I've been getting massage for over 15 years and am very selective with who I see. She has the magic touch and is very intuitive and knows her anatomy. I have not found a massage therapist here quite like her as my expectations are high! She has the whole package. Professionalism, care, experience, heart, knowledge, intuition and much more. Anyone who can call her a friend and regular massage therapist is very blessed. Book an appointment with Irene and you will be so glad you did.

I have been particularly impressed with her ability to treat TMJ issues via intraoral massage. Toni was deftly able to identify muscles in my lower palette that were extremely strained but which I didn't even know existed!! This, plus the fact that she always remembers my preferences makes her one of the most thoughtful humans I have ever met! 100,000 stars for Toni - being your client is a gift!!

I receive regular massages and facials (high end to medium standard/locally & during my travels) so I am very experienced in spotting a quality spa and know what great service looks like! The dim lighting and ambiance is very nice and calming. The establishment feels exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, even the waterfall faucet was fascinating! Not high end but good enough, great quality massage spot. My masseuse, Stephanie, is so skilled, has great technique and was in tune with my body. She truly has the magic touch and maintained the firm pressure that I like. The customer service was excellent from all of the staff members. I love how easy it was for me to book online (a requirement of mine), even last minute booking worked out well! BUT...I should have CALLED to book as it is required to receive the $10 off of the first massage. Oh well, I love to support small business. The location is fairly easy to find with the help of Google Maps but, can be hard to spot since I do not recall seeing a business sign along the main road (I could be wrong). They share a building and entry with another business (I think it was some insurance company). The massage business sign is on the door so you know it's the right place! I was so pleasantly surprised by University Place Massage. I will definitely be a regular here with Stephanie. I highly recommend checking this place out ASAP!

UGH IF I COULD GIVE YOU NO STARS!!!!!…read more These guys were at the top of my list when I searched for massage places that accept worker's compensation insurance. I visited their website, reviewed all their services and read their reviews. I was eager to get relief from a job-related injury. However, I quickly discovered they are no longer willing to help. They advertise on their website that they assist with bodily and work-related injuries, but they have stopped doing so because they don't get paid the way they want when dealing with L and I. I was told this directly by a team member when I called. It's unacceptable that the medical field prioritizes profit over patient care. I injured myself on the job through no fault of my own, yet I am being denied proper treatment. This is selfish and unjust. If you want to retain customers, update your website immediately so people in genuine need are not misled or left suffering.

I was looking for something affordable and close by, and settled on Epic Massage. Like most local chains, it can a be a hit or miss. This place had an online scheduler so I was able to find a day and time that worked well for me. Once I arrived, the person (owner?) seemed confused but got me set up in a room where I waited about 10 minutes before someone came in. At the end, I showed her the email confirmation which I think helped confirm they have online scheduling, but they prefer walk-in or a phone call. Great massage, she definitely could tell right off the bat where my trouble spots were or what sort of occupation I had! A little more chatty than I hoped but the massage was a good start in the right direction in feeling better. Not sure if I will return given the lady was a bit handsey but it seems like a place that has a lot of regulars there! Maybe the others who work there are great too!
