My oldest is in 5th grade. EVERY YEAR since we moved to this area where they use Life Touch, they have upset my daughter. In 2nd grade, they insisted on putting some stuff on her hair (her hair was fine). In 3rd grade, they refused to let her stand how she wanted. She just HAD to have her hand on her hips. 4th grade, she didn't want a photo because the previous years had been so traumatic. This year, she wanted one. She wanted to stand with her hands folded in front of her. The photographer said she looked like she was doing "the potty dance". They made my daughter cry, and I now have a photo with her scowling and a tear-stained face. So glad I spent money on this!!! I don't know where they get their photographers from. They never fail to make my daughter feel worthless and unheard. We won't be getting any more school photos. read more

This company is the absolute worst - not only should you personally avoid at all costs, but you need to speak up at school functions, meetings, etc. and strongly advocate AGAINST this awful company and even more awful photographers! For a long time, our child's daycare had been using a local mom and pop operation, which delivered to us really nice photos at very reasonable prices. After repeatedly being "courted" by a Lifetouch rep, our daycare decided to try them out for the first time. I called an 800 number to try and get pricing info (since none was provided to our school), and spoke to a complete dimwit who informed me that yes, sometimes your kid will be blinking in every pic and that's tough luck because the photographers don't bother to actually look through the viewfinder when photographing. Does that even remotely sound like the way a photographer should perform their work? It goes on...Our picture day was scheduled for Monday 10/1, but our school was informed at 8pm on that Friday that "one of the photographers can't go, so picture day would have to be cancelled." Let me remind you that for us, all the other parents, and the daycare entity too, this was all our FIRST interaction with Lifetouch, and this is how they decide to make their first impression? By canceling one school day before the actual picture day? Now we're being informed they won't be able to come back until December, but I'm glad to know that our school is shopping elsewhere. Really wish I were able to give zero stars because this company is unacceptable. Both of my girls go to the same school and both of their pictures are terrible. The photo was taken in the school auditorium and the auditorium chairs are showing... what sense does that make. The photographer should no better, if this is the case then I should be able to take the pictures since they don't care about where they put the children, they don't ensure everyone look together. If the photographers are doing this imagine what their main office is saying..... ditto! I called and of course no help whatsoever. Terriable terrible!!!! They need to hire individuals who are able to work with children and take pictures of students with glasses!

This company deserves no stars. Each year that my children have taken pictures with this company their pictures have come out horrible. Their picture packages are overpriced and they do not take into consideration parents who have more than one child in the school. The last pictures that my son took for spring his clothes were disheveled and they allowed him to take pictures with his hands in his pocket who does that if your professional photographer? I plan to go to my son's PTA meeting and request that they find another company instead of using this one because each time I have poor experiences and pictures that are just absolutely not worth the price in paying. One year I even got pictures back with my son having a snotty crusty nose how do you take a picture of a child with a runny nose and expect a parent to pay for that?
