This pub is located at the bottom of a housing estate so many people will find it to be a "locals pub" from the start.
As it was a bank holiday the pub was fairly quiet but wasn't dead. The beer selection is standard e.g. Carling, Fosters, Carlsberg and the odd ale as well as wine and spirits. A pint of Carlsberg was £3.20 which is average for Kilburn. There had some offers on boards like 4 Budweiser bottles for a £10, so that would be good for rounds in groups. There wasn't any food besides crisps and other snacks unlike many pubs which boast about their food.
The pub itself was fairly spacious and the furniture is old school with some wear and tear. There is a pool table, a slot machine as well as several TVs which mostly show football or horse racing so that is an sign of who this pub is aimed towards as well as several football shirts on the wall.
Basically this pub does it's job, but don't expect the latest beers or any wifi for that matter. read more
