I got the Honeymooner and it was definitely 5/5 stars would get again. A mix of Mountain Dew plus some yummy syrups. My friend got the Buttah Beer and she rated it 4/5 stars. It was a mix of root beer but she thinks it could have had more of a cream/butterbeer flavor. Overall would come again!

Sodabomb is not your usual mix any kine soda from the machine. Anyone remember "suicide soda" or…read more"Sprunch"? Seeing this little stall within the Hukilau Marketplace, next to Polynesian Cultural Center really reminded me of the time when mixing sodas (at McDs) was fun. I wonder if that was the inspiration! I didn't see those on the menu, but they have many other soda creations--including iced coffee, boba drinks, crafted waters, energy mixed drinks, farm to cup specialty drinks, and frozen drinks. Got a little bit of everything! I like how they incorporate Hawaiian Pidgin to name some of the drinks. It's a test to see who is local lol. "Ho cuz, can I get one da kine holoholo and small kine Broke Da Mouth? Shoooots!" That's four drinks right there. Ordered a Pink Plumeria (lemonade and strawberry, guava with fresh berries). With these mixed soda drinks, there's a little worry it might be too sweet, but this was not the case at all. Very clean flavors that were well balanced between sweet and sour. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. Sodabomb is definitely a unique place as I can't think of any other place that does this, especially with sodas. For sure a must stop while you're in Laie! I'll be back for more!

The drink menu also seems nice, & I would've liked to try more of their teas & stuff. I got the "Tahitian Dream" (iced coffee drink), & the "Bread Melt". The Bread Melt was basically a slice of bread with melted mozzarella cheese & pesto, with a salad on top of it. It took a while to make, since there was only one person working there at the time, but the wait was worth it. I also liked the ambience around them, with a table & chairs under a thatched beach umbrella, & some tropical patio furniture under a tent-like cover. There were some chickens that wandered thru the area as well. They could've used at least one more staff member, but the lady who was there was friendly & helpful. They are a cash only restaurant, though, which is probably their only drawback. When I asked if they accepted cards, she was at least apologetic & stated that there was an ATM down the road.

Tucked away towards the back of this particular area, follow the signs leading to their storefront…read more There's quite a bit of items to choose from, depending on the type of flavor you're looking for. Note that there's one window to order and the same window to pick-up from. Most people order and then wait off to the side on the bar stools for their order to be called. The girls in the truck were trying their best to take orders and keep up with giving out the orders. Not sure if it's possible but I think a different order window and pick up window would probably alleviate the stress/chaos for the girls to provide better service. The smoothies were filled to the brim which caused a little spillage as we were walking away from the pick up window. Be sure to ask for napkins, as they're not automatically given with each order. The flavors were fruity, although if you're looking for ice cold smoothies, this is not the place for you. I don't know how else to describe it, as I see the fruits in their fridge, but maybe they don't use as much ice or they use room temperature liquid base to mix with the smoothies? I'm also unsure of the liquid base, so you may want to inquire if you're lactose intolerant. Overall, not a terrible place for beverages, just needs a few tweaks here and there.
