The teachers are all very nice, caring, helpful, communicative and friendly. Each classroom has a different color door, which is a fun way to differentiate and identify them. There are lesson plans for each day written on a board outside the classroom, which helps keep parents informed. There is very good communication between the teachers and parents, as well as from the parent board to other parents. The classroom sizes are small, and there are a few teachers per class, resulting in a very low ratio of students-to-teachers, with lots of personal attention. There is tons of fun and exploratory play for the children, some music days, and the children are always coming home with new arts/crafts type of things from fun projects. So much more than just a preschool; LCFCC really helps children and parents be part of a community!

Ms. Kanthi was my teacher and now she owns the same school and teaches my kids! She is absolutely amazing! All of the staff are incredible. Ms. Fatema, Ms. Chrissy, Ms. Kim, Ms. Sumudu, Ms. Raquel, Ms. Angelica, Ms. Hazmik. Literally every single one of them. All of them treat the kids as if they were their own, so much love and patience with the kids. My kids love going to school and they actually get excited about learning. Ms. Fatema's science class has been amazing in instilling a love for learning for our oldest child. We can't wait for our other kids to take Ms. Fatema's science class and Ms. Kim's science class. My oldest is definitely ready for kindergarten solely because of Ms. Fatema. The school has great hours for working parents from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Hot lunch is available for an additional fee. The school goes all out for all of the holidays and graduation. There are lots of opportunities for parent involvement should you want to be involved. I strongly believe in the schools foundational curriculum of play based learning. My daughter truly enjoys learning because of the fun atmosphere they've created around it. Nothing is forced, curiosity is nurtured, and they are free and independent to explore what they want to. The teachers are all so warm and kind, they really make preschool feel like a second home not to just my daughter but myself included. Picking up my daughter with my youngest has become one of our favorite things to do everyday because we feel so welcomed and the environment is always bustling with activities and laughter. The staff is incredible. They've always taken such great care of my daughter even during her toughest moments, she was never scolded or punished, they've always taken a kind and gentle approach which I really appreciate and helped my daughter work through some tough times. Especially miss Conny, she not only kept me updated with what my daughter was working through, but gave me tips, shared personal experiences, and was just there as a friend when I had those tough mornings. We couldn't be more grateful for our daughter's preschool, it's been a big part of her life and we are looking forward to when our 2nd little one could attend in the fall. We know that one day they will look back and remember Parents & Children's fondly just like their father does, as he was fortunate enough to attend Parents and Children's during his pre-K years. The fact that we are a multi-general Parents and Children's family evidences the educational, healthy, and happy experience they will create for your kids. P.S. they make THE best art projects and sensory activities!

The teachers are truly the heart of the school -- they know each child deeply, celebrate their strengths, and nurture their growth with patience, warmth, and expertise. Academically, the program is exceptional. My daughter learned phonics, reading skills (well above her age level), and basic addition and subtraction in a way that felt joyful and confidence‑building. The school also offers a rich selection of extracurriculars, including piano or violin, Mandarin language, soccer, and dance, giving children the chance to explore interests beyond the classroom. Another thing we appreciate is the sense of community. Parent events make it easy for families to connect, build friendships, and feel like part of something meaningful. The school also offers a summer curriculum that strikes the perfect balance between fun and continued learning -- my daughter always looked forward to it. This is a school where children are truly known, supported, and inspired. We're incredibly grateful for the foundation it has given our daughter.

It was wonderful to see the children come together like one big family--greeting each other warmly and saying goodbye as a group. We truly enjoyed all the creative art projects Ms. Emma introduced to the classroom, along with her gentle approach. There was never any pressure or hostility if a child chose not to participate in an activity, just gentle support. My son was introduced to STEM activities and did creative projects like transforming the classroom into an entire farm or a market. It was so hard to move to Pre-K, however, Ms. Veronica helped him blossom academically and socially. She is truly incredible!! We have seen our son transform and grow. He now communicates and plays well with peers. He has shown tremendous progress in academics under Ms. Veronica's guidance. She provided us with daily updates good and bad. We celebrated milestones and achievements and worked on issues together. As a parent, you're kept informed of all activities. Every month a calendar is shared marking the daily activities. In Ms. Veronica's class, each week was focused on the letter of the week and all the activities were based on the letter. This was incredibly helpful as we would continue it at home. What immediately impressed us is RN's incredible Director, Ms. Rosalie. She always has the warmest smile and knows about every single child and what occurred during the day. I'm not sure how she does it, but she stays involved and extremely supportive of all families. Her attention and compassion is what makes RN so special. On top of that, she makes the most amazing banana and zucchini bread!! It is true that they say it takes a village and RN has become our village! All the teachers at RN are incredible. They are friendly and always there to help. The kids engage in so many different activities ranging from baking to sports. In terms of details, they have a great balance of outside and inside activities. Parents can choose to pack a lunch or order from their easy menu. Parents pack a snack and I found this most helpful because I could monitor what my child ate. We are so grateful to Robbin's Nest and would recommend it 10/10 for the care, growth, and confidence it brings to children and families alike. I highly recommend to all our friends and family for the incredible experience we have had. It is really hard to move into the next chapter as we start elementary, but with the help of Ms. Veronica and Ms. Rosalie, we are ready to move forward.

Even though we've moved on, we've remained connected through friends and my kids still talk about CCNS with so much affection. They ask to visit, remember stories of their teachers and friends, still proudly wear their end of year hand print shirt to their elementary school (iykyk!) That alone speaks volumes. One thing I truly appreciate about CCNS is that it's a cooperative school in the truest sense: parents are involved, invested, and empowered. Like any school or organization, there is always room for growth, and what has always impressed me is that CCNS leans into that. Parents help shape the program, respond to community needs, and collaborate with teachers to make it better year after year. During our four years, I saw the school grow in thoughtful, intentional ways because families cared and worked together. Another unique gift of CCNS is the community it creates. Because parents spend time in the classroom, you don't just get to know the other kids, you genuinely come to love them. My closest friendships today began in that little school. It's where I built my village, and where I saw firsthand a community of adults showing up for each other's children with kindness, patience, and joy. No school is perfect, but CCNS is a place where people listen, care deeply, and continually strive to create a nurturing, play-based environment for young children. My wife was the one who did most of the co-op classroom time because of our schedules, and she loved it. The community there is real supportive for parents as well as kids who actually get to know each other, and teachers who treat every child like an individual. Even though I wasn't in the classroom as often as I would have liked, every time I was there it felt like an extended family with everyone pulling together to make something special for the kids. I made it parent education nights as often as possible, and those were surprisingly great. They actually gave us useful tools and a space to connect with other parents going through the same stuff. The school itself is clean, safe, playful, and full of hands-on activities. Melody would come home excited with stories about art, outdoor play, nature time, and all the fun special events they put together. She loved, loved, loved the teachers and friends she made there. It gave her the perfect transition before moving into public school, where when she started TK, she was immediately comfortable and making friends right away. If you're looking for a preschool that's warm, community-oriented, and truly cares about kids and families, CCNS is incredible. We're so grateful we found it.
