I was involved in a not at fault accident in January when a Lexus of Richmond Hill driver crashed into my car while he was turning left. Luckily, we were all okay but it left me with a whiplash injury that was diagnosed by my MD and physiotherapist/chiropractor at Apple Creek. At the beginning of my visits, I was ill informed about the fact that my claims would not be submitted by them and that it would be this huge lump sum that I'd have to pay at the end. In fact, I was never told this clearly at all. My treatment lasted from January to April 2017 and at the end of those treatments, nobody mentioned anything and I was under the assumption that they were going to take care of the paperwork for me. 4 months later, in August, I received an e-mail telling me I needed to settle up a $972 invoice. Naturally, I was shocked because this isn't chump change. When I initially communicated through e-mail, I was given unclear solutions and answers as to what I should do so I finally phoned both my EHC and Apple Creek. When I spoke to Apple Creek on the phone, they admitted to the fact that they were actually changing management/infrastructure and to make *their* lives easier, they were telling "certain clients to file their claims themselves". They then told me that I could just file it online and no matter how many times I told them that I was on an individual plan and I *didn't* have an online portal, they just wouldn't listen. I finally paid the $972.25 that I was "owing" to put an end to this huge long nightmare of dealing with this and ended up having a huge interest owing on my credit card because of that. Once that was said and done, everything else happened at a reasonable time including reimbursement by both them and my EHC. In terms of therapists there, I've had a chiropractor and two different massage therapists. Both massage therapists were good although Jeanette really was excellent. Livia was my chiropractor and she was also professional and friendly. Overall, on the basis of just clinical practice alone, I can see why they get good reviews but this whole insurance thing has just been a series of poor communications that made my life very difficult; and this is the sole reason why I am so upset about this situation. Had I been informed about this from the VERY beginning of my treatments, it would given me a clearer idea of whether or not I was going to go forth with treatments in this practice because at the end of the day, I'm very focused on efficiency and ease of services for the client. So finally, 10 months after my accident, this has all been resolved but unfortunately, I will not be returning here for my needs and will seek care elsewhere should the need arise again.

As a powerlifter, one works through the aches and pains, but once in while you need to get it all relaxed for you so you can keep lifting all the things. I am THE WORST for scheduling a regular massage because it would be so regular I'd go broke. So I wait until urgent pains come up, like when my messed up left side go super messed up, to a point where it would hurt to move. My regular place didn't have any available appointments for the day I needed it or the day after, I thought I'd give Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre a call to see if they'd be able to fit me in. And they did. I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment and since it was my first time, I had to fill out intake forms, pretty standard. I was greeted by as staff at the reception desk, she was very friendly and I really appreciated that. They have a water cooler available at the waiting area, the waiting area is very clean. You look right into large space where they a lot of the physiotherapy happens. My therapist Sean came to get me at the time of my appointment, gave me a brief assessment of the more problematic areas and told me how the treatment will proceed. My massage with Sean was very good, he focused on the areas that was the cause of me going in, but he also reserved time to give attention to those spots that tend to get less attention, like the pecs that are often left last and sometimes even missed because time ran out. I've had one other treatment with Sean and his method is consistent. My treatment was about the same and I really enjoy that. Rested a few days and went back to the gym to get "dem gains". Their massage therapy services does cost a few dollars than average, but since I'm not good at planning ahead for this things, it's just the price I have to pay.

The office/studio is very clean, has everything that you need and Castra is a great guy. Furthemore, his rates were so reasonable, that I was able to go twice a week for over a month and the results were successful. I would HIGHLY recommend the East Brampton Physiotherapy clinic to anyone suffering from chronic pain or those wanting to make healthy adjustments to their lives to avoid pain in the future.

The treatment was not for me. As a health professional myself, and following my own experience, I need to advise all people with back pains, who seek the treatment of this clinic so called HIGH PERFORMANCE, that this is not the panacea. Not everybody will respond with pain relieve and ''new life'' The results, depends on the damage of the spine each of you have. In the first assessment the chiropractor should be able to give you an educated estimate of the expectation. Are you or are you not not a good candidate for the treatment.( again depending on the damage you have) Then you will have to decide. The treatment is very expensive. All that said, I want to thank all the staff of the clinic, who were extremely nice and caring. If you are a good candidate for the treatment I recommend this clinic.

I arrived at Naturopathic Living Medical Solutions seeking to better my overall health. I did not…read moreeven THINK about asking them to help me with my plantar fasciitis. BUT OMG!!! Dr. Debbie Smrz actually was able to ELIMINATE my foot pain completely! Here's my story: About 14 months ago, I went to the Urgent Care Clinic barely able to walk. I was diagnosed with a severe case of plantar fasciitis. It was so painful, I could barely walk. I sought treatment at a podiatrist who promptly prescribed orthotics and stretching. Nothing helped. After 6 months, the podiatrist decided to try cortisone shots in my foot. If I rate my pain prior to the injections, I would give it a 10 on a scale of 10. After the second round of injections, my pain went from a 10/10 to about an 8/10. Better...but still AWFUL. I was no longer going to the gym, and I was spending a lot of time sitting. I started gaining weight. I was told to exercise to lose the weight, but I couldn't put weight on my foot. I tried the stationary bike; the recumbent bike - but still a lot of pain. I only exercise I could do with minimal pain was swimming. And, frankly, not owning a cottage or a pool made this exercise very inconvenient. So I arrived at Naturopathic Living Medical Solutions for my initial assessment about my overall health. I wanted to feel better; sleep better and have more energy. In the assessment, Dr. Nadine Cyr asked about physical ailments. Plantar fasciitis, I responded. Have you tried BIOPUNCTURE, she asked? Bio-what? I had never heard of it. I was told it was one of the services the clinic offered. Dr. Cyr told me that her colleague, Dr. Debbie Smrz, has been successful in treating people in pain with biopuncture. As I was willing to try anything, I agreed. I made an appointment with Dr. Debbie for the following week and in less than 5 minutes she had injected my foot with some homeopathic substances. Immediately she asked if it felt better. Ummmm...maybe a bit? I wasn't sure. Two weeks later I came back for another treatment. It is feeling better, I said triumphantly. I think the pain is only at a 6 or 6.5 out of 10 now! I am so happy! Dr. Debbie thought it could get better. After treatment #2, I really noticed a difference. I went for a walk around my block without any pain. I no longer limped when I got up from the sofa. My boyfriend even commented that I no longer asked him to rub the bottom of my foot to relieve pain! I went back to Dr. Debbie for a 3rd treatment - but as she watched me walk to her office, she asked me if I needed more treatments. Then it hit me: I hadn't been in pain for a number of days. Pain was at a 0/10! YAY!! Biopuncture successfully relieved me of my foot pain and now I am able to focus back on exercising and improving my overall health. If it hadn't been for Dr. Cyr's deep and thorough assessment of my health, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Smrz. This clinic is seriously dedicated to helping all of their patients achieve optimal health. I was not aware of BIOPUNCTURE prior to going to Naturopathic Living Medical Solutions. I wish I had known about it. I could have saved myself months of pain. I encourage anyone with pain issues to talk to Dr. Smrz and Dr. Cyr at the clinic. Ask about BIOPUNCTURE. It was the only thing that helped my foot pain. Thank God it did.
