When I explained to the manager that I had a groupon, he was clearly annoyed and argued about the specific terms. Then he proceeded to pressure me into purchasing more services even after I politely declined. I understand up-selling as a sales strategy, but I was mortified at how aggressive he became with me. At one point an associate knocked on the door and informed us that another appointment was there for him; after closing the door behind her, he turned back to me, standing at the door with his arms crossed, and threatened that if I walk out of the office without purchasing the additional services, the deal would immediately be off the table.
