TERRIBLE customer service from Lil' Monkeys indoor playground in Burlington. I had bought a 10-pass for my children awhile back and when I went to use it Lil' Monkeys would not let me. They said my 10-pass had expired even though the expiry was not listed anywhere nor was there any paperwork or email with that information ever provided notifying me of that. They said that they have recently made a decision to expire them after a year. Therefore my pass had just "expired" in mid September. I pleaded with them to honour my pass as I had paid a lot of $ for it and I asked that they allow me to use even just 2 of the 4 remaining passes left as I had no idea they had arbitrarily decided to put expirations dates on their passes. The answer was NO. Not only was there no grace period, but no warning either. The manager who was EXTREMELY rude.. kept cutting me off said that they would not allow me to use it and this was their new policy and then abruptly HUNG UP the phone on me! As a customer of theirs I am appalled and very disappointed at this poor treatment and will never return or support this business. **Since posting this same post on a Burlington Facebook group yesterday, there has been a number of other parent's who have contacted Lil' monkeys indoor playground only to find out that they too have now found themselves in this same predicament. There are a lot of upset families. This business is ripping people off and should be avoided. BEWARE! read more

I have been here several Times for birthdays and decided to try it out with free play. The women at the front desk was absolutely rude. customer service is poor. if you do a birthday party here don't choose the pancake package. Pizza is so so. more activities outside of the structure at other play gyms like playcious. If the employees here were friendlier we would consider returning. If you don't like people, then maybe you shouldn't be in customer service let alone arounds kids and families. read more

The kids loves the place.they have so much things to do.always take my kid here and he had so much fun.

Took my daughter today to explore a new indoor playground and landed here. Paid around $12.- ( which is about $4,- more then at all the other places I have been so far ) to get in for a 2 1/2 year old. First thing I noticed is just the sere size of the climbing structure!! Wow!! Secondly the amount of comfy leather couches, they are the once that once u sit down you can't get up anymore :) Back to the climbing structure, as you can see by the picture it's huge, we were there for over and hour and didn't manage to explore every single angle of the maze. We climbed halfway up that monster slide and I started getting a woozy feeling in my stomach because I am scared of heights. Once we reached the top it said that adults can't go on this one and I think there were two more for kids only. Everything else the Adults could follow there kids on. On the sides they had an area for 3 years and under with a small playground, there was a climbing wall that was still under construction. But once it's done I think it will be like real climbing wall with spotters because I saw two pulleys at the top of the 3 - 4 meter wall that will be attached to your kids. Behind the big climbing structure you have a little go cart area where they have those PlasmaCars and then this other little cart that is really super fast. Overall this is a great place but I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 2 years old. In general I noticed that there were much bigger kids then at all the other indoor playgrounds we were. They also didn't have a baby area which most other playgrounds had. Other then that they had the standard party room, and also some sort of bar with some snacks but I didn't look into it since we had our own snacks. read more

Wow, this is the best indoor playground we have ever been!! And my 4 years old daughter enjoyed a lot here. we spent almost 4 hours here! (on and off, we had lunch outside and then came back again) The service is A-ok, why said that?? When we walked into their registration counter, the ladies stood / sat there without any welcoming smile or words?! I was wondering, was I in the right place??? They just simply asked, 'drop-in and play? how many kids? and how old ??" (Different ages will be different prices) and I don't feel 'good' at that moment, why so cool?? They should add more SMILES and excitement to welcome the kids. I was quite disappointed to their staffs there. Other than that, this playground is awesome, they have a very huge, high playground for your monkeys to climb and slide (it's really fun!) and they have rock climbing, giant blocks, some "Chuck e cheese" game machines (need to buy tokens..) ... etc. And all the parents can sit back and relax to watch them playing on the very very comfortable sofas (you can't get up once you sit down!) (Foor section: not so much choice for hot food, so, we ate out, there was Cora restaurant nearby, it's good and healthy!) read more

I have been here on multiple occasions, and this place is great for families. This indoor playground is huge with a large variety of apparatuses for the kids to play with (or on). You take your child in, they give you matching ID wrist bands for you and your little one, you pay and go in. It's about $12 to go in, which is not too bad of a price considering the size of this place. There is a snack bar inside, offering a small selection of items (pizza, juice, etc... kid food). My 2 1/2 yr old goes banana's over the main climbing structure (don't mind the pun lol)... and there are tons of children at any given time, so for my social daughter, it's a perfect fit. There are tons of leather couches littered all over the main area for the adults with some TVs. However, I recommend bringing a book if you are not planning to join the kids in the playground (which I did, without shame... you might say I had more fun then my daughter). The best part about this $12 investment, was when we got home and my daughter slept for 2 hours; money well spent for sure read more

