Despite this, I still paid him for the portion of the work he completed--because I believe in paying people fairly. In return, he sent a sarcastic message, refunded the payment, and ended with a comment implying that "karma" would take care of us. We needed ground re-graded in three separate areas, sprinklers moved, concrete pavers installed, landscaping rock moved, and a 600 sq ft concrete patio poured. Koffie's team showed up everyday when they said they would, worked hard, and were pleasant and respectful. Koffie had excellent communication throughout the project. There was an issue with the first round of concrete poured for the patio and Koffie immediately had a plan to fix it the next day.
