I asked Robert to service an airbag kit that was installed on a truck I had just bought. He said it needed to be replaced, and would cost about $3500. I said that's fine, and had some specific requests with regards to what I wanted done and what components i wanted installed. He ignored them all, and sold me whatever he had rotting on his shelf. I asked him for a particular switch box, he instead sold me a box he had on his shelf, which turned out to be faulty. He replaced it, then charged me for parts and labor for the replacement. Read that again. This guy's got some big ones. He also told me he was going to do a lot to stabilize my big truck, like relocate bags and shocks. I was excited, as he talked a big game about how he knows how to stabilize big trucks like mine. When I picked it up, he did none of the other work he said he would do to stabilize it, just replaced the airbag system, and charged me double what he initially quoted me. When I questioned him on this, he got defensive, confrontational, and loud. Up until this point, I really trusted him and liked him. Also, the truck sat crooked at any height, and he couldn't figure out why. He just shrugged his shoulders about it. Since the installation I've had some issues, including a faulty bag ripping less than a year after install. He won't help with any. When I called about the ripped bag he said "there's no warranty". It turns out there's a lifetime warranty, he just didn't want to do the work. He offered no support whatsoever. So basically, after you drive your vehicle out of his shop, you're on your own. I also had a random mystery plug he installed pop out of a T fitting one day, and lost all air right then and there. The fitting served no purpose, and after showing it to many other experts, he likely put it in there because he didn't have the right fitting, and plugged this one to make it work. He's a real Johnny cut-corners. To be completely fair, it's been 3 years since the install, and it has served me well, up until now. It's got a major problem, and the person who installed it and knows most about it is the last person I want to call. It shouldn't be that way. I am a mechanic, and I've learned to service and maintain the system myself. Every time I work on it, I find something else he has cut corners on. I can't recommend this guy one bit. I feel bad writing this review, which is really why it's taken me so long. I know how it is to be a custom fab specialist, most are trying their best. But this is why we review, right? So businesses like this don't get away with overcharging for sub-par work. If I didn't know how to service this thing myself, I'd be screwed.

I found 2 other broken bulbs not related to the braking bulbs. I also found no fuse in where the brake fuse was supposed to be. Tried to buy one but couldn't tell the difference between a regular fuse & a mini one. Brought a similar one in size but not the right ampage so the associate here pick the right one for me. 15 amps. 10 for 11.99.... Fixed the fuse problem which led me to identify which brake bulbs were "broken". Fabulous customer service! All aisles labeled. Easy to find but not easy to identify.

CRACK AND POP is all I felt and at that very moment I knew shit just got real(MUTHER F'n El Niño!!!!). Cracked and bent rim had me calling a tow truck at 2am in the rain... Showed up bright and early Monday morning to their shop to see if they had these aftermarket rims in stock. I had called everywhere and no one had them. Turns out these rims aren't something any shop would keep in stock. Sam was able to to get them special ordered and in within 2 days. I dropped off my bent rim and tire off so that they can swap the tire onto the new rim. Sam made everything easy and kept me updated. It was easy and problem free. They even brought the old and new rim and tire to the truck for me. Good ol' fashion customer service. I've read the bad reviews and they seem to be pretty old and have changed from what I've experienced with my last visit. I'll be coming back soon to get some new tires for a better stances on Leshantè.

After taking it to the shop, they noticed that the bolts that held the wheel on were snapping off. Anyway after numerous shops and hundreds spent, they finally figured that one of the wheels was defective and not cut correctly. They had to machine the wheel to straiten the bulge. I approached UAP as I was well within the warranty period of one year and have been getting the run around ever since. They asked for receipts, pictures and kept telling me that they are checking with their factory in China. The owner (Jacky) has been dealing with it apparently but I have not seen anything out of him. I have only asked them to cover the costs of the repairs which was about $300 but they have refused saying that they cannot do it unless the factory covers it and they are "waiting to hear back from them." Their customer service is horrendous and the product they resell is garbage. Very unprofessional....Stay away from these bozos.

On the other hand, this Carquest, thanks to the handy services of Everett, was good and ready to install if need be. All he requested was that I make an appointment two days ahead, which I did. I get there, but, unfortunately, my credit card had issues, and I wasn't able to resolve them in time to buy the battery. Everett had the tool cart and battery ready to go, too. So I had to return another day. Everett was eager to set up another appointment, even though the first time was for naught. I cleared up the credit card issues, and came back, dying battery on its last gasps. I was able to pay without delay, and almost before I could put the receipt in my wallet, Everett was quick to whisk out the battery cart to my car. With all the moves of a seasoned pro, Everett was done in zero time. The sound of a quick-cranking engine powered by a fresh new DieHard Gold was a melody of relief.
