Better to just move things along for the both of us!

I really like being able to find cards that are unique & somewhat local instead of CVS, target type places. I spent more time in this store than I should've but bought several birthday cards that were pretty neat. Many of them were either made from recycled materials or had soy free ink, not the usual Hallmark crap. The store is a decent size & they have other random household items that they sell here. Yeah come in & take a gander, you never know what might find.

It is now our favorite spot in the house, whereas before we rarely went into the room. We have now hired her to help us with our Master Bedroom design. You won't be disappointed. I was told that they didn't have supplies at their locations so I drove 1 1/2 miles down the road out of Amesbury to Roberts in Salisbury. Keep in mind that I was only looking for chain, finial and the plate for the ceiling. (What lighting store doesn't carry chandelier chain?) Anyway... What a great store! No big box stock here. Just quality items without the sticker shock. Best of all, the advice we received from the owner, who has been in business for 50 years, was invaluable. We would not have come close to getting the advice or what we needed from another retailer. Roberts closes for the winter but is opened Spring through Fall. If you need lighting, repairs or that odd ball piece, be sure you stop here first!
