I have learned that some things are just worth the wait. We signed a contract on August 13th with a 50% deposit, but couldn't get a start date until the HOA approved. The HOA approved a few weeks latter and we were given an install date of November 16th. It was going to take that long because we ordered a specialty color (anything other than white) and there was a major back order from the manufacturer. I wasn't happy about it, but I understood and was patient. Just before the 16th of November I got a call saying that they had to cancel because the order still had not arrived. Again, I was disappointed, but things happen that are outside all our controls. On December 1st I got a call saying that they would be out on the 3rd to install. It was a great Christmas gift. They arrived just after 9am and worked until about 4:30 PM. They were awesome. They worked straight through, with no breaks and guys had wonderful personalities. Very easy to talk to and get along with. For the most part I let them alone to do their job. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing. There were some mishaps with busted irrigation pipes, but I realize that is the nature of the beast if you aren't sure where/how they are running. NO PROBLEM! They were prepared for these instances and repaired them without any problem. When they finished, they cleaned up after themselves and explained warranty and maintenance instructions. Customer service from start to finish was terrific and the saying is right...good things come to those who wait.

This company owes us the 50% balance that was due upon fence completion. It has been 50-days and counting since the refund was supposed to be adjusted. We call and email daily, and still no response. I would not recommend these services!

We were told we had a life time warranty. I contacted them shortly after installation about an issue as our doors are extremely difficult to open and close. I spoke with the owner's son (or at least he said he was) shortly after installation but he didn't come out and he quit answering my calls. I do not recommend doing business with United Trades! They have many companies under United Trades

    Purchased white, vinyl fencing (90 ft. + 2 gates) through Lowes who sub-contracted installation to…read moreUnited Trades of Florida (Lifetime Fence). Pro: Fence after installation looks nice (after a lot of shenanigans I've had to deal with). Cons: -*****Irrigation plumbing in yard was busted during install. This happened right around the same time the internet cable was cut, BUT to avoid detection of doing this, helped themselves to turn off plumbing valve to complete the job without us noticing right away and was NOT communicated in any way. My wife and I noticed within a day or two that irrigation wasn't running at all and through troubleshooting and saw that this crew (Frank/Justin) turned off the valve to sprinkler system. Upon turning it back on, we observed a huge amount of water shooting out of the ground by fence post. It was then we knew what had happened and felt duped.***** This required a service call to sprinkler repair company and got lucky to book one due to most companies being booked out ~2 months in advance. -Internet cable was cut and noticed right away with internet going out when they were digging. When approaching Justin about it, told my wife that he saw the cable but thought it was inactive and proceeded to dig anyhow. This isn't a huge deal, but it was preventable and common sense should've prevailed. Required a service call for temporary line to be ran and follow-up ticket for line to get re-buried. Not a big deal, but definitely an inconvenience. -Constant follow-ups required with getting job scheduled (an uncommunicative Scheduler named Austin) and lack of response from United Trades of Florida (Lifetime Fence). Communication was just awful. Earlier in booking process with Lowes, this company also claimed to have lost power and phone service for a couple of days which was why they were so unresponsive - don't buy that excuse either. -Fence was to be installed on a WED+THUR. On the Thursday the job was to be completed, crew showed up for 30 minutes and left for parts. Yeah, they didn't call or return until the following day without any communication. This is unacceptable as well. So to summarize my rating of this company, it's "1-star". They don't know how to communicate properly, hire unethical/dishonest workers, and quite frankly wouldn't trust them to do anything again. I overpaid Lowes $700-800 for 90 ft. of white, vinyl fence w/ (2) gates to avoid having these kind of characters show up to do the install and knew this going into it during bidding process. My wife and I thought we would get more value/better service from using a bigger company with better access to supply during a tight market on any home improvement commodity, but we were dead wrong on this one! Be careful with this company and watch like a hawk if you have to use for any reason.
