Tim, Rebecca and the rest of the crew at Abella studios; how do we ever thank you for photographing our wedding?! From our first initial meeting with Ryan, we knew we had made the best decision. Ryan was professional, assertive and took the time to talk and explain every single detail with us. When I called to see if I could request the same shooters my sister had used previously for her wedding, Ryan was able to guarantee two other photographers that he highly recommended in their place since they were not available. He even sent me their portfolios so I could see some of their work. Fast forward to two weeks before our wedding, I met with Ryan for final preparations for our big day and he presented me with the new photo booth they were rolling out. Ryan was able to show me pictures from a show they had attended and I was completely happy with the idea and new set up. Fast forward to the week of our wedding, Tim called me. We spoke for a good half hour going over the schedule for the day. Detail by detail making sure every single moment was accounted for on our side as well as my husband's side. I knew at that very moment, Tim was a blessing and I was pumped for the big day! Our wedding day had finally arrived and Tim was early on arrival, which of course was great in my mind! He was very professional, attentive to detail and was hilarious with his sayings and phrases which kept us laughing through out the day. Rebecca handled my husband's side and met up with us at church. I could keep on going about how fantastic Tim and Rebecca were that day but I think you should have the idea by now :) They never "got in our way" and never really "posed" is , they in my eyes just let things happen naturally and took the most amazing pictures that we now get to enjoy for a life time! If you are considering a photographer for your wedding or any special moment, I HIGHLY recommend Abella Studios! These people are absolutely incredible. The customer service was astounding and the final products were even better. We worked with Milissa who was so helpful throughout the entire process. We had to postpone our wedding once due to covid and Milissa made this process as easy as possible. Milissa was the main person I interacted with so as the big day approached, I started to think "oh gosh.. I hope everyone else is just as good" and boy was I blown away. We had Gustavo as our photographer and he was phenomenal. Taking formal shots can be tiring but he kept us all engaged and did it in such an efficient way. Working with him was an absolute delight and we felt so lucky to have had him on our big day. We also had a videographer, Damion, who was absolutely exceptional. Not only did he have an amazing personality, but he worked quickly and efficiently while also doing an incredible job. What was even better was how well Damion and Gustavo worked together to limit the amount of extra shots we would have to take. We had high expectations after our wedding day based off of the service they provided but once we actually received our photos (super quickly I'll add), we were absolutely blown away. So many of my friends and family have said they haven't seen such beautiful photos before. It started down pouring just 15 minutes into our shoot so I was pretty bummed about how the photos would turn out yet somehow they are bright and beautiful but do not look heavily edited, which is exactly what I had asked for. Abella studios did photo and video for our wedding and we are SO happy we found them. We had our engagement shoot with Ryan and he was great, he was easy to work with and we loved our photos! Everyone at Abella was super quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the wedding and so helpful. On our wedding day we had Gus and Nestor. They were fantastic!! They arrived exactly on time and were on point through the entire day and night. They both contacted me before the wedding and asked if there was anything specific we would like and they delivered on my requests. I was very nervous and scatter brained that day and it was a relief that they both knew exactly what they were doing and took charge. They were professional and lovely. Our photographer Gus even put on my veil when my bridesmaids were struggling with it, he did it perfectly! We got our photos back and we absolutely love them, they were perfect! The turnaround time was also impressive! There is not a single shot that I feel was missed and at the same time I don't feel that I missed my wedding because I was taking pictures, it was a great balance. Then we got our unedited video footage back and we loved watching it! It was hours long and it was like reliving the entire day, I highly recommend having this. After that we got our edited video which was also beautiful! Through the whole editing process the girls at Abella, Brittany, Milissa and Danielle have been so helpful and quick to respond, thoroughly answering any questions I've had. Most rude and unprofessional company i have ever experienced in my life. we hired them for our cinematography for our wedding and it was the only vendor i regret booking. aside from paying almost $4,000 for a video i could have made better in my high school tv science class, you will be working with the most rude and unprofessional people. be very aware and be sure to read every single line in the contract because they charge you for everything including $50-$100 for a 2 minute song. after waiting 6 months to finally receive my wedding video, they gave me 48 hours to review it and get back to them with any edits/changes i wanted make. unfortunately, i received the video while i was away on vacation and had a family member pass and was unaware of this 48 hour rule, but that didn't matter. they sent me the final video anyways without letting me change anything. after explaining this to the company they were very non understanding. i have never written negatively about a company in my entire life. however, you must be warned of the level of unprofessionalism you are working with this company. I only signed up for a yelp account so I can warn others about how horrible Abella Studios is. Do yourself a favor and book with a company who actually knows what they are doing and who actually cares about their customers. read more

Abella Studios is THE BEST! I work in the Bridal Industry so planning my wedding was a piece of cake because I know exactly who the top vendors are. All the brides that I work with highly recommended Abella Studios and so after doing my research I knew that I was set on booking them. Upon my first meeting, I knew that I was confident in my decision because not only do they do incredible work but they really took their time with me in answering all of my one-million questions. On the day of the wedding, the staff made me feel sooooo comfortable and I never really feel comfortable in front of the camera. The best part of all is that I kept forgetting that they were there! They weren't in my face or in in my space- I didn't feel crowded or overwhelmed by them and the best part of all is that I didn't have a bright light following me around all night! As any bride these days, I found a ton of pictures that I loved on Pinterest and I e-mailed them to Abella Studios letting them know that those were the pictures that I wanted to capture/recreate and they did just that! Everything has been so efficient and straightforward: from our initial consult with Ryan, to preparing for our actual wedding day, to corresponding with them after for album design. When we were thinking about a photographer for our wedding, we wanted to make sure that we got the absolute best, as having great pictures was very important to us. They were so helpful along the way- answering all of our questions and even helped with the over view process of the day (since we were clueless) They suggested many different places that we could do our engagement shoot, and also suggested some for our wedding day photos (got married in February so outside wasnt much of an option) Ryan (photographer) was so very patient and kind the day of. I am not a very big "picture" person so he made it light hearted and let me take a few minuets when he saw me getting tired of the non stop smiling. When my mother and I went to their studio we were shown a few pieces of their work. We literally cried watching other people's wedding videos because their work was so amazing. My new wife and I researched through a lot of different photo/video companies in the NJ area, and we were both impressed by the samples of Abella Studios' work, and recommendations that came from the many wedding websites and the venue we had picked. They also had a lot of prior experience with working at our venue. Our wedding was on August 23rd and our experience with Abella has been nothing but amazing. We chose a photo/cinematography package with four shooters for our day.
