Not saying doctor was not knowledgable but maybe in my situation I self diagnosed myself with along with an Australian professional power lifter I met on vacation who told me back pain and the "no exercise or lifting diagnosis" was BS and to walk everyday for half an hour and start training again and over 2 weeks all my pain went away. Got more from a one lined sentence from a random dude who said "mate just walk 30 mins day and start lifting I reckon will be fine"...

He is also effective in creating strength training programs that are effective in weight reduction. My husband and I have been weight training for the past 15 years and we have been training with Dr. Faria for 3 years. Dr. Faria has rehabilitated my husband's torn rotator cuff (an injury from a prior weight lifting incident a few years ago) so that he has regained mobility and strength in his shoulder, and no longer requires surgery nor experiences discomfort. Dr. Faria also recently assisted me in overcoming an acute onset of osteoarthritis in my knees that flared up during ski season leaving me in significant pain with swollen knees and reduced mobility which prevented me from running, exercising at full capacity and engaging in my normal physical activities. After two to three months of targeted strength training, my knees are no longer swelling and there is no pain. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years primarily for massage therapy. David is an amazing RMT. He has experience with acupuncture too, which means he's familiar with pressure points and always gets the right spots. I had issues related to plantar fasciitis and was treated by Mehran and his staff. To be honest, I didn't think that physio would help, which was why I didn't book an appointment earlier. But after the first appointment with shockwave therapy, I felt a lot better. After a few sessions, I feel like I've learned enough to manage. Not only do you get the direct physical therapy, but they teach you about the stretches and management that you need to do. The staff are very friendly.

My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.

Not too long ago I had a great experience with the Naturopathic Doctor as well. Adam absolutely exceeded my expectations. Everyone here is professional, caring, extremely knowledgeable, highly qualified and experienced. I recommend this clinic to most of my clients, because my specialty is therapeutic massage, and I am confident that a full recovery can't be achieved without alternative rehabilitation such as Physiotherapy, Manual Therapy, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine, and more. I also trust the therapists here with helping my own children, and we all have to travel from Toronto. Definitely this is the best Physiotherapy clinic for me. My clients, amazed and almost in disbelief with such incredible care provided here, often send me "Thank You" messages expressing heartfelt gratitude for suggesting Family Physiotherapy. Efficiency, affordability, integrity and care are in my opinion some of the greatest qualities of the team that works here.
