Everything that is wrong with poor shave ice is our experience today. WAY OVERPRICED for a really small portion. Ice was chunky.. Used to be you got a small because that was HUGE! And it was $4. Today we spent $10 for one size offering that as 1/2 the size of what we were used to in the small.. I totally understand the increase in price because that's the way of the world right now. But for it to be below substandard and higher price .. nope .. not going back and warning others .. Today's experience was bad enough for me to post a review right away ..

It did take a little long to put an order in but it may have been due to the fact that it was a Saturday and multiple people were waiting for their orders to be picked up. I got a small fruit bowl, it was fresh, no complaints. I look forward to trying their other options when I come back!

I shared the waffle dog with the family so I still had room to eat something small. I haven't had a Waffle Dog since the days of KC Waffle Dog. I saw the Snow Factory truck on the way back to the car and noticed they sold mochi waffle dogs. I ordered a waffle dog and shared it with family. The truck was selling the waffle dogs for $4.00 each or 3 for $10.00; I bought one, I should have bought three since the family all took a bite. The hot dog is a normal sized hot dog, good flavor with a slight snap and the waffle had a nice slight sweet flavor. I thought the waffle would be crispier but overall it was a very good waffle dog. The family consensus was that the waffle dog was a tasty treat. I think the truck is more well known for the shaved ice and drinks. If you are on the North Shore, hit the truck for a yummy waffle dog and one of the shaved ice or drinks.
