I also appreciated that Carlos suggested a jersey from last season to save some money; something you don't always see, and it really stood out as thoughtful and customer-focused. In just a couple of months, I noted a tremendous improvement in my son's tactical awareness, technique, quickness on the ball, mastery of the ball (cut backs, sole cross, sole changes, etc.!) and understanding of the game. I knew Clint because he trained my brother back in the early 1990's. My brother was a member of the U.S. National U-17 team and traveled to Germany in the 1990s. Clint was able to teach him techniques and improve his game significantly. That's why at a young age, I decided to have my son start training with Clint. I really wanted to have a good experience with Imagine City Valencia because I had previously been…read morea member and wanted to support a local children's business, but our daughter's birthday party was extremely disappointing. We paid an additional $50 specifically for early setup. When we arrived, another party was still taking place, the facility was not ready, and we were unable to begin setting up as planned. They did refund the $50, which was appropriate, but by the time we were actually able to get started we had only about 15-20 minutes to prepare before guests arrived. The facility was also dirty when we entered and had an unpleasant smell. On top of that, the four 2-liter sodas that were supposed to be included with our package were never provided. The way they manage the three-hour party period also needs to be much clearer. They advertise three hours of party time, but staff expect you to have your guests out, decorations removed, belongings packed, and everything finished by exactly the end of those three hours. If teardown time is included within the three-hour rental, customers should be clearly told this before booking. As the party was ending, young staff members repeatedly followed us and reminded us about the time while we were trying to manage children, say goodbye to guests, gather gifts, remove decorations, and pack our belongings. It became extremely annoying and made us feel like we were being pushed out rather than treated like paying customers. What really bothered me was that while our guests--including children--were still leaving, staff came out with wet mops and began mopping the floors. It felt disrespectful to our guests and also created a completely unnecessary slip hazard while families were walking out. There was simply a lack of organization throughout the entire experience: the venue wasn't ready, our paid setup time didn't happen, the facility wasn't properly prepared, items included in our package were missing, we felt pressured throughout the ending of the party, and cleanup began before our guests had even left. Several parents attending our party told us they had been considering Imagine City for their own children's birthdays. Based on what we experienced, I told them I personally could not recommend booking a party here. I hope management takes these complaints seriously because the concept is great, but the organization and customer service surrounding parties need significant improvement.
