Update 2026. Still going and seeing improvements in my nervous system and energy levels. The best place to go to be adjusted. You feel alive and home with the plants, music, and smiles all around. They have helped me with my body when nobody wanted to. I have enormous respect for Dr. James and where he is removing subluxations. He is always smiling, upbeat, supportive, and well-informed. I rarely feel comfortable with male doctors, but he is reassuring. Trauma stored in the body is releasing bit by bit. They have short sessions multiple times a week to support recovery and rebuilding between. I sleep for a couple of hours after each session as it releases trauma and stress. I always get scared at new chiropractors. I will be scammed or crack my neck too roughly. NO, NOT HERE. THEY ARE WONDERFUL. They are in this practice to heal, not for greed. Try an adjustment, and you won't regret it. They also use a clicker often, which seems to be much less invasive. They always have great promos and even events like yoga. It feels like a familiar place as soon as you walk in there. Life works and makes YOUR LIFE WORK! I could go on and on, but just know they are there waiting and are right for you! They listen to what your body is telling you and understand that everyone is different with different needs and treatments. You're greeted by smiling gorgeous receptionists. Who is willing to work with you to find a plan appropriate for you. Thank you, Lifeworks! :) I am no longer worried about getting concussions. My mobility went from a walker to without. My tics have went down roughly 90%. read more

Aug 2025, My family doctor approved my application for the MAiD program. I was in such sever pain, I could not manage my life as it was. I could not sleep not sit not walk nothing. I was taking pain pills every hour instead of the recommended 4 hours. I believed if my formal approval did not come through soon, I would take matters into my own hands. A friend recommended Dr James Whillans at Lifeworks family Chiropractic office. I was doubtful, but went to see Dr James. On Sept 2 2025 I basically crawled into his office. He took x-rays and scans, then took time to explain the damage he could see, he made no false promises, he said it would take several months of appointments starting at 4 times a week. We started, within a few months, we had more scans and Dr James reviewed them and talked to me about the improvements. I could feel the improvements. The formal approval for the MAiD program arrived. I cancelled it. It was no longer needed. It has been 7 months, I still attend my treatments twice a week. Yes I still have some pain, but I can handle it. I have hope for a future without pain. I now go camping, fishing, hiking, and have returned to work. I used to pray for death, now I give thanks for life. A life that Dr. James gave back to me. I don't think Dr James will ever know how much he has done for me. I am forever grateful Shyan D. read more

Dr. James has been mine and my husbands chiropractor for the last 3 years and the difference in my quality of life has been huge. I dealt with daily neck pain growing up and honestly thought it was something I would always live with, but over these past few years that pain has completely gone away. Alongside chiropractic care, we also worked with other practitioners and modalities like acupuncture and osteopathy, which I think all have value in supporting overall health. However, seeing Dr. James was the one weekly and consistent part of my care over the full 3 years, and I truly feel that consistency made a significant impact. His adjustments are precise and effective, and we appreciate that he uses X-rays to maintain a strong understanding of what needs to be adjusted and worked on over time. He also gives practical lifestyle guidance that supports long-term results, not just temporary relief. We are very grateful for his care and highly recommend him. read more

Getting treatment from Lifeworks is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Before seeking treatment I was burdened with lower back pain that I expected would never go away. Now, half way through my treatment plan, I have virtually NO back pain. I have received adjustments from each Dr. James, Dr. Kent and Dr. Emily and they are all incredibly gracious, supportive and attentive. Every time I'm in there I have a positive experience, not to mention the reception staff who are so very awesome and accommodating (despite my constant re-scheduling and being late for appointments). I HIGHLY recommend going to Lifeworks for anyone who wants to improve their overall health and well-being- whether you simply need help supporting your body to handle stress or you have chronic pain that you feel hopeless about. read more

I went to this clinic as I was referred there by close family and friends . Was not disappointed. They have the ability to do X rays in clinic . They have helped me immensely on my healing journey . They found an old unknown fracture in my pelvis, which had created one of my main issues with my hip going out of alignment .no other chiropractor had found this before. I also have had improved brain function . And I originally went to correct my jaw alignment . I have been able to understand my body at a deeper level and how the nervous system is effected by the misalignment. Which has helped me in many other aras in my life. So thankful for this clinic all of their doctors are amazing and their staff. Thank you , thank you , thank you ! read more

All I have to say is WOW! I feel amazing. When I first started care I was unable to do many things. For example I couldn't vacumn, wash floors, etc. Now I can do that and more without even thinking about it. Last week I shoveled with the help of my hubby, three truck loads of top soil into our garden and flower beds. I haven't been able to do that for at least three years prior to this. After having my chiropractic care reduced to once a week I noticed my feet were bothering me. Everything hurt before so I hadn't really noticed my feet. I started laser therapy for my neuropathy and I have to say my feet are now almost completely healed. I would say about 95%. Thank to all of you for your excellent work. read more

