Zach met with me and spoke by phone several times to review some specific concerns prior to installation to accommodate future plans for the yard. The office staff was accessible and responsive regarding scheduling. The work was completed in a day. Despite the warm weather, the high quality grass seed they use where the lines were installed is growing back well already and the system has worked well as designed. Zach has been responsive to several follow up calls I have had regarding operation of the system and I am learning how to work the watering schedule in the phone app which is extremely convenient. The pricing for the system we installed was reasonable and competitive! Highly recommend.

They were told not to install any heads in the right of way. They did and then they removed it. The overall sales person (RICK HARRISON) who I directly designed my system with, did not communicate to the installation team the type of sprinklers I wanted and where to install the back flow valve. They also had to install a pressure pump, due to low pressure for $1400.00. I specifically told Rick where it needed to be in relation to the electric outlet . I had the outlet installed exactly where Rick said it had to be. I then spent $200.00 to have an electrical outlet installed. When I checked their work after they left. I found an orange extension cord lying on the ground, in a pool of water ,connected to my $200.00 outlet, they installed the pump to far away from the outlet. I again had to pay another $200.00 to move the outlet so the pump can connect directly to the outlet. Then the pump cracked and stop working, the back check valve cracked and had to be replaced. this is after I had them winterize my system. It has been nightmare of a project. Everytime they came out, something was wrong. I finally had to ban them from my property. it is now several years later and the system is worse than ever. I have spent a lot of money in repairs. I basically will have rebuilt the system by the end of this year. Do not use this company. Beware of Rick because he is smooth but does not follow through.Get everything in writing, get a design of your sprinkler System before they install (they want a $150.00 to do so)

They are good at sales, but the actual lawn care results were very disappointing. For the second year in a row, my lawn is brown. I even paid more this year for additional services I did not have before, but the lawn actually looks worse. I pay them for disease control and basically everything they offer, yet the lawn still has the same issues. They keep saying it is due to the soil, but other people have told me it looks like disease. One person on their team even said it looked like disease again, but still offered no real solution. Then the office said it was not disease, but again, they did not come out, do anything meaningful, or offer a real plan to fix it. Another company I called said they were confident the issue was disease. They also said that if disease control had been done, the company should have offered to treat it or at least come out and inspect it. That made me question whether the disease control was actually working, or whether it was handled properly. To be honest, my lawn looked better before I started using them. They are expensive, and since using them, my lawn looks worse than ever. The biggest issue is that when I asked about the problem, they never really came out to inspect it and find the actual cause. It also takes days to get a response on anything, and when they do respond, it is usually just the same repeated explanation with no real solution. No one seems to take ownership, offer help, or try to actually fix the problem. When I called to cancel, they did not offer to come look at the lawn, fix anything, or make it right. The response was basically, "Ahh man, I'm sorry. I know we did our best, but I truly wish you luck." All of my neighbors' lawns look great, and they use other companies. I am moving to one of those companies because I cannot keep paying a premium price for a lawn that looks brown, unhealthy, and worse than it did before I hired them.

After a bit of back and forth and estimates, plus scoping reviews, I ended up going with Pure Turf, and so far, I am happy with that decision. I ended up signing for the next year which includes the initial fertilization and seeding, weed control and maintenance once spring comes back around. The process has been solid and easy. The team is responsive and quick to respond when needed. I communicate with them via text and they are always timely in response, while also ensuring to answer any questions I may have, etc... Since the initial seeding, I have reached back out to have a few patchy areas reseeded. They came out without delay, walked me through what to do next and how to monitor progress before the freeze of winter hits. From start to now, I have seen a great improvement in my lawn. Still have a few areas to focus on, but I am hopeful that next year I will have the lawn I am hoping (and paying) for! Overall, glad I went with Pure Turf and looking forward to next years season!

Lee Company advertises "straightforward pricing" and "no surprise fees," which implies customers…read moreshould receive clear, upfront estimates. When a long‑time customer only learns about a substantial diagnostic fee after the technician arrives, that's a breakdown in communication and not consistent with those promises. It's reasonable to expect to be told the full structure (dispatch + diagnostic + separate repair quote) during scheduling so you can make an informed decision. I usually don't write reviews, but I am compelled to write this review today. I had a scheduled appointment for somebody to take a look at my home regarding electrical switches that were no longer working. The technician did show up, and I acknowledged the $79 dispatch fee. He came in and took a few pictures and then came back to me and told me I needed to pay an additional $255 for him to be able to find out what's wrong. This approach seems so absurd and ridiculous. Lee Company has never done so in all seven years that I've used them. This is the first time, and I'm very disappointed. They could've been much better in their approach. This gimmick here allows them to pad their wallets with both $79 and $255 all at once. What doesn't make sense is that after charging me this amount they would then tell me what it would cost to repair it. What if they tell me that the cost to repair it is $1000? So now I'm out $255 plus $79 if I choose not to proceed. Instead of utilizing these gimmicks, would it not just make sense for them to simply tell people when they're making the appointments that it's not just a $79 fee for dispatch, it's $79 plus $255 for them to actually look at what's going on? It is just sad and disappointing. I think you all should know before you call Lee Company for any work that this is what they are now doing. When I told the technician that I was going to write this review, he said he would just not even charge me the $79, which I don't really care about. I'm happy to pay this stupid $79, but I am so disappointed because it's a waste of my time. They could do better than that.

I also needed 4 ceiling fans replaced and a vanity light in the bathroom installed. The team showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. I was given an estimate of $1000 but the house wiring would not be up to code in order to pass the building inspection. Travis Electrical stated that it would cost me an additional $1000 to bring things up to code. I agreed. 4 hours later the team called me and said they had completed the project as I had agreed to bring them a check. During the walk through I was informed that one of the globes on a fan was broken when they opened the package. He said, "Take the box back to Lowe's and the store would replace it. (The globe). I took his word for it. I also asked if they guaranteed the house would pass building codes. He said no. (In case they missed something) The next morning Travis Electrical Service administration called and were asking for a 5 star rating for the electrical team. I stated that the team was courteous and professional but way overpriced @ $500 per hour. This morning I said that the work looked good. I am now at the house inspecting the 4 ceiling fans. Upon further inspection. I found that one of the lights was without chain markers (extended pieces of chain with a medallion at the end. This medallion is clearly marked either "fan" or "light" which makes it easy to turn on the fan or light or both. I searched through the boxes and found the two chains and installed them myself. Another fan had the two chains installed in the wrong place completely backwards. Which I uninstalled and reinstalled correctly. Because 3 out of 4 fans required work from me to operate correctly. I am beginning to question whether the fixture was broken during installation or not. As I study the work receipt I see that I was charged $761 for five wireless smoke detectors. (Amazon sells them for $32 a piece). A plastic weather proof cover for an outlet was $54. I applaud their professionalism and courtesy but feel I was taken advantage of because of my deadline time frame and the extreme markup for smoke detectors and plastic all weather cover and the terrible attention to detail on the ceiling fans. The next day I received a call from the company's customer service asking if I was satisfied with the work. I said, "No I am not satisfied." And I explained to her why. She said, "I will be there with a crew tomorrow and make everything right." They showed up on time. Fixed all my issues. Took the smoke detectors off the walls and gave me a refund check of $761. I am very impressed with how deeply they wanted to make me a happy customer. And now I am. 5 stars for customer service.
