While out and about on a very hot day recently I just wanted to grab myself a snack and something…read moreto drink. Also it would be a nice respite from the heat stepping in somewhere that had the AC running. This CVS is situated on a busy intersection on Route 30 in Latrobe. It actually sits on the corner of what used to be a drive in theater. We all remember when that drive in had on their sign "We did not sale to Target." Instead, they had this corner go to CVS. Although CVS does not take a lot of room on the lot, they made it a decent sized store with a pharmacy drive thru. Inside the store is well organized and clean. Allowing you to find exactly what you need and make your way on your day. I did browse a bit while in here just to see if there was anything I might need and didn't have in mind. After I browsed, grabbed what I needed, and had enough of the comforting AC, I made my way to the registers. I had a bit of a wait, because out of the number of registers they had, they only had one register open. Once the line started to be moving, it was smooth sailing.

But my mother gets her prescriptions here and sometimes I pick them up. Sometimes I have to talk to the pharmacists. I've never had a problem here... everybody's helpful, friendly and patience. As far as the ladies in the front of the store? I see them all the time. In fact, they've taken my business from everybody else. This is an excellent store. I actually feel fairly comfortable going here. And trust me... I do not like going to the store. The lighting is horrible though. That's true. It's only place that's worse than Wallgreens. I'm in and out pretty quickly. But then again, the whole world has gone flickering fluorescent or LED.

The piercing in my nose was obviously mine because I walked in with it in.All I was doing, was looking at the nose piercings that they had in the store. This is not the first time that I've walked into that CVS and have been followed around by the same employee. very uncomfortable experience I do not like being followed around when I'm just trying to shop.

Coming across this locations, you would never know that it would be where it is. Right on the downtown walking mall, in a historic building, it almost surprises you when youre walking up and all of sudden- there's the CVS. At any rate, I walked in and was very impressed with the amount of items that are squeezed into this space- not just the usual drugstore items, but also foodstuffs, candies, chips, party supplies, business supplies, and the pharmacy in the rear of the building. The two issues I had were (1) the low level of customer service and (2) the pricing. The first issue is when I asked if they had a particular item - AFTER LOOKING MYSELF - the girl simply stared at me like I was a moron. Hey- sorry to bother you. I'll let you get back to pushing back your cuticles at the counter and daydreaming out the window. The second issue pertains to the prices which, even though they are a corporation - seemed really high for me in terms of other places I have been to. I don't know if rent is really high in the area, or they have to pay a hefty amount for the items - but it just felt like I was paying out of my nose for everyday items.