This is not a safe place for kids to play , there are sharp edges on the playground & dark drops of blood , I spoke with the front desk & they didn't do anything about it ! I was so surprised ! I will never return ! I'm NOT willing to risk my kids safety & health for whatever reason. read more

I have been to Lil Monkeys several times and overall feel that it is the best playplace for younger kids. It is very clean and secure (wristbands checked before any child leaves). My favourite aspect is that they have really made it comfy for the parents! Free coffee/tea, super comfy leather couches, tv, even massage chairs (extra charge though). If you need the kids to burn some energy and give you a little downtime, consider coming here! I had my son's birthday here this past weekend and I was so impressed with the service. 20 kids and 20 adults but with a dedicated employee helping everything went very smoothly. The package included 2 big pieces of pizza/child, unlimited fountain drinks (I recommend the lemonade) and ice cream. Tablecloths, plates, utensils all provided. The room itself is very nice I just added a few balloons and brought a cake. Kids had a great time with over 2 hours of playtime. Glad we had the party here. read more

Overall I like this place. Been coming for over a year and my daughter who is 3 loves it. Can be a bit overwhelming on PD days with all the kids and parents. Only major complaint I have is the amount of dust and grime on top of the structure. There's a thick layer over everything including the hanging toys at the arcade. Gross. I'm sure some kids and parents with allergies must leave feeling yucky. They need to invest some man hours and elbow grease or get the overnight cleaners to do some high dusting. read more

The play area is great ... but almost $40 for 2 kids, then they have an arcade area in the middle of the play area to entice the kids that can suck up another $40 plus in less than half an hour. Not for families on a budget. read more

I had a horrible experience at this place. Bought a Groupon for a three hour party (can post a screen shot of it) but when I booked was told Groupon had made an error, it's only good for a two hour party room but that we can stay and play for the remainder of our time and that they are open until 8pm. I sent my invites out for 4:30pm-7pm one month before my party. I heard nothing from Lil' Monkeys until two days before when I had a voicemail simply reminding me my party starts at 4:30 Sun, everyone needs socks as well as a few other rules I was already aware of. THEN on Saturday at 5pm, less than 24 hours before my party they called to say they've decided to close early Sunday, the day of my party! There was no offer of accommodation and they were very matter of fact about it. They didn't take into consideration that this affects the lives of parents of all the children in attendance or how that would reflect on the business when they talk about this situation amongst other parents! They blame Groupon entirely who has graciously credited me $50 and will be taking this as well as other situations with them. (Another mom was refunded by Groupon in full after Lil' Monkeys refused to book her a weekend party even though they had openings because they were reserving them for 'full paying customers' and told her they 'had to stay afloat') At 6:20pm the staff started to vacuum around my children, clean off chalkboards and close shop during the time I had paid for. Without waiting to speak to me in person the owner sent this email which speaks for itself. I'm posting in protection of other families who may consider doing business there and will leave it up to you the reader to interpret for yourself: Jennifer, There seems to be a miscommunication as to the time frame of the party. You have purchased and booked a two hour party that starts at 4:30 and ends at 6:30. There was no additional time purchased for this party from the options below therefore the party ends at 6:30. If you were told that you could stay as long as you want that may have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding. Since I was not a part of that conversation I dont know for sure which it may have been but the fact that it clearly states on every email and invoice that we charge for extra time that should be enough to know that this is not the case. It would be like a Walmart having a BOGO event on shoes and an employee accidently saying it applied to TV's as well. Im pretty sure Walmart would not give away a second TV for free. We have no problem whatsoever making sure that you get everything that you paid for in this party package. Due to circumstances though Lil' Monkeys will be closing at 6:30 tomorrow on the day of your party. We understand that it takes a few minutes to gather up and leave which is why staff have been scheduled until 6:45 tomorrow evening. I have to be clear though that after 6:45 there will be additional time charges added to your bill. For every 15 minute interval that my staff must remain on site there will be an additional $80.00 added to the bill. At 6:46 ther will be $80.00 added, then at 7:01 there will be another $80.00 added to your bill. I cannot expect employees with lives outside of work to change their plans at the last minute to accomadate customers that want to operate outside of Lil' Monkeys operating hours. They are not required to stay and nor can I make them due to employment rules. I know the first thing that you will say is that that is more than the $24.99 that is advertised on this email. That rate only applies during operating hours of Lil' Monkeys. Our rates for private events and outside of regular operating hours are extremely different. This is a reduced rate as some of our private rates start at $3000.00 for 2 and a half hours. I have been to lil monkeys many times, and have always had a great experience with the 3 boys I nanny. The boys ages range from 5-11 years and they all love it! I can barely get them to leave. As an adult, I have a blast as well. The play structure allowed me to go up and climb which was a lot of fun! But they also have big comfy couches that I can sit in all day while Im on my laptop with their free Wi-Fi... We also enjoy going back to play with their arcade games and win great prizes! Lil' Monkeys has friendly staff, a friendly atmosphere and a great space for kids of all ages to play in! We will surely be returning again in the near future! read more

