After reading some reviews for electricians in my area on Yelp, I stumbled upon Larchmont Electricians. I figured I would give them a shot. I'm not tech savvy so when I called them, the technician was very pleasant and easy to talk to. They made it easy to schedule an appointment especially around my busy work schedule. The technician had even called a few days prior to confirm our appointment. After fixing all of my issues (way sooner than I expected might I add), the technician noticed a fire hazard in my bedroom closet door switch. I was unable to get that fixed right then and there yet he still took the time to educate me on other options. He was then so kind as to install a different type of circuit breaker for my closet lights as a temporary fix so if it short circuits and sparks it would cut off the power. You could tell he genuinely cared about what he was doing. He asked thoughtful questions--whether I wanted LED or a traditional red bulb--and walked me through the pros and cons of each option in a way that actually made sense to someone like me. What really stood out was how hands-on he was. He picked out a few options, brought them to the counter, and used a socket setup to actually show me how each bulb looked when lit. Then he carefully explained the differences so I could make an informed decision. That level of service is rare. The store itself is incredible--if it exists in the world of lightbulbs, they have it. But what made the experience memorable was Guy. He was knowledgeable, polite, enthusiastic, and took real pride in helping a customer. You just don't see that level of care as often anymore.
