I was looking for a cleaners in the area and on my way to where God told me to go, I'm gonna get enough of doing what I want to do smh. Continental Cleaners had a huge sign that advertised $2.50 Dry Cleaning! That's how they got me. Lady at the counter: Hi, can I help you? Me: Yes, (as I started checking my pockets for loose change etc). Lady at the counter: Last name, first initial? Me: Johnson, N. Do you guys off In by 9 out by 5 service? Lady: Yes. (She starts checking in my clothes, counting them) Me: Heavy starch on the shirts. Lady: Oh, they will be back in 3 days, is that ok? Me: Why? Lady: Because we send them out to another facility. Is that ok? Me: Ummm, no. Lady: We can do lite starch here and everything will be ready after 3 tomorrow. Me: Ok. Lady: ( tap, tap, take on her hand held calculator). $30 with a smile. Me: Hu? Your sign says $2.50 Lady: Pants $$, Sweater $$$$$$, Shirts $$$, Vest $$$$$$$$$....said with a smile. Me: Where the price list? That's not what your sign say. Lady: In my head, you gonna pay now? Been using them for a few months. Friendly people and decent price, however, very inconsistent on their quality. I think it might be because they do some work in house, light starch, and use a third party for medium starch or heavier. I request my cuffs be rolled, not creased, and they get it right only half the time. Other times I've gotten back shirts that looked like they didn't press them at all. I have had them redo my shirts several times. probably will move on to a different cleaners and try them again in the future. read more

I've came to this cleaner twice for a wash and fold. I had 80 pounds of clothes and was charged pretty close to $200. However I would do it again they took the hassle out of having to worry about washing and drying all these clothes while I was moving. They are really good at separating the clothes child man and woman in different bags and labeling everything. This place is cash only and they make you pay at the spot, they do not take cards fellas. If I could I would give this place ZERO STARS, they ruined my suit and pants. They messed up the lining of my pants, did not press enough on certain areas of my suit, did not even press the inside of my suit. I really did think for a second that maybe they didnt even press my suit but I realized they did, and they did a horrible job at it. I'm really unhappy with this. The price was fair and they did it quick but I am very upset with how they ruined the lining of my suit and pants! I do not recommend this place at all and will never return to this place. HORRIBLE! I needed to dry clean some dresses and to search for a local dry cleaners, of course I turn to the trusty Yelp. Never really saw a dry cleaners to get 4-5 stars before! So of course, I stopped my search and dropped off my 2 dresses here. CASH ONLY! and they insist in paying before hand. That I didn't know but the lady was helpful and allowed me to pay when I picked up the following day. Quick turn around--I likey. She even educated me on one of my dresses that said "hand wash only" and i have dropped it off to another dry cleaners before and they didn't say anything about being unable to dry clean it due to the chemical harming it. So she put that dress down for hand wash and my other one that specifically said "dry clean only." Dresses came out nice and new. $6.99 each--not bad at all! Location is off of William Trace Blvd in the "First Colony Commons." It faces William Trace. I will definitely be returning. read more

This is a nice dry cleaners (I would say a 3.5 star). They offer same day service if you're in by 10AM (which very generous, especially on a Saturday). At $1.75 for most dry cleaning items, the pricing is good. Nobody is rude, but they are not overly friendly either (which is a little different than my past dry cleaners). If you need good dry cleaning at a good price, this is it. In regards to the "eye candy" comment made by another review, I don't see it. I think the owner hires college kids in the summer and they all dress for summer. I would say that the owner needs to do something about the air conditioning situation though. It can be hot in July in there, even for customers (but I guess this is Houston). read more

I have been to others that would leave marks on the clothing that you can't get off after you told them to dry clean it. Let them know if you have stains (specific ones you want them to work on) so they can try to remove them. Don't expect them to know your name or drop a smile. You come here for the good work they do with your clothes, not for the service. They are nice=shy, but not the pampering type. I like that it's on my way to work and open early enough that I can drop things off. Service is friendly and fast. Quality of work is just OK. They can't seem to decide whether to press my pants with creases or not, and sometimes the creases have railroad tracks. They press the inside of the waistband backward (folded up instead of down) and the bottom of my shirt was not really pressed at all - all wrinkly. This doesn't work very well when you wear your shirttail out...... Still, I don't usually have much stuff laundered or dry cleaned, so I'm not familiar with the usual quality of the work. I continue to use this place because it is the cheapest around, but the service there is subpar - especially when the older lady is working the counter. I have to think she is the owner because there is no way she would still be working if someone else was supervising her and not either correcting her attitude or firing her on the spot. The man working there is the nicest, the young kids are eager workers as well - but the older lady is rude when you arrive, is rude while taking your order/clothes, and rude when you try to ask anything about the services they offer. I have been reluctant to post anything about this place because they are so cheap, but yesterday was the last straw - I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, but after more than a dozen encounters with her I have to say she is just a very rude individual that should not be working in a service environment. If you try to google the address, you will get lost. This is actually located on Williams Trace Blvd just off of the Southwest Freeway. I had to call after getting lost when I googled the listed address. The storefront sign actually says 1.75 cleaners. The service is not overly pleasant or rude just pretty much average. I think I met Oscar today because a gentlemen said hello to me. This was my second visit. I think you need to be regular to get a name shoutout. You pay for the services before you have the item cleaned. The prices are pretty cheap because its 1.75 for dry clean of garments. I asked and there is a little extra cost for sweaters and for the various material of the sweaters. I have been to super cheap places and also more expensive cleaners such as Pilgrims and Mens Warehouse. I think you basically get what you pay for. I am rating them A-ok because I have had better dry cleaning but considering how cheap the price is I think it is a pretty good deal. I had a stain on shirt and they were able to get the stain out. I also had a sweater which was cleaned and didn't have the threads messed up which I can appreciate. I had slacks dry cleaned and they were pressed but the press job isn't as good because the knees still had wrinkle marks which at Mens Warehouse or Pilgrims I have not had that. But overall I thought they did good job. I think with my higher ticket item pieces, I will likely pay up and go to Pilgrims or Mens Warehouse but for my cheaper clothing that doesn't need as exact care I am willing to come here. After dry cleaning it twice and still not being able to fully remove the stain, the owner Oscar, personally took it upon himself to hand wash it at no extra charge.