My husband and I took our daughter and my nephew to Lil' Monkeys to celebrate her 4th birthday. They had a great time. The play structure was large enough and sturdy enough to have the parents climb on it as well. Parts of the structure went as high as the ceiling (which was comparable to warehouse height) and the kids had no issues climbing to the top. I do like the fact that they wrist bracelets are checked when you leave with your kids. Also, we can come and go as we need to, so we are not forced to purchase their food. However, their food was reasonable and enough to feed the kids out of convenience (Pizza, KD cups, snack packs, etc.) Not what I normally feed the kids, but as a treat no issues. The bathrooms were kept very clean, so I didn't really have issues going in them with socks only. I saw some of the negative comments and I was a little worried as we were coming from Toronto. But, I was happy with our trip and will return. read more

I have done few parties (through groupon only as they are not affordable at all) for my kids at this place, but when I became a member of a group with children with autism, I invited all these children to my son's party, and here where things changed! I tried to book my next party and I was told I am not allowed to! I called and called leaving messages asking for a reason-though I knew exactly what is the reason-, but of course I didn't get any reply from them! I did leave a message that they owe me an explanation, but they never bothered to call me back either! I complained to groupon who refunded me my money, but they were unable to get a clear answer from them. At every single party, though I am supposed to have a Hostess, I used to clean before I leave, and offer all the employees dinner, and they used to be welcoming! Till I invited that group of children with Autism, and here where I was flagged on their system as "do not book"!!! read more

This place is great really big and a variety for kids to do they had a blast!! Really clean staff constantly walking around with a vacuum and cleaning also all very friendly only down side is it is pricey!!! Cost me $40 for myself and 2 kids to get in as well you can't bring your own food which is ok if there menu wasn't so pricey as well. They order pizza from pizza pizza and charge $5 for 1 slice which if I went to pizza pizza they would charge me that for a big slice not for a small one!! I spent close to $100 for admin, lunch, drinks, snacks and games. Not somewhere to go multiple times in the week unless you have the money for it. read more

My kids have severe nut allergies. They stated no outside food due to allergies which makes sense. However, all the birthday parties were bringing outside food and the food they sell is not not free. I understand they want to sell but they should either make exceptions for kids with allergies or have a nut free menu. read more

Well, goodness knows we've been to almost every indoor playground around, and I will NOT be returning to this one. We were invited for a birthday...needless to say, I've never felt so unwelcomed.Staff mixed up the name of the birthday boy, they were not very friendly, there was barely any room for coats and shoes, then although the party was 2 hours, we were kicked out of the room after 1 hour and gifts and loot bags had to be stored under a table by the entrance. Now, being a large place, obviously there is room for numerous children, however, during high peak times, it's chaos! There is no way you can see your child, or even supervise your child because you can't keep track. There was no staff around to keep kids from rough-housing other children. Yes, parents should watch their children, but if they offer comfy couches and wifi, obviously they're encouraging them to sit back and relax...something I couldn't do, otherwise my kid would be picking up garbage from their floor, getting knocked over by another child, or goodness knows what else. If the owners are that greedy for fast turnovers and getting as many kids in and out of there, they need to put some safety plans in place. Keep the place clean, let people have the room if they've paid for a party, and have a staff member walking around to keep kids in check! read more