Lifeworks Family Chiropractic has become family, All the staff from reception to Dr Emily & Dr Kent (can't remember the other Dr's name) They are all incredible. I was introduced to this practice by my partner and wow what a life changing experience. As a busy working mama of two toddlers, they are so incredibly accommodating, patient, understanding and helpful. I always seem to be running behind and yet arriving at my appointments is always welcomed and we are treated with care. I have been afraid of Chiropractors my whole life (cracking bones) and my partner is very particular in who he allows to work on him. I could not recommend them enough! I will not go anywhere else. THANK YOU! read more

Met with Doctor Emily first to go through a few physical assessment tests. She was very thorough explaining what each test was for. Next met with Doctor Kent to review assessment test results and prepare a back to wellness plan. He was thorough explaining what each process was and the parts of the body and mind being affected and what end result was the goal. Have been fortunate to have been treated by the complete Doctor Team with amazing results. Highly recommend the LifeWorks Chiropractic Team!! Kassie at front reception is always smiling and enjoyable to talk to. She will answer all your questions which the Doctors are unable to. A great experience!! read more

There are not enough words to describe how amazing these doctors and admin staff are! I've been going to Dr. James for about 3.5 years due to severe vertigo brought on by black mold. It was so bad that it was affecting my job and my life. After 1 adjustment he did more for me than any doctor had and he continues to help me to this day! I constantly had questions about my care and they helped me to learn and understand what care I needed going forward. Everyone there is so happy to help and everyone is always smiling and just so friendly! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else and I'm so happy I made the decision to see a chiropractor when I did! read more

I so enjoy walking into Lifeworks Family Chiropractic! I am Always greeted with a smile and the front desk staff works hard to remember who I am. I haven't been in for several months, due to life situations, and when I walked in, I felt like I had been coming all the time. They make me feel heard and accepted. They help me understand what they're adjusting and what body parts it affects too. I'm one with a lot of questions and curiosities and they have no problem answering them for me. Oh and the extra little workshops they have, are informative and I enjoy them. Recommend these guys to anybody and everybody. read more

I started going to LifeWorks a few months back not really believing in chiropractic care. Well let me tell you I am a believer now. Through the last few months I have discovered feeling in fingers that we had been numb for years. I have more energy and a lot less pain. The entire staff is incredible, I go in and I'm greeted by name, and everyone is friendly and happy to help with anything I need. There are three main chiropractors and I have had all of them work on my back, and they all are personable, incredible with their hands, and make sure I feel listen to. read more

LifeWorks Chiropractic is fabulou! Our family has been treated regularly by Dr. James for a few years now. He is always very attentive, kind, warm & friendly. Most importantly, he is an excellent chiropractor with wonderful technique that has helped each of us. We also appreciate the other wonderful chiropractors in the office that we have seen occasionally, the odd time our regular practitioner has been away. The front office staff are also fantastic!... friendly, professional & accommodating. They all make going for an appointment a great experience. read more

Results fast! I originaly started going for my carpultunnel, but was quickly informed there was more they could help me with. Head clarity and ability to focus has been something I've always wanted to have back. I lost these traits somewhere in my football and snowboarding career from concussions. On top of vision and clarity recovery, my carpultunnel, which woke me up every night at 3am, 4 am, 5 am, so on, is fading away. Dr.s Kent, Emily and James are sure to be able to help you in some way and I would encourage anyone to go visit. read more

I love the way Dr James adjusts and listens to our concerns. My body responds better to adjustments with the instrument rather than manual. I've sent many of my friends and family here. The office feels inviting and like home (not so sterile). The ladies at the front and welcoming and joyful and care about each person. I feel my nervous system getting calmer and my back, neck and digestive system improving. I also appreciate the advice and materials they give for exercises and workshops. ....And i love the plants! read more

This is a great clinic! One thing that I especially appreciate is having the X-rays and nerve scans prior to treatment then a plan is made. I've heard some people complain about chiropractors telling them upfront how often they need to attend but I've been to chiropractors where after treatment | get told book in two days. Because LifeWorks outlines a plan and books appointments ahead of time there is a clear line of sight. One other positive note about this clinic id the warm, caring and friendly front desk team. read more

I have been going to Lifeworks Family Chiropractic for about 4 months and have already noticed a significant improvement in my health and well being. Dr. James is caring and professional and makes an effort to educate each client about the importance of healthcare and how it relates to your nervous system. Dr. Kent is also very friendly and professional, and the ladies in the office are just wonderful. The Lifeworks family makes each visit really enjoyable - I just wish I had discovered them earlier! read more

Dr James has been an amazing addition to our personal health. He took the time to get to know not just myself but my family as well. All four of us see Dr James weekly and biweekly, and have notice huge huge changes. I no longer have chironic upper back pain and my hips are happy. Both my children love going to play with the office toys, get their adjustments and eat their wonderful apples. To top it off, the office staff are amazing! We look forward to each and every visit - trust me... so will you! read more
