I've had an opportunity to try a couple of them and "The Lounge" is not one I would recommend for a few reasons. While the space is fairly long and looks decent from a design standpoint, it is very poorly kept up. Quite dirty all around. They're tables with broken glass that have not been removed and many others that have dirty plates and glassware just sitting there. When it comes to food selections, the sadness continues. The chicken that's plated in the lounge is very tough and tasteless, it just looks sad before even having to taste it. A couple desserts also, but generally just nothing to eat. Thus, had to leave it almost right upon entering. There is a lack of bottled water at the lounge as well, which is very useful for taking on the airplane. On the plus side, there is a cozy little bar area with some decent selections. That's probably the only positive I can find about the place, but generally, not a lounge I would recommend. Ps. Due to the confusingly generic name of this lounge, there seems to be some confusion and many of the photos on Yelp are actually of a different lounge.

However, your basic needs are met here: free wifi, comfy, quiet seating, and a decent spread consisting of hot and cold dishes to keep you full. There's a small little business area with printer, and DirecTV. No shower facilities, but the bathrooms are large and clean.

When I went the first thing I noticed was how inviting the place was with the fun choice of music and how warm they kept it inside. I also really enjoy the layout of the bar. There are lots of little rooms, each with 3 to 5 tables which makes it perfect for a more private evening out, or you can also enjoy yourself at their classy bar. Naturally there is also space if you want to go out with a group of friends or have a happy hour with your work buddies. They even have karaoke, fun! There pisco sour was just yummy and they have some great things to nibble on as well. They cheese platter is beautifully arranged with salami and several artisanal cheeses. I tried their manchas a la parmesana (clams baked with parmesan cheese) which were not the best I've had, but good. Their empanadas we just fine as well the only strange thing is that they were served on a plate and covered in plastic rap (maybe a mishap). All in all a nice chill bar to spend an evening.

The WiFi network and password are on display and it works just fine. Dining seating is a little awkward. The cheap tables sit up high but you sink into the leather sofas so you kind of have to reach up to eat. I'm also not a fan of the steel dividers which attempt to create order in the seating. The food selection is minimal--some small sandwiches that I am 99.9% certain came out of plastic wrap, peanuts, dry cereal, and a few other things. I ate outside the lounge and then came in. They do have a full bar, though, and the bartender was really chatty and friendly. Actually, he really made the whole experience of the lounge. He is clearly a master of his craft, both in terms of style and depth of drinks (with bitters, fresh herbs, etc.). It was fun just watching him make drinks for other people! Each one was made with expertise and care. Note that all drinks are complimentary. The Wi-Fi is functional but slow, so don't plan on doing anything intense. That includes streaming music because I was trying to play Spotify and the connection was so sketchy that I just turned my headphones off. There are outlets at each of the seats, even the ones near the bar, but note that they have only one USB connection (for any device) and then the two actual outlets are the Chilean-style plugs, so you'll need an adapter for those. They are doing a bunch of drilling and small construction projects right now...like while people are in the lounge...so that's a bit strange, but it's not terribly bothersome with good headphones. This lounge could use some upgrades but is pretty solid in the grand scheme of things. They do have a pancake machine and a few other touches that make the food selection better, and they bring out fresher things toward 6 PM. Even if you don't drink, go to the bar! I'm upgrading this review to 4 stars after having walked around the lounge and gone to the bar again.

A group of my neighbors decided to make an early dinner reservation at the restaurant over the holiday weekend (Fiestas Patrias). Due to the earlier-than-normal curfew, the restaurant stopped serving and turned off the music at 8 p.m. (normal Chilean dinnertime). Thankfully, we'd had two hours to enjoy pisco sours, sparkling wine, ceviche, provaleta, empanadas, entraña, and pizza. Thanks to the pandemic, our temperatures were taken at the door and the menu (in English and Spanish) downloads onto your phone with via QR code. I can highly recommend the blue cheese- and-carmenere empanadas, which also contain beautiful caramelized onions. Also, the trio of ceviches was lovely and the toasted bread crisps had a buttery garlic flavor. We ordered two warm provaletas that come with herbs, tomatoes, and walnuts, but only the second one was actually served at an acceptably warm temperature. I also recommend the pear, brie, and caramelized onion pizza. The pizza and pears are very thin but the flavor is good, though I would not call the dough "gourmet". Possibly because it is winter or because of covid, the pool has been drained, but the evening view of the mountains was still the highlight of the meal, como siempre.

We tried the traditional Pisco Sour as well as the Passionfruit variety, but my favorite was their Ginger and Honey cocktail.
