I was told that they couldn't do any better.... Since moving to Sugar Land about 2 years, I've been going to Lilly Cleaners for all my dry cleaning needs. I can drop off my clothes on my way out to work and they're ready when I get off to pick up. I've brought in a couple of items that have had some stains that didn't come out when I tried washing them at home and they do a great job of removing them from the garments. Would highly recommend based on prices, service, and the convince of a drive-thru for clothing pick-up. Management is always friendly and attentive. read more

We have used Lilly Cleaners in on Hwy 6 in Sugar Land since we moved here in 2008. After six years, we had two incidents occur within a month. The first was a lost shirt. I kept checking back, as suggested by the owner, to see if it had been returned. The second incident was a sleeve torn by a machine. It was ripped in three places. When I showed this to the owner, she first told me that she could just fold the sleeve up and sew it and it would be perfectly fine. There is no way that would be perfectly fine, given that the rips were all at least an inch long! After I told her this was not an adequate solution, she then switched over to a new tack: It was wear and tear! Unbelievable. After a long haggling session, I agreed to let her try to "fix" the shirt, and she agreed to give me a $40 store credit for BOTH shirts!!! Needless to say, we are done with Lilly Cleaners. read more

One of my husband's shirts was ruined after taking it to be laundered at Lilly Cleaners. On the back side of the shirt, there appeared three large burn circles and one section where the shirt had been burned all the way through. I let the employees know, and they assured me the owner would call. He didn't. When I called to speak to hime two days later, he was extremely offensive. He claimed that I had in fact created the large circular burns, not Lilly Cleaners. This of course would have been impossible, seeing as how large circular burns would not have gone unnoticed either by me or by Lilly Cleaners when I dropped the shirt off. Yet, he continued to strongly claim that he had done nothing wrong. There was absolutely no acknowledgement that perhaps a mistake had been made. He was combatant and rude from the very first moment of our conversation. After loyally and exclusively trusting Lilly Cleaners with my dry-cleaning needs for three years, the owner had the audacity to treat me with such disrespect and dishonesty. read more

I've been using Lilly Cleaners for eleven years. Never had any unfixable issues until now. A pair of cream color Dockers came back with grease on the pant legs. I took them back in and a woman told me that they had a machine break down around the time that these were cleaned and that she would reclean them. Today I went back to pick them up and although improved they were still stained. The manager insisted that there isn't any grease on the premises. He said he would have them try to clean them again. Two minutes later he came back and told me that they had already bleached them and the stains would not come out. He offered nothing other than to put them back in the plastic bag. I told him they were garbage so I didn't need it. So I actually paid to have them ruined. I told him he was loosing a good customer. Apparently it didn't matter. I'm sad only because of the convenience as I work across the street. Now I'll have to find a new cleaner. read more
