I hired Bridger Design + Build to do a large exterior renovation to my home this fall that included…read moresiding and wood rot repair, soffit/fascia replacement, new gutters, chimney flashing repair, and new exterior paint. The result is beautiful. Multiple people have commented that my house looks "new," and it really does. To receive quality service that surpasses expectations is so rare these days -- Bridger may be that unicorn. I highly recommend John, Max, Freddy, and the entire team. My experience with Bridger Designs was bad. It was a big job, so maybe they weren't equipped for…read moreit. They cut every corner they could. The job could have been completed in 2weeks--took 4weeks--but they had to come back repeatedly to fix their mistakes. They replaced 5"trim with 4"trim, so had to come back and put back in new 5" trim. The siding they used was shorter than the existing siding , so had to add trim on the bottom to cover the gap, etc, etc., etc. They made no effort to protect the plants around the house. Plants were broken, stomped out of existence, and overspray covers my rhododendron and laurels. I provided them with an itemized listing of all the plants destroyed (didn't include those oversprayed bc hope they'll be okay eventually) and gave them a choice to replace or deduct their cost from the total job. This winter I noticed in the garage/shed that there were huge gaps between the boards where they replaced rotten boards. If I could upload pictures, I could show this, along with the poor wood boards they used to replace those they removed. There is a 1/2" space between two boards. I texted Bridger Designs and asked them to replace the poor boards with good boards big enough so there wouldn't be gaps, but they refused and sent me the name of their lawyers. It was a poor experience all the way around. Every day I'd have to bring mistakes to their attention. The owner and manager weren't around. And, only one of the workers seemed to understand English. They kept having to do things over!! Why they didn't try to do it right the first time makes no sense except to save money on materials. And still, I'm left with a shed /garage that now needs serious repair--even the paint appears to be buckling where they made their patches. I filed a complaint with BBB, but they have not responded.

First - reading the review prior to mine - I couldn't be more shocked. Our remodel was just finishing up as their project was starting and I strongly believe some of what is said below is wildly fabricated. Josh was nothing short of a consummate professional on our job. Did everything go perfect? No - does it ever on a major home renovation project? But Josh made sure every single issue was taken care of. Including when an electrician royally screwed up our wiring. Josh lost a lot of time and money having it redone and didn't even try to up-charge me for the difference despite the lost time, materials and re-do of the job by a new electrician. Even months after the job was done - he has come back to fix minor issues that pop up (grout fixes, etc) and has never charged us one extra penny. I have recommended Hastings to several friends and neighbors - including a friend who has them doing a full second story addition on their house right now and is very happy and our neighbor who runs a major house flipping company (tv show) and he has hired them on to help him as well. I had purchased a pressure washer in May of 2023. In February of 2024, the nozzle attachment…read more(plastic) broke as did the hose connecting to the soap dispenser. I called customer service and was told, in writing, that although those 2 items that broke on my machine were a defect for that series 2300, and that they cannot send me anything but the same model as that is company policy whether the product was defective or not. So, my model 2300 is defective, and they are sending me a new model 2300 although they know it is defective. Don't think I will be purchasing a new product from this company because of the company policies. Unbelievable.

I just think they were very busy at the beginning, but my texts and phone calls now are usually returned the same day. The quality of work is excellent. They fixed problems left behind by others, and pointed out great suggestions for making the area more user friendly.
