Deceptive virtual appointments loop you into a contract without providing said contract to review until you raise concerns then then send a form that isn't signed by the client. Makes me wonder if this deceptive practice would fall under Statue of Fraud under Pennsylvania law. Do yourself a favor do not discuss services over the phone, for one how can they determine what procedures you may need and the number of treatments. Cool Sculpting is not fail proof and the percentage they list for serious side effects is not in line with what the manufacturer reports. The most serious side effect paradoxical adipose hyperplasia which Symptoms include a visible increase in the size of the treatment area, discomfort or pain, and a change in the texture of the skin, which can appear between 8 and 24 weeks after the procedure. Treatment typically involves liposuction or a tummy tuck, as the condition does not resolve on its own. When you raise concerns that you are not comfortable with the risk to your safety and health they refuse to refund any payments even if you never started treatment. Do yourself a favor.......visit a real cosmetic surgeon you will be surprised the cost is almost the same for services by a licensed doctor who meets with you in person and discusses the surgery and risks associated in detail. read more

I wanted to try Cool Sculpting. A little weird with the way they do it from a corporate operating practice...central office, high pressure etc. I knew I wanted to do it, price seemed reasonable so I gave it a try. The Wexford office was very clean, nice, and staff were lovely. Lauren, my nurse was thorough, and attentive. My experience with Cool Sculpting has been excellent for me. No pain during the 35 min sessions (two on my first day), and no discomfort at any time even on the next day. No way this early to tell what the results will be but I'm hopeful. read more

The service here was really nice but I'm pretty sure I got scammed on how much I paid for cool sculpting. I signed two different contracts but every time I called they said their computers were down and couldn't find the other contract and said I still owed money. It took over a month for the manager to call me back and I still had to call them and ask them for help. The money I still owed I thought it was for another procedure I had yet to get done and made a contract for. So -- I had a "Lifetime Guarantee Membership" - I had totally forgot about as I had not been to Ideal Image in almost a year. This apparently automatically renews - so when I called to cancel they agreed to cancel and refund, minus a $20 processing fee. I was never notified of the renewal to be given the opportunity to cancel before I was charged! But they can charge me a $20 cancellation fee because it "was in the original contract". As many others have said there are questionable business practices going on with the way Ideal Image works - why would they not notify someone before charging $299? My daughter was going to go to Ideal Image for hair removal. She had decided not to do it after our consultation with the facility. The consultation revealed there would be a lot of pain and it would take several visits to complete the process. One year later we were billed $299.00. We called and asked why and the woman said it was for our membership. We explained that we didn't want to be a member and we never used the services. The representative said she would put our case up for review and she never called back or anything. My husband called a few days (he called the 800 number) and the gentleman said there were no notes or anything on our "account". He said we had 30 days to cancel it. The first woman never said any such thing and she lied about putting it up for review. He advised us that he canceled our membership but didn't send written confirmation. He did say he would refund the $299 in 3-5 business days. We shall see if we are refunded. We have the name of the 2nd representative in case things go awry. Stay tuned .... read more

I've been nothing pleased with my experiences and staff over the past two years that I've been a client. My experience there started with laser hair on my face. I was pleased with the results and continued to add more areas. The nurses there are really patient, professional and attentive. I was also one the first people to get cool sculpting here. I didn't like the process- but that's reflective of the cool sculpting process not ideal image. During the whole process I was continually monitored and checked on. If I needed something and the nurse wasn't there, she was only a button click away. They give you a call button to push. Quite frankly, I was glad for the personal time and space during the process rather than being baby sat. My results were adequate to good. No worse than explained or promised. Bad customer service. They did not schedule my appointment at the right time. It was scheduled for 3pm which makes no sense because I get off at work at 3pm. Then told me I would have to reschedule and they have nothing available until the end of the following month. I asked about a refund and she told me she doesn't know if I can get one and that I have to wait for a response through email! They will take your money and not give it back. Be careful. I had my first appointment for laser hair removal about a month ago and I have both good and bad things to say about it. Everybody that I've worked with so far has been wonderful! The girl who did my consultation was great to work with, we had a zoom appointment and she explained all my different options for treatment and financing and was very patient answering my questions. The office was very clean And nice, the girl that did my procedure was great, I was really nervous and she walked me through the process and explained everything that she was going to do before it happened. The only bad part was after we were done and I went home I had horrible swelling it was so painful and looked like I was burned, it was the weekend so I had to wait until Monday morning to even be able to talk to anyone. By the next morning it was so bad that I called off work and almost went to the hospital. As soon as I called on Monday they were great and helped me out right away. They told me everything was totally normal and it would go away on it's own which it did, I just wish I would have known what to expect afterwards so that I could have been better prepared instead of freaking out, nobody had mentioned that anything like that could happen at all. Even if that's not a common reaction it would be nice to know that it could happen. But all in all it was a great experience with great results and I'm happy that I went through with it and chose them to help me out. I have another appointment coming up in a few weeks so we'll see how this one goes! read more

The nurses make sure they address anything that might hurt by warning you and then by taking it slow and relieving the area after each treatment. They always ask to ensure you are comfortable. 3. Although the staff and environment was great, the end result of my facial hair removal turned out to be a big waste of money and driving time. My last treatment which was 9 treatments was in December of 2019. Since then I've had hair growth in my face that I never noticed before. They are scam artists!! Ideal Image in Wexford management are very shady!! The medical, so called, "expertise" girl, Chelsea lied and said there was a change in under my chin fat when there was absolutely NONE!!! I had 2 sessions of cool sculpting. I had before and after pictures taken which meant absolutely nothing!! I was NEVER shown the pictures.Who knows if anyone even looked at them or even took them because she didnt show me where she saw the change. They didnt offer me any type of reimbursement whatsoever and basically Cara, the representative, told me, other than making me spend more money at 50 % off another round, there was nothing they could do for me! They stole $2,650 of my money!!!! I couldnt believe it!! Coolsculpting is a big money making scam for them and they know it!! Regional manager, Nicole Dee, if thats even her name because they all cover for one another, should all be ashamed of themselves!! I have had laser hair removal, botox, disport, ult-therapy, restylane silk for my lips, and volumizer for my cheeks. I specifically asked for the treatments to look natural. And they did it. I had a number of people ask me what creams I am using. They don't ask "what did you have done"! They think I am using expensive creams and oils. I was told I had the best hair for the service and would have great results, over and over again. I did all my 10 treatments without missing any or having any hiccups (like sun exposure). They gave me an additional 3 since I kept having regrowth. I am still getting regrowth and now I have to pay the member amount for each additional session. If you get this done, I wouldn't expect to never shave or tweeze again as they promote. For one, you are always going to have the light hairs, however, I even still have a lot of dark hairs growing back. The amount you initially pay (which is a lot), you think you are going to have this lifetime no shave, but that's not the case. They are setting you up to need to continue paying through the membership price for each additional treatment.
