I've been a customer for several years, and followed this business as it's moved to several…read morelocations. The most recent location is furthest from me, but I went to get a new baby gift with the name embroidered, as I do for each of my friends when they have a baby. I called ahead of time to find out the store hours, and was told they were closing at 5 BUT the owner would wait if I got there shortly after which was very kind of her. I asked if I could place my order over the phone and provide credit card information, so it would be ready when I got to the store and I would not hold the owner/manager up. I was told that was unnecessary as long as I got there shortly after 5. I got to the store right at 5, picked out my gift quickly and asked to have it embroidered. I was told I had to come back the NEXT DAY to pick it up. I explained that I was visiting my friend in an hour, and the ability to have a blanket custom embroidered so quickly after a baby was born was the reason I drove all the way to her new location. I was told she couldn't do it, and was leaving. I left empty handed, my time wasted. I was late to visit my friend and her new baby that evening because I needed to stop at an alternate store to pick out a gift. The customer service offered at this shop was never good, but the products were adorable and the convenience was great. With the convenience gone, and the customer service at an all time low, I'll never go back. Posting a sign on the door thanking customers for supporting local businesses but offering poor customer service in return is a sure fire way to send customers running to online stores, and right out of their local business. I do not recommend anyone waste their time as I did.
