So here's my story...I had braces right as many people did and I was getting my braces tightened and because of their careless actions they "slipped" and lacerated my gums. It cut so deep that I had to get stitches in my gums. 0/10 would not recommend!!! read more

DR. Sam is a great dentist and his staff is very helpful and friendly. He explained what he was doing when putting on my sons braces and showed me how to replace elastics if needed saving us a trip. We like him so much we drive from Park City to come see him. I highly recommend him and am grateful for the way he helped my younger kids be comfortable. read more

Worst place ever. Receptionist is horrible and if you get work done here you might as well make an appointment somewhere else because your going to have to have it redone. Oh and they'll charge you way more then the place that is going to have to fix it. HORRIBLE!!!!!! read more

Dr. Richey is honest and kind, and he is a highly skilled dentist. He cares deeply for his patients and always acts in their best interest. The entire team cares for each patient and that is felt from the second you step foot inside. I'm grateful to have a dentist I can trust completely. read more

My husband and I thought they accepted our insurance. We provided our insurance card and then sat in the waiting area for almost a half hour (long enough for them to realize and notify us that they were out of network) They said nothing to us about that. My husband got a cleaning (supposed to be covered at 100%) and I had to get a chipped tooth fixed, and they took xrays and told me that I needed a root canal. I was sitting in the dentist chair before the root canal was to be performed, and told my husband to make sure of the financial part of things before hand. He was told by the receptionist that they had to wait until the work was done before they could give him an amount. To our surprise when they were done, we ended up having to pay $90 for my husband's cleaning and check up (again, something that should've be covered at 100%) and $200 for the beginning root canal he performed. No build up or crown yet.... And given their recent lying by omission history I better have needed a root canal to begin with, but frankly I don't trust them now. When the receptionist printed off the invoice (because we were confused as to why it was more expensive than anticipated) it was extremely confusing, showing a credit balance and the receptionist informed us that it's just not that great of insurance and tried to get us to apply for care credit. NOTHING was said to us about them being out of network and THAT'S why it was more expensive. If they would have said "we are more than happy to provide services but we are out of network and its going to cost you more" we would have said okay thanks we'll go somewhere that is in network. I feel they were not completely forth coming and ommitted some important information that caused us to pay probably close to double what we would have paid had we gone to an in-network dentist. Poor business practice to not be upfront. I work in media and I may take this further to avoid anyone else being taken advantage of. read more

I had a very bad experience with Sam and his office. His mistake has left me with a piece of my cheek attached to my gum and no tooth. He won't own his mistake at all.. The front desk also told me my dental plan was just a 20% club when in fact it was a co-pay plan. Very dishonest, wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

My first time coming to this office was a great experience. My fears were eased as I was welcomed by these wonderful people and was impressed by their new and updated technology. I also learned that Dr. Richey is not only very skilled and friendly, he is incredibly talented. He offers services for everything you may be in need of. I feel like all my family's needs will be met here. I also very much appreciated that the girl at the front desk took time to get to know me, and listen to my questions and concerns. She was so sweet and helpful. I'm so relieved to have found a dentist office for life! read more

Had my teeth cleaned then made an appointment for 2 fillings a week later. Just spent an hour being tortured after the anesthetic wore off almost immediately. No other options were offered for pain relief while having 2 fillings done, and I felt all the work as it was done. I have issues with epinephrine so didn't get any in the numbing shots I was given, and was told that was the reason I felt it all. But I have never felt pain despite that issue from any other dental work I've had done elsewhere. I was obviously in pain, and have never had such an awful experience at any dentist. I am very disappointed in not getting white fillings but standard metal after all that pain-I thought white fillings were a given these days. I wasn't asked If that was my preference if that's the case. Will not go back or recommend this dental office to anyone. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We decided to do braces for my husband at his office, and I myself have had braces so I somewhat knew what the braces process was. After a year of braces, my husbands teeth were so bad. I understand that teeth can separate and all that during the process, but my husbands teeth were shifting all to one side, and his teeth were looking like upside down stair case. (his teeth were not that bad). Then we took my husband to different orthodontists in Riverton for second opinions and both said that he was doing the work very poorly. When I confronted him about this, he said give me one more month and if you decide to switch, then I will return half the money spent. Which by then we had almost 100% of the money paid $3000 out of $3800 that he was charging us. Well we waited one more month, and I didn't see any difference in his teeth, so then we made the decision to switch, which we were going to pay another $3800 to an actual orthodontist. I then called him to see how he would refund my portion, and he changed his mind, stating that he originally told us it would take 2 years and he needed that time to fix his teeth. When I told him that even the orthodontists was apologizing for him on behalf of all dental professionals he started swearing at me on the phone. I don't recommend going to a dentist for orthodontic work. Go to an actual orthodontist. Dr. Richey is very unprofessional and will lie to you and make promises he won't keep. read more
