I could have written a review after leaving, but writing reviews RIGHT after a horrible experience isn't the greatest for some as it would then become a reactive/emotional based review, where this 2 star probably would have been a 1. I understand that getting a low rating for someone's experience is not ideal, but accusing someone (who clearly writes reviews and does not have a fake profile) of making a fake review is a bit wild. this was mid year of 2025. Just some honest feedback for your company! If your sales people have changed within the last 6-8 months then it's probably a much better experience :) I went in for a free dance class promotion. I wanted to see if me and my partner would enjoy adding this to our schedule, cause why not. When we first got there everyone was super friendly. Lots of people in there, but we were still able to use the music they were using to learn salsa steps. We realized pretty early on that it wasn't for us. After class we were put in a room with a sales person and the instructor. The instructor stayed in there the whole time while the sales person tried getting us to put some sort of down payment since it was the last day of their sale price. The packages were way too expensive so we kindly declined and thanked them for the lesson. The sales pressure that was put on us was crazy. It's like "no" was not accepted even after making it intentionally awkward for the hopes that they would just accept the respectful decline. We walked out surprised at their sales tactics.

Melissa's yoga class has transformed my life and how I see yoga. I'm able to do side plank now which would be mission impossible to me 3 months ago. Melissa is a gentle yoga instructor and gives clear and detailed instruction. She points out small details like "soft knee" or "feet facing the corner of yoga mat" during the yoga moves so it's very easy to follow. Melissa also changes up her yoga routine so I would never get bored even if I come three times a week. I've learned three different breathing techniques since then. At today's class, Melissa is very patient when she answered my questions on how to perfect my sun salutation moves. After her pointers, I was able to move seamlessly from underdog to jumping forward to the front of the mat.

If you're looking for a prick who's full of himself just because he won a championship two decades ago thanks to his dance partner at that time, look no further...you've found it! What I like so much about the classes is that she brings in new music and dance moves but also plays some of the same songs during each session so you're able to get the hang of the dance moves. The studio is very new and clean! Nice floors and lots of mirrors! The free water and tea is a nice touch too.

The 6pm(ish) courses are really packed. If you don't like crowds, I say go to the 7pm(ish) courses. They're nowhere near as crowded. Yenis definitely has a following, which is nice. She's super friendly and has great energy. However, I'd like to mention one of the other instructors. Over the summer, I REALLY loved going to Mimi's classes. She has a ton of energy and I also loved her routines. She would incorporate some kickboxing/punching moves, along with some good muscle work (burpees, push-ups). However, she would do this in a fun, manageable way. It always made me sad that more people didn't take her classes. I always looked forward to them:) Both Yenis and Mimi incorporate great music and teach using the mic, which makes following along a lot easier. My only complaint was that there wasn't a short-term contract available when I signed up. I was only around for two months, but I either had to pay for a three-month membership or pay $12 per class.
