I started to take golf a little more seriously over the winter and trained until I had an overuse injury in both wrists. I tried seeing a few specialists and working on physical therapy but I wasn't getting very far in recovery after a few weeks and had to stop playing all together. I was told by my coach to go see Joel who helped me get my wrists back and functional in a matter of 3 weeks. I honestly can say I was highly skeptical as I've grown up thinking chiropractic treatment was a bit of a pseudoscience. Some of my experience in other clinics had led me to believe chiropractors are incentivized to make you feel good in the moment but keep you coming back as a regular customer through a series quick fixes. Joel promised that if we did not make any progress after a 2-3 appointments he'd like me to stop coming and see a surgeon instead. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Appointments are easy, they take insurance and handle that aspect well including notification if your insurance might run out soon a few appointments ahead of time. We've gone as far at to fix not only my wrists but any tension in my neck, back, hips and shoulders as well. We even did some work on some of the mechanics of my golf swing which I've been able to take back to my coach and improve my game. Honestly this place saved my life. Golf was what got me through the hard times of Covid and Joel made it possible for me to continue my upward trend of progression and then some. It's been a few months since my last appointment and I've never felt better. I only wish I found this place earlier.

My biggest complaint has to be the fact myself and another patient were told not to eat kale and greens because they supposedly cause inflammation. This is absolutely untrue there are studies to back it up. Leafy greens help sooth inflammation and would lead to the patient feeling less pain. I don't know where Sean is getting his information from, but he needs to stick to being a chiropractor and not peddle false information. I do get it though, a customer in pain always returns, so you gotta keep them in that state I have left this place feeling like they just want you to keep coming back to make a buck off of you.
