The staff was all friendly and welcoming. Reasonable price for the cruise. They told us a lot of stories about the area and pointed out famous people's homes, but we didn't see too many dolphins. Beautiful sunset & relaxing. I liked that you could bring your cooler and snacks onboard (no bathroom onboard so use it beforehand). Online said not to wear black soled shoes because it leaves marks on the boat, but we were on vacation with limited shoes. When we got on board, we realized that was irrelevant and may be intended for a different boat since the one we were on wasn't a solid white bottom. Overall the kids enjoyed it.

So it was very cold at least for us Floridians but the tour was pretty 'cool'. Although there were a lot of house that had taken down their lights it was still nice riding around and hearing the stories and history from Cap'n Rick.

Although tour was hokey we may have enjoyed it had they kept to their online promise

Says they have reduced capacity And open air COVID-safe tours. What a crock! They pack the trolley full then when they stop they pack everyone together in a house and a cemetary. No social distancing here. Very uncomfortable!

Nice people, calm ride, but we basically went on a straight trip to the open waters of the harbor and right back for the exact length of the typical tour without seeing a single dolphin. There's only one tour a day, so it's a bummer to share a boat with 40+ people to just do a loop without having specific spots where they can count on sightings or extra time they could spend or other boats they can call to find some. If there is a season where it's just a coin flip for sightings, maybe the cost should be lower. Mark and William were nice a knowledgeable and I appreciated them taking their time, but the family left disappointed.

This is my 2nd dolphin tour. This time took my in-laws. We loved it. Captain William & Mark were very knowledgeable & was able to answer any questions. On this trip we had an extra note being the cargo ship that is still tipped on its side in the water. That was interesting. Then we saw about 20 dolphins. The most I had ever seen together. It was the best. Highly recommend.

Our charter trip aboard the S/V Shenanigans on a Saturday in July was the highpoint of the summer…read morefor our family. We live in Charleston, but rarely spend time on the water. We found out what we have been missing! First, the boat and crew: The sailboat is a catamaran with a living area (Sherry and Gaelen call it the salon), a kitchen, bedrooms, and several bathrooms. The deck has a freshwater shower, lots of seating area, and grill...and the boat is immaculate. We had spent very little time on boats, but this one impressed us! Sherry and Gaelen are the crew, very welcoming and helpful, and particularly patient with children (we had 4 aboard). Second, the trip: We left their dock right next to the USS Yorktown mid-morning for a tour of the Charleston harbor, and finally anchoring just off Morris Island, a small recreational island empty but for a lighthouse. After swimming off the boat and having lunch, Sherry and Gaelen took us over to the beach on the island (by way of their dingy named "Minion"). We spent the afternoon enjoying the beach and the company, finding shells and sharks teeth, and watching the never-ending parade of boats go by. As the day closed, we returned to the dock and disembarked. It truly was a fantastic day, and I would recommend this charter to anyone living in OR visiting Charleston Visited July 2013
